This beautiful owner built, strawbale home is situated in a quiet area only 5 minutes from downtown Fallbrook, local wineries and fantastic local restaurants.
With over two acres of land all to yourself, there won’t be any need to leave. Wake up to ducks, egret, heron and countless other birds while you sip your morning coffee on the covered front porch. Enjoy the great outdoors with a BBQ under a canopy of oak trees, a round of disc golf and a relaxing nap on a hammock. In the evening, experience stargazing to the calming hum of frogs while enjoying the warmth of the fire pit and outdoor heater.
Or come sit out by the stream and watch the kids having fun catching tadpoles, frogs, crawfish, and turtles, and exploring the nature around.
We invite you to explore our growing food forest walking path and pick fresh fruit and veggies along your way.
After a long day outdoors come inside and enjoy the many indoor amenities as well. When entering this unique, new home you will immediately notice the 2ft thick walls and plentiful windows. The open living area features a 65” HD TV, 30+ board games, sleeping nook and spiral staircase. The master bedroom offers a luxurious King bed with an attached bedroom with triple bunk bed and plenty of toys to entertain the smaller members of your group. A spiral staircase leads to the loft that overlooks the main living area with another queen bed, foldout floor bed and desk.
Our kitchen is fully stocked to make your stay as easy as possible. All essentials are available including cooking oil, large variety of spices, some condiments, snacks, cooking utensils, bakeware etc.
Fully fenced 2+ acres with automatic gate and parking for 3-4 cars in the driveway and additional street parking.
We request that no shoes be worn in the home.
Pets cannot me left unattended in the home. Pets are not allowed on furniture or bedding. Pets not allowed in upstairs loft space.
There is no dishwasher in the home. Drying rack, soap and sponge provided.
Main floor bedroom has barn doors separating king bed from bunk room.
Also, please note, stair access only for this home including a spiral staircase to access the open loft. Not handicap accessible as it is a raised home.
Please do not enter the pond and use caution when exploring remote areas of the property. Do not leave children unattended outside. We do have wildlife frequently visit our property due to our pond.
Also, please note, loft is open to the downstairs with no wall separating spaces.

Great getaway vacation!
The original property had a plumbing issue and at the last minute wasn’t going to be available. However the host had another property very close and it was perfect. My wife and I enjoyed the home as well as the expansive property and surroundings! We appreciated the hospitality and will come back at a later date!

Perfect Location!
This is the perfect location for you in the rolling hills of Fallbrook CA. Not too far from Oceanside or Carlsbad and has the peace a quiet of the avocado country side. A short drive and you are at the Oceanside pier or downtown Fallbrook checking out the art district.
The property is expansive with an abundance of space including several sitting areas, hammock, bridge over a stream and a pond full of wildlife. The property is a nature lovers dream with several species of fruit trees and flowers.
The house is clean, and perfect for the entire group, we had 3 little kids with us. The kitchen and bathroom are well maintained and updated for the best conveniences. The beds are extremely comfortable. This is a hidden gem and we really are happy to have had the opportunity to stay here! Will definitely return!
