La Maison des Cochers - Apartamento en el 2 ° piso.

Te encantará este apartamento de 1 dormitorio decorado con buen gusto (ubicado en el segundo piso de la casa, hay un apartamento por piso). Una casa del siglo XVIII, que combina estilos antiguos y nuevos para (lo que creemos que es) un resultado de buen gusto. Hemos prestado especial atención a la comodidad de nuestros huéspedes al elegir elementos tan esenciales como las camas y los muebles.
Ubicado en una zona tranquila de la calle principal peatonal (rue Nationale). A poca distancia de todo lo que hace de Amboise una excelente ciudad de vacaciones.
- Sitios históricos: la iglesia del siglo XIII St Denis, el castillo real de Amboise, hogar de François 1er y otros reyes de Francia, el Clos Lucé, la última residencia de Leonardo da Vinci y las calles históricas del centro histórico.
- Restaurantes gourmet, excelente mercado semanal al aire libre a orillas del Loira, con especialidades locales: quesos, vinos, carnes y productos locales.
- Panadería, quiosco, supermercado (abierto de 7 a.m. a 10 p.m.) de lunes a sábado, delicatessen, boutiques.

Durante los meses de verano, la ciudad es una colmena de actividad: mercados nocturnos al aire libre, artistas callejeros, exposiciones de artistas locales, piscina al aire libre en la cercana Ile d'or.

Un corto viaje lo llevará a: el castillo de Chenonceau, el castillo de Chambord ... (todos los castillos principales del valle del Loira).

A fabulous stay

Quaint, centrally located character apartment in the heart of Amboise. Walking distance everywhere in the main post of town. Literally 10 steps from a fabulous boulangerie and right on the main street.

The apartment was perfect! Exactly as advertised. It was right in the centre of Amboise on the main pedestrian street, with easy access to everything. Pascale was terrific and very responsive. Highly recommend the place. Thanks so much.

We loved this property for its location, cleanliness, and the attentiveness of the owner, Pascale. There are two flights of stairs to go up, but even with heavy, wine filled suitcases, we didn’t find them too difficult. If you’re driving there are several options within easy walking distance of the apartment. We would absolutely stay here again!

Great apartment in Amboise

This was a great apartment in central Amboise, ideal as a base for exploring the Loire Valley. The flat has everything you need for a holiday with a bakery opposite, great restaurants and a Carrefour local supermarket close by. Pascale is the perfect host and the whole stay was very relaxing. Strongly recommend!

Great apartment close to centre

The apartment is lovely, stylishly decorated with everything you need. It is a five minute walk from the centre of Amboise, which is great, near to everything, but not on top of it. Pascale was lovely, helpful and always good on the communications. She even gave us a lift from the train station. We had a fantastic stay.

Great stay.

Clean apartment in a great location in the heart of town. Modern inside a very old building with all the comforts you need. Pascale left a bottle of champagne and some fruit from her garden. She made it a point to meet us and offered any assistance. You could walk to many restaurants and parking near by.

Fabulous Ambroise Location

This is a fabulous place to call home while visiting chateaus and tasting rooms in the Loire Valley. The apartment is just as described- bright, light and airy. There are a few stairs to reach the apartment, but we quickly got comfortable with them. Pascale is a great hostess; showing us everything and readily available for any questions. We would definitely stay again on another trip to Amboise.

Great Stay for Amboise

We stayed in Amboise for three days and really appreciated the apartment hosted by Pascale! It was great to have a spot where we could cook for ourselves, but also have plenty of recommendations for meals out. The listing is exactly as described, with two flights of narrow stairs to navogate - we were fine with our two roller soluitcases and backpacks. Pascale also kindly picked us up from the train station in the impending rain and was very helpful with getting us situated at check in. We would defintiely stay in this prime location again!

This is like a brand new apartment in a 200 year old building. It is on the third floor (deuxieme etage) and has a nice view of the 15th century church. The area is VERY quiet...no cars on the street. The lighting is very bright, with lots of electrical plugs. The bed was an excellent queen size bed. There is good free parking just over a block away. Everything is easily walkable...the castle is only about an easy, flat, 10 Minute walk. There are many excellent restaurants close by. The owner, Pascale, was the perfect host, speaks perfect English, and was very helpful.

Séjour d'une semaine, accueil fort sympathique de Pascale (...avec un excellent Vouvray au frais!) Appartement très bien agencé, clair, propre et fonctionnel. En étage (escalier raide) donc pas accessible PMR. Très bien situé: rue calme (pour la période retenue), parking du Mail proche et gratuit... mais fermé le jour de marché), proche des commerces et surtout des sites touristiques que nous avions ciblés (Châteaux de la Loire) Séjour inoubliable, appartement à conseiller. Sweet apartment

The hostess is perfect and the apartment has it all. Parking is a challenge but solvable. There are many good restaurants in Amboise that are all close by. Amboise is very well located for exploring the various chateau.

As good as it looks

I confirm the apartment is as shown in the pictures. Actually it is better, light and airy, and the bathroom is quite large. It is quite comfortable and the dishwasher and clothes washer/dryer are great to have. Rue Nationale is both quiet and a main pedestrian road - most of the foot traffic and restaurants are a couple of blocks away.. Bonus, there is also a shop just two blocks away that sells both meats and nicely prepared dishes for takeaway - easy dinner. And Pascal is a welcoming as many have noted. Great place and location, fairly easy to get to the many chateaus, this place is highly recommended. Oh, and market days are not to be missed.

Lovely apartment in perfect location.

This apartment was very comfortable with everything we needed during our stay. It is exactly as it looks in the photos. It is also located at the quiet end of the main pedestrian thoroughfare, so the restaurants, cafes and the castle were easily accessible but there was little noise after 10pm at night (there are a few restaurants close by). Pascale met us close by and ensured our car was parked in a free parking area. She also provided us with information about the local restaurants and shops. We absolutely recommend this lovely apartment and would happily stay here again.

Quiet and comfort in an ideal location.

From the moment we reserved until Pascale dropped us off at the train station for Paris, we found this stay ideal. The apartment was spotless, well-equipped, quiet, and the perfect location from which to explore Amboise and nearby areas. Pascale was a welcoming and helpful host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

A great place in central Amboise. Pascal is a wonderful hostess.

This is a real gem in Amboise located on the Main Street between the Loire River and the Amboise Château. Great restaurants and sights near by. Pascale couldn’t have been nicer, picking us up and taking us to the train station. Highly recommend.

Perfect Location!

La Maison des Cochers is a short walk to everything we wanted. We parked our rental car (in a free spot) and never took it out for the 4 days were in Amboise. Everything was close at hand. The apartment is roomy, bright and well equipped...very comfortable. Pascale greeted us when we arrived and made sure we knew where everything was and how everything worked. She was very welcoming and answered all our questions. Wonderful host. We would stay here again and highly recommend it. Rod and Wendy
