Graduation weekend

We had a great time and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again. We needed a place to stay for our daughter’s graduation at Salve and the distance was perfect. Very clean and the beds were comfortable too Thank you

Cute house and great host!

There were four good size bedrooms that were perfect for my friends and I, and the kitchen was beautiful. Loved the enclosed backyard. Host was very communicative and helpful. Great stay!

Newport trip

Solid house in good location relative to downtown Newport. Bedrooms were nice. No central AC but each room had window units. Backyard is also nice and spacious.

Very nice

We had a very nice time here. Could have been a little cleaner (lots of cobwebs in the kitchen windows ) but for the most part, the house was well taken care of. Love that the Christmas decorations were left up. It was spacious for the 9 of us who stayed there. (4 adults, 5 kids) The owner was very friendly and available for contact when needed.

New to Newport

The house was in a great location and had ample parking. I absolutely enjoyed my stay and would definitely ask to stay again. My favorite spot was the back deck. It has a beautiful back yard! Some things worth mentioning: it needs pots and pans as it had very few. The bath towels are microfiber so they rolled and stuck to you so we used our beach towels. There is only 1 tv and it is hard to hear if the window unit air was running. The owner was very helpful and quick to respond. I enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend this house to anyone looking to stay in the Newport area.

Commercial setting rental

The location pinpointed on the VRBO site was NOT where the rental was. The owner wouldnt provide the address in advance of our stay. Red flag! In fact i had to email her 4 days before our checkin date to finally get details. The house was clean enough, but come with your own sheets, towels and cleaning materials. Also one of the beds broke the first night. When we contacted the owner someone came to supposedly fix it, but it broke down again.The owner offered no compensation or return of funds. Overall, i wouldnt recommend this location.

The house is a split level ranch and while it has some updates, it is also somewhat dated. The kitchen has undergone the most renovations but it is small and not well stocked. I brought supplies to make buffalo chicken dip and I was thankful that i had aluminum trays to stir since there were no bowls. The kitchen is stocked with silverware, glasses, dishes and VERY limited cookware. Almost all the cabinets are empty and even aluminum foil or new scrub sponges werenot provided. I had read reviews so I was somewhat anxious to stay here but we took a chance since hotels for Parents Weekend were similar pricing. I agree that the house needs better cleaning, since we found trash from previous renters in the garbage cans and the place was not wiped down well. With some simple changes, we could have had a very different experience. Hopefully this feedback helps improve things for future renters.

Perfect location! 10 minute drive from downtown, 3 minute drive from the Newport winery. Quiet neighborhood, great spot. Backyard is perfect. The house was great. Comfortable couch. Kitchen was perfect, beds very comfortable. The only issue was the bathroom upstairs had some mold in the tub (on the non-stick mat and in the jets of the tub and the a/c units were also a little moldy/dusty so I didn't use it in the bedroom but it was still comfortable there. Everything else was really clean and overall was a good stay. Otherwise everything was great.
