Riverfront retreat in Sevierville Tennessee. Welcome to the Smoky River House. Nestled in an idyllic location, our rental offers modern amenities while being steps away from the West Prong Little Pigeon River. This river is known for being one of the best trout streams in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Our brand new 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath house is equipped with a full kitchen, double oven, quartz countertops, a coffee bar, pool table, shuffleboard, hot tub, and much more! Ample parking and easy to get to. You do not have to go through winding steep mountainous roads. Dollywood, Smoky Mountain National Park, Gatlinburg, and Pigeon Forge strip are a short 20 minute drive away.

I chose this rental because of the view of the river. Turns out that is only a small factor in how awesome this place is. The place is spotless, has every amenity you can think of and the host is super friendly. I have stayed in numerous rentals in the Pigeon Forge area and this is by far the best one. Will stay again in the future.

10/10 stay. Beautiful home.

Smokey River is definitely on our return list for the future. The hosts were fantastic. Great communication and friendly. We enjoyed our stay. The kids enjoyed the “garage”, which is basically a kids playroom. (The adults enjoyed it too!) Smokey River was stocked with the essentials and provided more than your typical rental, which was much appreciated! We highly recommend!

You Want to Stay Here!

This house and property exceeded all of our expectations! Kristal is an excellent communicator and stocks the best house I’ve stayed at in over 30 years of vacationing! She has thought of everything you would need to have a great vacation in the Smokey Mountains! Games for all ages, plenty of towels, tubes for the river, a FULL kitchen, hot tub, fire pit and wood, everything! Close to all activities in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, but far enough away from the hustle and bustle to relax and enjoy the outdoors! We have found our place in the Smokies to make lasting memories!

Luxury River Retreat

This luxurious farmhouse-style home offers a truly exceptional getaway experience. The combination of cozy comfort, fantastic amenities, and a serene riverfront location creates a peaceful and memorable stay. The variety of indoor and outdoor activities make for an all-in-one vacation space - with a fully equipped kitchen for intimate family meals. Amazing place!

My husband, myself, and our 3 children (2,4, & 11) stayed for a week and still weren’t ready to go home! My parents and niece were also able to come up for a few days and totally agreed that this place was awesome. So clean, thoughtful, happy, PERFECT. The spacious, fenced back yard was amazing and somewhat of a rare amenity for rentals in the area. The river is steps away which allowed for some trout fishing and peaceful visiting. The house, including kitchen and laundry, were equipped with everything we needed and more. The house was in a great location that allowed us to have plenty of options for food and grocery delivery services. Also a quick drive to all the main attractions. The neighborhood is an older, residential area but quiet and convenient. One of the highlights of the trip for our kids was when the cutest ice cream truck stopped by! That alone sold them on the location. The host was so pleasant, responsive, welcoming, and helpful. She went above and beyond to accommodate us. Whoever cleaned and prepared the space before we arrived definitely took great pride in their duties because every room was so clean and welcoming. With 2 toddlers that are always tumbling around on the floor and touching every surface, I was seriously grateful to show up to such a clean place. We’re so happy to have found this gem and can’t wait to book our next stay here!

Very Welcoming

My family and I loved this home! It had a great open floor layout and all the amenities that anyone could want. It was extremely clean and honestly could not have been cleaner. I was there for a work conference at Dollywood and it was only 10 minutes away. My boys liked fishing in the river in the back yard. The owners are amazing and super kind. There was so much thought into the decor and also starter supplies. We will definitely return.

Wonderful home

Best stay we’ve had at a VRBO. Super nice home, spacious even had a beautiful Christmas tree. Hostess was super nice. Highly recommend this beautiful home. Thank you for allowing us to stay.

Amazingly hospitably retreat!

We could not think of a single complaint. The house was immaculate in its own right, but also the appointments, decor, layout, activities, yard, river access, and more were all incredible! The owners were helpfully communicative before, during, and after our trip. We're already planning another family trip to the Smoky River House for next year.

One of the best rentals we have stayed in

The Smokey River House is one of the best properties I have stayed in. Right along the river, the views from the upper porch were wonderful! The kids/teens enjoyed the pool table, shuffle board, and bags (cornhole). Which gave the adults time to relax in the hot tub! The inside did not disappoint! Spacious living room and kitchen, comfortable beds, and soft towels, this house had it all! All within a short drive to the tourist hot spots. And Kristal was the perfect host! Couldn't ask for more in home!

AMAZING

The Smoky River House was Everything we expected and more! The pictures are exactly how the house looks in person! Everything was PERFECT including the Host! Kristal was amazing! She contacted me the day before we were to arrive and she contacted me on the day of arrival. She also contacted me during our stay to make sure everything was just perfect! She then contacted me after the fact to make sure our stay was perfect! The house was amazing and so clean and it was fully stocked with coffee and teas and creamers and plenty of brand new white fluffy towels and washcloths. Anything you could think of or need was in the house! We have been to Tennessee 11 times and this was by far one of my favorite stays! The location was smack in the middle of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg> I love the way we could use all the back roads to get to either place and we did not have to spend alot of time sitting in traffic! There were plenty of restaurants close by and convenient stores and grocery stores so we did not have to go out on the main drag! I cannot say enough about our stay! I highly recommend The Smoky River House to anyone who wants to stay in an amazing home in an amazing location! I would definately choose to stay here again! Thank you to Kristal and her husband for sharing their beautiful home with my family and myself!

Smokey River House Trip

If you are anything like me, you will spend hours trying to search for the perfect place for a family getaway. Stop your search and book this home ASAP! Everything about our stay was perfect! Kristal and Britton went out of their way to check in with us before and during our stay. They went above and beyond expectations with special touches for our family. This home looks exactly like the pictures. We were so impressed the minute we walked through the door. We loved the open kitchen and living room concept. We did lots of cooking and game playing and had plenty of room for both. The kitchen was completely stocked with everything we needed along with the bathrooms with plenty of towels and hair dryers. The house comes with two coffee makers and was completely stocked with coffee, tea, and sweeteners. We enjoyed all of the extra board games along with the garage game room that offered something for all ages. The backyard is completely fenced in with a beautiful fire pit to enjoy. We spent plenty of time relaxing in the hot tub, listening to river flow by. We could not have been more pleased with our stay and can't wait to come back again!
