We have come to Summer House for over 30 years with minimal issues and love it. We bring the minimum amount of clothing due to flying and knowing we can wash and dry clothes. We arrived on on Saturday and Monday morning we were going to wash clothes, towels, etc. The washer started filling up with water and then gave an error message and would not continue. I called Liquid Life, the property manager, to let them know and they said someone would come to fix it. They did not come that day but sent someone the next. The person said they could not fix it and said someone else would come out. No one did. I called again on Weds. and a lady said someone would be out the next day which is now Thursday. At this point we have soaking wet, dirty clothes trying to dry out in the tub, no clean towels, and no more clean clothes. By Thursday evening the washer was not fixed and we had no communication from them. I finally messaged the "host" on Friday morning hoping we could at least have one day to wash clothing and dirty beach towels and he said that he had a ticket saying the washer was fixed. I asked him when someone came to fix it and got no answer and he told me to go try it. It did not work. He insisted it had been fixed. On Friday evening he said he will report it to maintenance. Saturday morning we went to the airport in dirty clothing and suitcases full of dirty, sandy clothes and towels. Unacceptable. We will not stay there again.
