This is perfect choice for an extended stay as the home offers a well equipped kitchen, fast WiFi, and laundry facilities.

Shelly’s Shack was better than described in the listing! Just perfect!The home was clean, kitchen was fully stocked, bedrooms were comfy, and the fenced in backyard would be a plus for little ones or pets! Also appreciated the proximity to Downtown Boyne City, Petoskey, Charlevoix and Boyne Mountain!Perfect stay for any season!

We all thought it was perfect! Decorated nicely, clean, modern, quite comfortable. We didn’t get to use the outdoor space much as it was unusually hot in Boyne City; we were happy the a/c worked well!

Absolutely stunning property. Loved everything about the house. Clean and stocked with everything you needed. The host is very accommodating and wonderful to communicate with. We stay at a lot of rentals when traveling and this one by far is at the top of the list. Thanks for the great stay!

Birthday Snowboarding

We were staying in Boyne City to celebrate our college aged son’s birthday with a friend and family. The accommodations were perfect for us. The boys had rooms downstairs, and we enjoyed getting away in our suite upstairs. The house was thoughtfully stocked and arranged. We truly loved this home.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

I planned a quick weekend getaway for our two teenagers to ski and for us to enjoy the area. This home was one of the best we have ever rented. The location was perfect; in warmer weather, we would have been able to walk easily into downtown Boyne City. It was a quick drive to drop and pick up the boys from the mountain. Everything in the house was thoughtfully planned out and made for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The size of the bedrooms and bathrooms made it a comfortable stay for our family. I recommend it and hope to stay there again next time we are in the area.

Shelly's Shack is great

We had a great two week stay at Shelly's wonderful house. Very well stocked, nicely renovated older home that met all our needs and then some. We'd always stayed in Petoskey before but really enjoyed the laid back ambience of Boyne City. We'll be back to both Boyne City and Shelly's wonderful property.

Location, Comfortable Felt like Home

Location within walking distance of downtown Boyne City. Family walked to coffee shop and a bakery a few times over our stay. Home was clean, so many amenities which is what I think made it feel so much like home. Home owner was so helpful and friendly. I can’t say enough good things about this rental and its location. We enjoyed it very much.

Beautiful Property-updated and cozy/comfortable

This was our first VRBO experience and we were very happy we booked this property. Quiet neighborhood, close to boat piers, town and restaurants. We enjoyed the area while we were visiting for our niece’s June wedding. Great place to relax, take walks and enjoy a little shopping and good food.

Great- However...

This house was perfect for us in many ways. However, driving up after work with kids and getting there around 8:00p.m. I Need to get the kids in bed. I-Pads are dead from the long drive. Come to find out there was only one TV out of the 2 bedrooms for the kids. Yes, I let them watch one show before they fall asleep. This caused fighting as to who was getting the room with the TV. Again, the house was GREAT! Just need one more TV in the second bedroom. I would definitely stay here again!!

Ski trip at Boyne

A group of friends and myself stayed at Shelly’s Shack for a weekend ski trip at Boyne and it was the perfect place for us!! Beautiful home that’s very cozy and clean, everything was just right. Shelly is a delightful host and I would recommend 10/10! We will definitely be back :)

The neighborhood is quaint and friendly. Jump on your bike, take a walk down to the city beach which is just a few blocks away, explore downtown and hit the Farmer's Market. Boyne Mountain Resort is a five-mile drive (about 6 minutes). After a long day's fun come back and cozy up with some popcorn and a movie.

All who visit the home give grand compliments on how nice it is. I love decorating and have had fun working on making this comfortable yet beautiful. It’s also a quaint neighborhood, within walking distance to downtown, the kitchen is quite spectacular, and the entire home has an emphasis on coziness.
