Captain's Cove. Cozy cabin in the Village of Shaver Lake. Pet friendly!

Come enjoy a wonderful family cabin located in walking the village of Shaver Lake and only two miles from the lake itself. This cabin has four bedrooms and two bathrooms, accommodating 12 people. Two bedrooms are located on the ground floor for the convenience of those who have difficulty climbing stairs. Each bedroom and living room has a smart T.V. with WiFi so you can enjoy your favorite streaming channels. Dogs are welcome, this cabin has a dog run and is located within walking distance of many local trails to enjoy with your four legged friend. There is plenty of parking that is deep enough for a boat and trailer. Come and enjoy the beauty of the Sierra Nevada Wilderness located only 55 minutes from Fresno and only 90 minutes from Yosemite National Park.

The cabin is beautiful and so peaceful. We used the outside patio and even though there are other cabins in the way, the views are still beautiful. We had a party of 10 and we all fit perfectly in the rooms available. It is walking distance to the local stores and restaurant. The host was right on time with all the information needed and provided us with information and phone number in case of any issues. I will definitely recommend this cabin.

Captains Cove is Fantastic!

This home is outstanding! It was exactly as advertised. Everything was extremely clean and up to date. The dog run on the side of the house is very big ,clean and accommodating for your fury friend they even a waste bag dispenser and waste basket. The front porch is very bug an accommodating, its even long enough for a game of cornhole! The bedrooms have very comfortable beds, they cabin is air conditioned for the warm days. The host is very responsive and answered my questions within seconds. Plenty of parking and the neighborhood is very quiet and friendly. I highly recommend this home. I will be returning in the near future.

Such an enjoyable week

My husband and I hosted our daughter’s families to a week in this mountain cabin and were not disappointed. Checkin was easy and there were plenty of comfortable beds for all. The kitchen isn’t huge, but was supplied with nice appliances and plenty of dishware for our crew. Towels and linens were high quality. Location was quiet but still very close to markets. The dog yard provided a nice place for our dog to romp around in a safe fenced space. The homes insulation was great and the heating was very efficient. We never used the fireplace. We would definitely return to this home next visit to Shaver.

Great Location and Property

It was the perfect spot. Close to town and an easy drive to the ski resort. Multiple bedrooms worked perfectly for 3 couples to have their own space. Highly recommend.

Great place to stay

It was easy entry, wonderful directions were given prior to arrival and the place was equipped with many necessities to help with our stay. Very pet friendly as there is an enclosed area for dogs to run around. The only thing that I could say would be an improvement is to include instructions for the oven, dishwasher and list what some light switches go to. I would definitely recommend staying here and would stay here again.

Captains Cove

Very clean and updated, well stocked with dishes pots/pans towels paper products etc.. Especially appreciated the A/C and wifi. Great neighborhood, short walk to town. Ideal, would highly recommend.

Great for families

This was a perfect cabin for a shaver getaway! It was close to some restaurants and the lake! Also I loved the gates in backyard space to take my dog to go potty.
