Cozy. Charming. Convenient
Designed by a counselor to be a 'calm, relaxing space', this thoughtfully designed home gives you the space to breathe and relax with the convenience of a few minutes walk to downtown. And of course, since your pets are family too, one well-behaved furr-baby is invited to stay with you for an additional pet fee of $25 daily. (if you would like to bring you pet, click on the 'TRAVELERS' box with your reservation dates and check 'PET' so that your pet is included in the reservation! :). )
This is a great space for families and friends to connect and make memories.
WHY YOU WILL LOVE THIS SPACE:
Relax and experience all that Silverton has to offer from this historic 2 bed, 2.5 bath professionally landscaped craftsman style home.
Situated just a few blocks walk to the center of town and within a short drive to Silver Falls State Park, the Oregon Garden and the many Willamette Valley wineries, this historic craftsman style home is a real charmer in a great location.
Thoughtfully and lovingly renovated with sweet touches, you will enjoy bright and comfortable spaces while still getting that cozy yet complete feeling of home. Previous guests enjoy:
- savoring morning coffee at the bistro set by the window
- preparing meals in the fully equipped kitchen
- relaxing on the front porch in the Adirondack chairs people watching
- grilling and eating on the outdoor deck
- chilling and chatting with friends around the outdoor fire pit
- gathering in the cozy living room with family to watch a movie or play one of the many available board games.
This home exudes warmth and tranquility.
A dedicated work space, away from the bedrooms and with its own bathroom, allows privacy and quiet for guests who need to mix a bit of work in while staying at the home. Airy and calm, it's designed to help you focus and yet still feel relaxed and at ease.
SPACE SPECIFICS:
This 1917 Craftsman Style home offers 2 upstairs bedrooms, each with a queen bed. These rooms share a large 2-sink full bath with shower/tub.
On the main level is the living room with smart TV, games and books, and a window nook with bistro table. This space flows into the dining area and a large half bath.
Off of the dining room, the dedicated office space is perfect for quiet down time. This area is bright and cozy, complete with desk, smart TV, a papasan chair, and attached full bath.
The large full kitchen flows off of the dining room as well. Fully equipped, this kitchen offers ample storage and work space, stainless steel appliances including dish washer; toaster, Keurig coffee maker; electric hot water kettle; cooking and baking essentials; dish ware and utensils. A grill is available on the back deck.
The back deck is accessed by passing through the mud room (which has a new washer/dryer and iron w/board).
Adirondack chairs can be enjoyed on the covered front porch; the back attached deck has a grill and seating area with umbrella; the mostly fenced-in back yard has seating around a fire pit (guest supplies wood). Long driveway can accommodate 3 vehicles.
The home features central air and portable fans to augment separate upstairs heat/cooling pump for those really hot summer days.
Guest access
Guests experience contactless check-in and check-out. Access is via key code and I make myself available via the app and text if you have questions.
Other things to note
Due to the age of the plumbing system, please ONLY flush toilet paper down toilets. Please do not flush ANY wipes, Kleenex or sanitary products as these can lead to unpleasant and costly backups.
Fire wood is supplied by the guests and is available at local grocery stores.
**PETS
Our dogs are family as well, so they are welcome at the Charmer. One dog up to 50 pounds may be present during your stay for an additional pet fee of $25 nightly. If your dog is coming with you, you MUST include him/her when noting the number of guests on your reservation in the TRAVELERS box.
I want everyone to enjoy the yard, so thank you for picking up any pet droppings.
