Ir a esquiar, observación de aves, senderismo, ciclismo, pesca en el parque de estado y más. Se encuentra ubicado en las montañas a menos de 1 hora de Denver, Boulder, y el Parque Nacional de las Montañas Rocosas por lo que hay muchas excursiones de un día que se deben tomar en todas las direcciones! Kristine was a very gracious host who went above and beyond to help us with things to do in the area. Communication was prompt and very friendly. They were a friendly and lovely couple. The house and location are outstanding. The views are much better than the pictures describe. If you want some peace and quiet on a beautiful lake with close proximity to Nederland and Peak to Peak then this is your place.

This was a wonderful vacation for a family wedding and reunion where we all met and stayed at different parts of Blackhawk. The view from this location was absolutely stunning of the mountains and lake horn. I highly recommend it.

Great house tucked away in the mountains! Host communicated well and the house was in great condition. If you are coming from Denver, the house can be a bit out of the way, but also had great views of the mountains and forests. We had a great time

Very Peaceful Getaway

Beautiful location with great views. The property is a little dated but well cared for and well equipped. If you are looking to be a bit off the beaten path and enjoy short jaunts to the various parks then this is a great spot for you. I would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay & had a great time exploring the area (hiking, fishing, & kayaking)! The views from the deck are amazing & we really enjoyed hanging out there together! The cabin was very comfortable & clean and we were able to make most of our meals there. The kitchen is well equipped!

Sibling Weekend

The property location is stunning and feels off the beaten path but still convenient to towns close by. I was surprised at how clean it was for an older home. It was spacious and comfortable and the hummingbirds were delightful.

Visit to Colorado School of Mines

My second time to stay at this gorgeous cabin. Only 16 miles from Golden, through the State Park so windy roads take a bit longer but the views are amazing. Very relaxing place to unwind.

Perfect way to end the summer!

A peaceful and magical spot

We absolutely loved our stay here. We were looking to just get away from the city and be immersed in nature and that is exactly what we got here. The lake brings within viewing distance all kinds of animals. So many hummingbirds, dragonflies, bunnies and chipmunks, and we also saw a few moose across the lake! I highly recommend this place if you're looking for some peace and quiet and a recharge with natures surroundings.

Beautiful cabin with a picture-perfect view of a lake and the mountains

We stayed for two nights when the aspen had turned to gold. We enjoyed very much the panoramic view from the sitting room and deck of the lake with the mountains and trees...made perfect by a visit to the lake by a bull moose in the morning to bid us goodbye. The house had everything we required - highly recommended!

Beautiful mountain getaway

This property has all the comforts of home and then some. Great view and peaceful surroundings. We found plenty to do to entertain my teens. Property owner was super responsive and caring as we stayed there during a wild snowstorm. She made sure we had everything we needed and checked in regularly. You will not be disappointed staying at this beautiful home!

Mother/Daughter Trip

We chose this property for a Mother/Daughter trip for our Moms 80th birthday. The house was amazing, stocked with all the amenities we needed, and offered a view that was unmatchable. It was a quiet and remote retreat, but was still centrally located to most of our planned activities. The wildlife visits by elk, moose and bald eagle were the icing on the cake.

Beautiful Location

This was our third visit in the past year and it didn’t disappoint. Enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening on the deck surrounded by mountain and lake views can’t be beat. We loved paddle boarding around the lake and going for walks in the area. The cabin feels like home and is nestled in a beautiful place. We will be back again!

Sweet mountain retreat

We had a GREAT time on a beautiful property in the mountains. This was a unique property next to a mountain lake with great views all day. With clear skies all of our days, we were able to clearly see the milky way and hear a couple owls chatting in the evening. We would definitely return. Thanks to the owners!

I love the mountain views and the lake. This is our vacation home, and we also love spending time there. We are happy to share our special place with those that will appreciate it and take good care of it.

So if you want to bring pets, have a big party, or smoke, please find another place to stay. Our quiet neighborhood is not a good fit for you and your plans.
