Discover the perfect getaway on the beautiful Placencia Peninsula. Completed in October 2023, this exquisite property is nestled in the highly sought-after Maya Beach area. While you'll be within walking distance of many great shops and restaurants, you'll feel worlds away from everything with a prime, private location directly on an 81-foot stretch of pristine, white-sand beach. This remarkable property boasts a range of amenities that are rarely found in a rental of this scale. Enjoy the ultimate relaxation in your own private pool that overlooks the mesmerizing Caribbean Sea. Multiple outdoor patio areas seamlessly blend indoor and outdoor living, including a covered rooftop space and a rooftop BBQ area complete with a fridge and sink. For water enthusiasts, you'll find excellent snorkeling right off the beach, and we provide kayaks and outdoor games like Bocce Ball and Bean Bag Toss (cornhole) for your enjoyment.

The home includes two oceanfront primary suites, each equipped with private bathrooms and air-conditioning. Notably, one of the bedroom suites is entirely separate from the other, making it an ideal choice for two couples seeking an unforgettable vacation. The property features three full bathrooms, as well as an outdoor open-air beach shower, perfect for rinsing off the sea salt and sand from your feet.

Placencia Airport is only five miles away and the village of Placencia is around seven miles from the home.

All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am.

Beautiful house and property

We had a great week at White Sands. No big issues and little ones were quickly handled by local manager. The house has all you need including well supplied kitchen, plenty of linens, kayaks, pool, rooftop patio/grill and wonderful beach and lounge chairs. This is our 2nd year in Placencia and we will definitely try to return the White Sands

White Sands was a dream!

White sand is accommodating to family’s and friends traveling. Beach front with beautiful sand. There are 2 king beds but also a pull out couch which would fit 2 adults or 3 small kids. The area felt very safe and close to town where you can find resultants and shopping. This place really has everything you need for a great vacation. We will be back.

Great place!

We loved this place! Perfect for two couples. The only thing I would say is they really need to communicate with guests about a good day to come and do pool cleaning and maintenance. We had been gone for two days on excursions and the one day we were back for a pool hang out day they wanted to come and add chemicals. We understand that it needs to be done it just would have been nice if we could have chosen the days we were gone. The book in the home says not to refuse pool cleaning. A little communication with guests at the beginning would solve this! Staff was very helpful and kind and always willing to help with any questions. We truly loved this place and would recommend to anyone!

Our local manager has confirmed that the pool is done on Thursday or Friday every other week. Also, they will get a hairdryer for the home to use. White Sands Beach House

Great house for 2 couples; we loved it and Maya Beach! Only complaint about the house was the kitchen trashcan was the size of a small bath trashcan, and there were 4 of us for one week! That didn’t work at all! Good restaurant options in Maya Beach - highly recommend renting a golf cart to get around & into the village. We weren’t told that before but it is a long, hot dark walk for cocktails/dinner to all but a couple of restaurants. Sunset is early (6 ish). We got lucky to be able to rent a golf cart for 4 days. Excursion to Xunantunich & Jaguar Paw cave tubing was wonderful, just need a whole day (several hours’ drive). The Vacasa concierge service was awesome & we had an incredible tour guide. Bring lots of cash to Belize; the ATM machines rarely worked for us everywhere we went! Belize is still a cash economy.

Water provided

We assumed if there is a water dispenser that the water from the tap was not drinkable water. The two of us went thru one jug of water and asked for another and was told they provide only one, well we found one at the store, good thing we had a car, and the water was $3 bucks US. Also you provide washer/dryer, no soap provided. Little things make a difference. FYI

Great location

We’ve stayed in Placencia about 5 different times in our travels to wonderful Belize. Our travel was messed up due to airline BS and wished we could have spent more nights. The house leaves nothing to question. Everting is noted, labeled and ready to go. Management is very easy to communicate and very knowledgeable of the property. We had rainy days but still took some time to walk out on the short beach to the warm ocean water. Had it been not raining, the pool is a deal maker. We did use it but Mother Nature limited us. It is a minimalist type of design while needing nothing. Nice to have a toaster/ blender/ sharp knife’s/extra TP and paper towels etc. I have seen those are not a given with many properties. It’s a short walk or drive to one of my favorite restaurants in the area(The Bistro maya beach) B/L/D it’s all amazing so if you don’t want to explore around much you are safe with good food and people. The area is very safe. The locals welcome you presence and are proud that you live their home area as well. So much to love about Belize!!

Pleasant stay

Staying at the White Sands Beach House with friends was a good experience. The property met our expectations, providing a comfortable and enjoyable environment. The bedrooms were notably spacious, offering enough room for all of us, and their design was practical yet pleasing. We found the bathrooms to be well-appointed, complementing the overall functionality and aesthetic of the house. The kitchen and communal spaces served as the focal points of our group activities, equipped with everything we needed for our stay. One of the best parts of the property was the pool area, where we spent a great deal of time. It was well-maintained, and the adjacent changing room with a shower was a convenient addition. Although we didn't use the rooftop deck, it seemed like a nice option for relaxation. However, there are areas that could see improvement. The comfort of the outdoor chairs was lacking, and the limited number of sun loungers (only two) sometimes made it challenging for all of us to relax by the pool simultaneously. The location of the beach house was ideal for us. It was close enough to the village to enjoy local amenities but far enough to avoid noise and enjoy peace. The nearby dining options were a plus, offering a variety of choices. In summary, our stay at the White Sands Beach House was enjoyable and met our needs for a group vacation. While there are minor areas for improvement, they didn't significantly detract from our overall experience. The property's maintenance and the peaceful yet accessible location would make us consider staying here again.

We have added two more un loungers with 3-inch high-density foam cushions as well as cotton covers for your peace of mind. So there are now 4 in total.
