About this space
Built in 1835, this historical home on the West End is just steps from the best eateries, arts, and shopping the city has to offer. When you arrive, park your car in your private spot behind the house and forget about it for a while. This cozy second-floor apartment is the perfect place for a getaway!
The space
-There is not a full kitchen in this studio apartment. I have instead assembled a small kitchenette area. (See photos.) There you will have a microwave, toaster oven, Keurig coffee maker, tea kettle, small fridge, and water dispenser. The kitchenette area has been stocked with glasses, coffee cups, plates, bowls & cutlery, etc. Coffee, tea, and honey will be provided.

-In the summertime, you have your own rooftop garden and sitting area. There are little steps leading out to it through the large window. If you have any mobility issues, it may be a bit of a challenge, so please enjoy it at your discretion!

Great stay in the heart of Portland, the bathtub was so good for a warming soak after a cool day of exploring the arts district! The host was very accommodating and we will be considering staying here again, for sure!

The apartment was so cozy and comfortable for guests. It is clear a lot of thought went into making it the space it is. We had everything we needed and more. On top of that, we had a lost item scare. Luckily we found it, but Jennifer went above and beyond to take a look around for us after we departed.

Very cozy apartment and extremely close walking distance to most of the interesting places in Portland. The terrace was an amazing bonus! Parking was easy and we had clear instructions. Host is very responsive. Can’t wait to stay again some day!

Room was clean and perfect size/amenities & location is absolutely perfect!!! You can walk anywhere and everywhere is Portland & not a bad drive to Acadia if you want to go.

We loved our stay at Jennifer's place! It was perfect for the two of us. Loved the set up and the decor. Very clean & bed was very comfortable. The place is very charming. We especially loved the outdoor deck area. She has beautiful flowers everywhere. The neighborhood is great. Several restaurants & coffee shops within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again.

The apartment was immaculately clean. The location was great- we were able to walk to every restaurant/shop/museum on our radar. The neighborhood and building felt very safe. Only complaint is the bed was quite firm, and since I’m a side sleeper I woke up with hip and shoulder pain.The internet was out the first day we were there, and Caitlin gave us temporary access to a neighboring apartments WiFi for the time being, then fixed the issue within just a few hours. We really appreciated the quick communication and resolution.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this charming and spacious studio space with high ceilings and a wonderful outdoor patio. The location of the building is excellent with convenient walking distance to all local attractions. The assigned parking space was a very nice bonus and Jennifer was a great, courteous host. An enthusiastic recommendation!

Great stay!

Great apartment in an excellent location. Super walkable to most of Portland. We loved the charming decor and outdoor deck! Furnishings and fixtures were a bit dated and we encountered a few issues with bugs getting in, likely because of the window AC unit. Location felt very safe and hosts were kind.

Such a beautiful space, a lot roomier than it looked in the pictures. Every inch is super cute, we felt so welcomed and looked forward to heading back at the end of the day. The rooftop patio is perfect and so peaceful. Loved staying here.

Great stay at Jennifer's place. We really enjoyed it. It is loaded with charm, close to downtown, the check-in was easy, and we loved the charming patio. Having a parking space was an added plus. It was lovely and we hope to return soon!

Convenient place in a good neighborhood. Several good restaurants and bars in a 4 block radius. Walking down to the old Town tourist area is about .7 miles downhill. Amenities are all in the apartment but some are quirky. If it's warm you will have the window unit on the whole time as it is the source of ventilation of you don't have the window open to the porch. Porch is cute. Bed is hard but did feel like memory foam. You do have to bring bags upstairs and Park behind the building. Tub would be a challenge if you are older or have mobility issues. All in all we were happy with the stay and it was quiet on a nice street.

Convenient, comfortable stay in walkable area

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely apartment in Portland! We made good use out of the fridge, Keurig, and toaster in the mini kitchenette, which was so convenient. The outdoor area was really great also! This location is great and we walked everywhere, it was so convenient to have the parking space. We would definitely return!

A great place to stay, close to everything. No need to use your car you can walk everywhere. Great restaurants, breweries, and quaint shops. Nice places to get a good walk in. Very clean and comfortable bed! Would definitely stay there again!

All You Need

We found room to have more than adequate space Located in an historic building in west end of Portland. Quiet area away from busy downtown. Felt very safe and secure entry requiring 2 codes to get inside. The fact there is a guaranteed parking spot was worth it as Portland parking is a nightmare. Location perfect and easy walk to downtown. We enjoyed also eating at Wayside Tavern, Bayside American cafe, Tandem Bakery and make sure you go to Top of The East in the Westin for a cocktail and spectacular sunset. Apt. 2 is highly recommended and Jennifer and Caitlin responded to our inquiries immediately.

Perfect Portland Location

Currently residing on the beautiful East End in Portland, it is such a pleasure to have discovered that over the last decade or so this neighborhood has grown into a wonderfully diverse, safe, and welcoming community. I love being able to walk to brunch and to the market! I desperately missed those outings, living in the car-centered culture of Los Angeles. It's been a wonderful experience meeting and hosting people from all over the world who are visiting Portland!
