Esta magnífica casa fue construida en 2004. Tiene un plano de planta abierto con una decoración cálida y acogedora y hermosas vistas desde la gran sala grande iluminada por el sol. La playa prístina está a un corto paseo por el sendero de la playa al lado de la casa, sin calles que cruzar.

La gran sala cuenta con un techo abovedado con vigas de madera y una chimenea de gas. Dos puertas de patio francesas se abren a una gran nueva cubierta de Trex con una mesa y sillas donde se puede disfrutar de la hermosa vista con su café de la mañana.

El comedor ofrece una gran mesa y sillas confortables. Hay una cocina excepcional con armarios a medida. electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable, refrigerador de vino, mostradores de granito, y un bar hacen preparación de la comida una brisa. Es bien equipada para cualquier cocinero. El lavadero de arriba ofrece una lavadora y secadora.

Tres master suites (2 King, 1 Queen) - cada uno con acceso a amplias cubiertas tienen diversas amenidades como una bañera de hidromasaje y una ducha a ras de suelo con doble cabezal doble. 4 º dormitorio tiene dos camas y su propio baño y terraza. Un segundo salón puede ser utilizado como una oficina o quinto dormitorio con un sofá-cama y cama nido.

El entretenimiento interior es proporcionado por televisores en cada habitación. Hay una consola Playstation 4 en la sala de estar grande y una Consola XBox en la oficina / quinto dormitorio.

The house was very clean and spacious. There was plenty of room for everyone in the common areas and more than enough room for everyone to spread out. The decks were our favorite places to hang out and see the stars, get some sun, or overlook the pool. The host was very responsive and answered any questions I had quickly. We had ages from 66-9 months and it was great for everyone. There are about 4 flights of stairs to get from the garage to the kitchen, living areas, and one of the bedrooms, so keep that in mind if anyone struggles with stairs. The stairs took some getting used to, but by the end of the week we didn’t notice them as much.The pool was great. With 3 under 5, we appreciated that it was fenced in and still visible from one of the decks. There was plenty of room for the kids to play in the yard and ride their bikes around. The walk to the beach wasn’t bad at all. There were a couple of beach wagons in the storage room that were a big help with getting chairs, tents, and a cooler to the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying again next year!

Our stay was so nice! The host had quick communication and the house was so clean. It was also so nice that beach gear was there so we didn’t have to bring any! A huge thank you! We weren’t expecting there to be so many stairs but we made it work. It was a great stay!

Wonderful house! Everything was clean and set up with anything you'll need. The pool was great and the walk to the beach is very short when using the trail. The communication with the owner was excellent and checking in and out were both super simple. We plan on coming back to this house next year!

Thanksgiving weekend trip

We had a very nice holiday weekend stay. The house was well-equipped, and we especially appreciated the welcome package the host left us. Vlad was very accommodating and quick to respond to any questions or problems we had. I would highly recommend it and look forward to being able to stay again.

End of July vacay

Located in the Plantation, a little bit of a drive to get to Apalachicola, but not bad. Easy beach access. House is comfortable, but as others have mentioned it could use some refreshing. Pool was a good size for our group of nine. PM was quick to help with any issues. Very relaxing place to stay and affordable compared to Anna Maria Is!

As good as it gets!

Great beach vacation! Everything was as stated in listing! Short walk to beach with some crab sightings that our grandchildren loved! Tons shells at beach saw dolphins everyday, house had everything we needed. Bikes, beach chairs, plenty of space for 6 adults and 2 littles! Loved St. George island very laid back, not super crowded, we brought our dog, island is extremely dog friendly can take them to dinner with you. Most relaxed vacation we have had at beach. Pool was so nice to take break from waves. Vlad was very responsive with all our questions! The only recommendation I have is to bring bug spray for the no see’ems, flys and mosquitos. Or buy some at the local piggly wiggly. Cannot go wrong with renting this house!

First Trip to St. George Island

This was our first trip to St. George Island. If you are looking for a very quiet, not many people vacation, St. George Island is your place. Two families stayed at this house. It is important to know that there are a lot of stairs. You enter on the ground and walk up two flights of stairs before you get to the first master and three other bedrooms. The office room with a trundle does pull out and does not have a bathroom attached to it. There is a half bath close to the office that anyone can quickly use who stays in that room. The two masters were perfect for each adult couple. On the top floor is the main living area and other Master Bedroom/Laundry. The house is a 5 min. walk on paths to the beach. The pool is amazing! Best part of this property! The outdoor shower is also awesome. The beach was often too windy or buggy to be at so we hung out at the pool a lot. This house is completely fine but could use some updates. We both walked and biked to the Clubhouse pool. It was a 10 min. drive to get into town. The house is located 4 miles into the Plantation neighborhood. The owner was responsive to any questions or concerns.

Fantastic beach house

We loved everything about as good as it gets. Quiet neighborhood with very little traffic, lovely bike paths everywhere so we rode everyday. Love biking so much that we rented three more bikes so we had 6 for all of us to ride together each day. Beach is an easy walk from ghe house with a flat path and no stairs. Very nice people we encountered on the beach but really it’s so quiet and few people on the beach that some day we had it to our selves. House had everything we needed. Had one minor issue and owner responded with a phone call within minutes. Would definitely stay again.

Fantastic house

Beautiful and well-maintained house, especially spacious living room and kitchen area with large windows and a nice deck. Very easy access to the beach. Nice amenities on plantation (fitness room, tennis and pickleball courts). Owner was super-responsive and made everything a breeze.

50th Army Reunion

Four couples stayed at "As Good As It Gets" for 5 full days ,and we had a wonderful time. Each couple had a bedroom and bath with a porch off each room. After our morning exercise, we all hit the pool. Since the afternoons are still hot in September, we gathered at the dining room table and played games. The kitchen was well equipped. I appreciated having two coffee pots since I was the lone decaf drinker. The house could benefit from some maintenance. The bifold closet door in one bedroom came off the track. A hinge on one kitchen cabinet was coming loose. It also could use a deep cleaning. But, I would rent the house again as both the owner and the property management company were very responsive when called.

Great home for multigenerational family

Stayed a week with family aged 2-78. The house accommodated everyone with private bathrooms and patios for each bedroom. Nicely equipped for infant and lots of beach accessories. The only issue was a missing screen on the porch and it was fixed in less than 24 hrs - great response! There is no elevator so make sure everyone can do stairs - kitchen / family room is on the top floor! Great place, beautiful neighborhood, not crowded beach with shallow sand bar. I wish we could have taken advantage of the wonderful walking/biking trails in neighborhood but it was way too hot.

Loved “As Good As It Gets”

Very nice house with great layout for 6 adults and 4 children. Short walk to the beach on the nature trail was fine for all (even the 3 year old). Pool area was fantastic.

Family Beach Trip

We had a short walk to the beach and a private pool that was plenty big. The house was stocked with everything we needed to cook at home and we were in a beautiful part of the plantation. The drive in is gorgeous. Everything was freshly cleaned when we arrived and beds were very comfortable. We loved St George and will definitely be back soon!

We live in Roswell, GA, a suburb of Atlanta. We visit our beach house about 3-4 times a year and regret leaving it each time we have to go back to our busy lives in the big city.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

We first discovered the natural beauty and the pristine beaches of St George Island in 2011. We purchased our house in the Spring of 2013 - both of us had immediately agreed that "this one is for us" after only glancing at the pictures.

The Island offers a unique combination of uncrowded beaches, no high rises, great fishing, and an overall Old Florida feel that is becoming harder and harder to find.

We chose the Plantation for the added security of the 24-hour gated access, beautiful native vegetation, and park-like landscape maintenance. The Plantation also has special building restrictions and protective covenants to ensure very low building density. Having underground utility lines is a big plus as well.

Our house is one of the relatively newer ones built in the Plantation (2004), and up to the highest coastal construction standards. It has high grade Andersen windows and doors, a new Trex second level deck, custom kitchen cabinetry, new SS appliances. There is quality trim and finishes throughout.

We love our beach house and try our best to make sure that it is always in an excellent condition.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

A beautiful, secluded white-sand beach for long walks, shelling, or just playing in the sand. Gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. An unbelievably clear night sky (when was the last time you saw the Milky Way in the city?). A private, heated pool and a hot tub for relaxing after a day at the beach.

The Plantation has a great new clubhouse with a three quarter Olympic size community swimming pool, shaded picnic area, and fitness room. Amenities also include three tennis courts, a privately owned/public use landing strip, and access to excellent fishing at Bob Sike's Cut. The are plenty of paved paths for bicyclists, jogging and walking enthusiasts.

St. George is close to historic Apalachicola, a quaint old town with art galleries, gift stores, restaurants, and the best oysters in the world.
