We had a couples/friends trip to visit Austin and this property was a wonderful location. We were able to drive to the 'hot spots', walk to a grocery store and relax in the beautiful back yard with the pool. This is a wonderful property!

Relaxing retreat

Our family of 5 enjoyed our time in Austin, especially this beautiful and relaxing home. The house has all of the comforts of home, lots of amenities and was close to everything! FANTASTIC ACL WEEKEND!

I celebrated my birthday at ACL this year and Suzanne's home was the perfect place. We had several couples staying at the house and we were able to really settle in and make it a home base for the weekend. Her house is beautiful and well arranged for having couples stay with their own private bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and of course the pool area is perfect for a pre-festival swim. The location is good and quiet and not too far from the local Barton Springs market to pick up some essential things. Without a car, I'd recommend renting a bike to get to the festival because if you want to come/go through the day it can become a long walk the second or third time. Suzanne is a great host and was kind enough to connect me with her neighbor for helping us find another rental home. She even lent us some umbrellas and chairs. All in all, I highly recommend her house for ACL... although I think I might want first dibs on it every year now!

Thanks again for the review and we are very happy you enjoyed your ACL weekend! Just to clarify, even if you have a car, you can't drive to the festival from the house because you are already so close and the roads are blocked. Most of the festivals attendees park on our street/neighborhood to walk to the festival. We are literally "on top" of the festival. The proximity of our house to the park allows for you to come and go from the festival as you want to either take a swim, have a drink, or just get away from the festival as you desire. The walk is 9 minutes from our door to the entrance of the festival. A bike isn't necessary but certainly an option if you prefer not to walk. There are several bike rental locations right on Barton Springs Rd by the festival that you can walk to.

Wonderful family gathering

My family gathered in Austin at Suzanne's for Christmas week. The house and the location was ideal. The house inside and out is wonderfully equipped for relaxing and catching up. The location is also perfect for walks to Barton Springs and many Austin restaurants. Thank you from all of us!

Great House in Beautiful Location

We loved our stay. We had 9 ladies and enough space for all of us. We are all in our 30s so weren’t looking for a full party house, but something nice and close to town with a pool. This fit the bill. There is a pull out and a full bed so be prepared to share there, but everything was wonderful. We spent a lot of time in the pool and extremely grateful that there’s a lot of shade in the backyard. There are a few floaties already, and the kitchen was a great gathering space.

Weekend in Austin

The weather did not quite cooperate, but the rental did not disappoint! The check in process was seamless and the house was clean and welcoming from the start. It was so nice to have bathrooms off of all of the bedrooms. We enjoyed staying in Zilker and wish we were able to explore the surrounding area more!

Vacation with the grandkids!

It was the perfect setting for our family vacation to explore all that Austin had to offer. The home was spacious, wonderfully appointed, with a backyard oasis/pool that we so enjoyed after the days adventures! Would most certainly return and occupy again and recommend to our friends!

Fantastic ACL experience in the best house around

Although this house sleeps 10, we only had 4.....and we loved every minute in this gorgeous house. Suzanne made us feel so at home and was available if we needed anything, which we did not. We couldn't have enjoyed our stay more!

Beautiful home, spacious, & comfortable!

We loved our stay at this house! The home offered a comfortable spot for everyone and privacy. The house was incredibly kept and clean. A huge plus was the fantastic interior design - wow! The owner (Suzanne) is very thorough and goes above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and have what you need. Although we were in town for business, this home offered us a place to retreat to and relax after a long day. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly, and the house is a short distance from downtown Austin and dining options. I highly recommend this home, we had a great experience!

Great home with great owner.

The home was beautiful and well maintained. It was perfect for our family football weekend. We had 6 adults and 2 children and never felt cramped. The pool was shaded, cool, and relaxing for the adults and the kids loved it, too. Suzanne was most accommodating and even lined us up with Chef Maurice and his wife who prepared and served a fabulous, in-house, Friday night birthday feast so that we could spend family time together and not battle the crowds. Chef Maurice was very complimentary of Suzanne's kitchen, dining areas, and other food-related amenities. I have rented at least 15 properties in Austin and this is my favorite. I will rent this home again when I have a large enough group to fill it up.

Great home & great location

We enjoyed a great family wedding weekend in Austin. Close to Barton Creek Country Club & Smith's Family Chapel. Nice to have a place to meet family, visit & play games and then be able to attend the wedding festivities as well. Host was wonderful and contacted us prior to our arrival. No issues. Would lease again. Great experience.
