We loved the Napili area and found plenty of restaurants, shops and markets near by! The property itself is so private, away from the beach traffic but just a short walk to the beach to see sea turtles right off the shore! We had the best time snorkeling that we have ever had before!

Room was very comfortable with amazing views from the lanai. We enjoyed our morning coffee and most of our meals on the lanai. Wonderful sunsets and sleeping with the sounds of the oceans made it all perfect.

Napili Shores is a peaceful, beautiful place to enjoy Maui. Our 2nd floor I Bldg room directly overlooked the lawn, tide pools and the sea with Molokai in the distance. We enjoyed floating in Napili Bay, snorkeling in nearby Kapalua Bay and morning coffee and sunset viewing from our balcony. Napili Shores staff are friendly and gracious, the grounds are lovely and the MaiTai cocktails excellent.

The property was top notch. Particularly the beautiful balcony view and nearness to beach and snorkeling. Everything needed was there and the property owner was wonderful in answering any questions we had.

Awesome View and Location

Very nice studio unit looking out to the ocean. Perfect for a couple. Great location for snorkeling and turtles galore. Easy walk to sandy beach and the Gazebo restaurant is right next door. Had a wonderful time.

Fall asleep to the sounds of the ocean.

Wonderful location right next to the water and a short walk away from a sandy beach. Loved or stay here! It is a bit of a drive from a lot of the rest of the island, but we did not mind that at all.

We had the pleasure of staying in a lovely ocean front condo at Napili Shores🌈💕🌈 We had breathtakingly beautiful views, sunsets and were able to watch whales breach, blow, and flap their tail fins from our balcony! Lovely property, very friendly staff, amazing beach, beautiful pools and delicious restaurants on the grounds. We hope to be able to stay here again soon. ❤️

We loved this condo. We could not ask for a better suite. It had all the comforts of home, beach chairs, boogie boards, snorkeling gear, But best of all was the location. We think it is the best suite at that resort We had the best views ,..sunrises, sunsets, rolling waves 24/7 right from our balcony! Everyone was very friendly and helpful!!! I could go on and on……LOVED IT & didnt want to leave it

There is no better location to enjoy Napili. My wife and I have enjoyed this unit for decades. Watching turtles and sunsets from the lanai is magical. Shower and unit in general could use some updating. Breakfast and lunch at the Gazebo are a must. The unit has new air-conditioning, but we did not need it at the end of May.

Beautiful view but dirty and dated

The location and view were amazing. However, this particular condo has not been kept up. It is dated but even worse, it was dirty.

Paradise in Paradise

It is a beyond reality experience to sleep with the sliding door wide open and listen to the relentless sound of the ocean. As the tides change, the breeze blows, the clouds pass, a rainbow appears the sun still sets right in front of you. I272 is a dream location. You are up the coast far enough to be away from the masses of people but right next to an amazing snorkeling bay full of green sea turtles. This trip we discovered that you can go to the back door of The Gazebo, breakfast place and order take out. We ate on our balcony and it was magical. If you are able to find available dates for I272 you will be blessed. Aloha

Location and view is your priority here.

I've lost count of our visits to Napili Shores (and Napili Surf) since the 1970's, and we always stay in the A or I building. So, if your "wants-needs" list includes that you see/hear/smell the ocean the entire time you are on an island - this unit should be at the top of your list. Also, Ivar (the owner) is a real sweetheart and easy to communicate with. With that said, the only thing that made me hold back a star is a touchy one for me, as I have owned a rental in a high-tourist area. The issue for me was housekeeping. With that said, the owner does not always know the service he/she may be getting when they are not around, so I do not fault the condo owners for my critique. They may appreciate the info. When we arrived at 4pm to check in, our condo was full of 3 people - the housekeeper and two guys fixing the cable TV. We explained that we would not unpack but simply change our shirts and go to dinner. They weren't having any luck on the TV, and as it was getting late on a Friday, I suggested they come back the next day at 9:00 am. They never did - and we were without TV until we called them 3 days later and suggested they needed to come back to set the cable box. They came back the next day. At 7:30 am.....with us still in bed. The bed/mattress, btw, was extremely comfortable, and since it was hot and humid during the hurricane weather - we REALLY appreciated the large, efficient, fan. Housekeeping issues were evident throughout the unit. After housekeeping left and we returned to the unit after dinner, we noticed several things: The patio was covered with a thick layer of sand, and also the furniture. Food and bird poop had not been cleaned off the table, The stove top was greasy with sauce splatters, as was the adjoining refrigerator. It simply had not been cleaned at all. I also suspect that our bed was made up with damp linens, as they smelled sour until we aired them out by not making the bed for two days. The unit's kitchen rehab is very nice and utilized the space better than the old "L" shaped footprint, and we did use the bar. I do think the entire unit needs a deep cleaning, however.......shower floor and toilet is stained, shower door and frame has collected a thick layer of schmutz, floor tile grout, closet tracks, dusty lamp fixtures,crusty and uncleaned coffee hotplate. Pretty basic stuff. The kitchen is rudimentary, but serviceable. Unmatched dinner and glassware. Noticeable, because we entertained.

Thank you for the feedback on my condo. I have addressed your concerns with my housekeeper. The cleaning will be complete by check in and the job not rushed through just before arrival. We all expect better service in the future.In regards to the cable box, the system is run by the resort. We have no control over the repair, and had not been informed by them of a problem with the box. I am sending a note to them about the scheduling of any future repair. Dinner plates, utensils and glassware have a way of becoming unmatched over time. Families of friends rent multiple units. Pots, pans and dishes 'go back and forth' between units. I even had a guest that added a new set of rice bowls. I recognize this as an ongoing problem and plan to address it in the next upgrade by storing replacement items in the owner's box. You may have noticed the sleeper sofa and chair were new. The granite counters, bar stools and lighting are new as well. I am glad you enjoyed the ocean front view. I agree, it is fantastic.
