This home was a very nice place to stay for a few days. The rooms were clean, the host responded very quickly to emails and texts. We would stay again.

Everything was clean and the host responded promptly when I had a question. Some kitchen cookware comes yes updating so I suggest to bring your own skillet if you’re planning to cook breakfast.

Listing wasn’t a 1 minute walk to lake more lake 20 minutes, mouse was getting on the counter leaving droppings, needs fans, TVs in bedrooms, more pans in the kitchen, front door didn’t work wouldn’t accept code called and told owner just said okay nothing was done about it we would’ve been locked out if the back door wasn’t unlocked had to leave back door unlocked when leaving.

Very disappointed in this property due to the fact they have a mice problem. We caught 5 mice in one night and then noticed there are mice derrants plugged in in every room, indicating they know they have a problem. Mice were caught on the couch and with further inspection mice droppings in the couch and around the the back of the couch. 3 mice caught in the kitchen with droppings around the fridge. Reached out to host who didn't respond until our last day when we checked out. Was told that the owner would contact us which they never did. Kitchen supplies were lacking, no mixing bowls, cooking sheets or baking dishes so this limits what can be cooked. Beds had a bottom sheet yet no top sheet and a thin short blanket. Concern is that blankets may not be the cleanest noting the droppings found in the drawer under the master bed. No sheets or pillows provided for pull out couch, which could not be utilized anyway due to the fact there were mice living in it. Would not stay again.

Great little "Up North" place to stay

We were staying for a weekend trip, with 6 of us in total. The property is recently renovated, very comfortable, and perfect for us. Pretty well appointed, and a great location for our adventures. The area is beautiful, and would make a great place for anyone who is hiking, riding bikes, and likely snowmobiling in the winter.

Great getaway place

The place was very nice and clean. The hostess was very accommodating. Stayed there for NYE weekend with friends, and we had a blast. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed the home for our race weekend. The location was a bit challenging to find in the dark with sketchy cell coverage. We should have printed a map of the location ahead of time. The house is very clean, cute and quiet. I would stay here again.

Perfect Stay

House was perfect for our visit to Manistee. It was spotless and had everything we needed. Short drive to sequoia trees and Lake Michigan for fireworks at the forest festival. Thank you!

The home was very nice and clean. The beds were not the most comfortable, also needed better pillows. But over all a very nice place. I would for sure recommend it.

Great location, Close to the Big M trail head along with many other great places to enjoy the beautiful outdoors of Manistee. Cabin was very comfortable and had a great kitchen.

Overall, the property is nice, there wan as issue with the power which the property manager addressed right away. Unfortunately, we wound up leaving due to a loss of power, that deep in the woods the water and electricity are connected. However, the host did refund some of our money. There was a little bit of deceptive information on the pictures of the property, that we later learned was just a miscellaneous picture, but les us to believe my husband would be able to fish right off the property.

Was great, just don't expect to use the garage. Floors needed mopped better, otherwise it was pretty nice. Host was communicating with us good. Peaceful and not disrupted. Would stay again.

Everything was spot on and in great condition and as expected. Only issue we had was the digital lock mechanism was extremely fidgety and difficult to get to work to open or close the door. It would accept the code easily and retract or expand the lock, if the door was wide open. If the door was closed though, the same code in the same manner would not work for several times and then finally would randomly work. Just something to check out. Not really a complaint as much as passing on info for the owner. Thanks for a nice place to stay!!
