The house was very clean and comfortable. There were kayaks, a canoe, and stand up paddle board available (we didn't use them). Fishing gear was available too. Tucker, the friendly dog nextdoor, greeted us with a rubber chicken in his mouth when we drove up! We visited the Panhandle Butterfly House in Milton, Blackwater River State Forest in Munson, and Navarre Beach.

This is my favorite property that we have stayed at in this area. The setting on the river is so peaceful and relaxing, and we felt immersed in nature and didn’t feel the need to go anywhere else. The indoor furnishings have a casual but upscale vibe, and we loved the outdoor area at ground level under the house (which is on stilts) with an TV, grill, mini fridge, picnic table, hammock, and extra chairs, perfect for game day! The house is well stocked with whatever you would need including kitchen items and books and games. We had fun kayaking and swimming on the river, which is one of the cleanest in the US. The host was very responsive and communicative with instructions. Fantastic experience!

This was my favorite VRBO by far the river, the hummingbird, the couple nextdoor and of course tucker that greeted each day he made me miss my dog less. The house looked brand new it was so clean I'm so sorry I could not leave same ended up in hospital last 3days but stay was perfect I had my sister visit they enjoyed the view as much as I did my nephew enjoy the paddle boards and didn't want to go home at nite I loved the view and Peace. Thank you for sharing your slice of heaven with us and it's convenient to everything. Thank you

Beautiful property with great amenities! The home was clean and well-stocked with necessities. We enjoyed sitting on the upper porch and the dock. The lower level was breezy and comfortable in the afternoon and evening.

Beautiful setting and house!

Peaceful setting with up to date decor and furniture. Very clean and easy access. The host was very helpful and responsive.

The perfect staycation

We live in the Milton area and wanted to do something different for our anniversary, so we booked this river house to celebrate 15 years of marriage. Our kids age raged from 9 months to 14 years old and all of their needs were met and they were able to each enjoy the stay. There were a lot of first at the river house. My 5 year old first time canoeing, and our boys had a blast paddle boarding. The home is meticulously cleaned which gave me peace of mind letting the baby be on the floo. We even set up the provided pac n play on the porch and relaxed and watched the older kids fishing off the dock with their Dad. We loved our time there and plan on spending many more staycations there.
