I found this house while looking for somewhere for my family and I to stay. Our daughter was graduating Navy bootcamp and we wanted something cozy where we could spend time together. This house was perfect. It wasn't to far from the base. It was a safe area with good restaurants. It's a great neighborhood.

In Town for Great Lakes Navy PIR Ceremony

We loved our stay in Libertyville. The home was clean and had everything we needed. The location was perfect close to downtown Libertyville with great restaurants. The drive to GreatLakes Base was easy. Highly recommend staying here.

Great Location with Charm

Excellent place to stay

It was well located near downtown Libertyville as well as too many locations right down the road and the hawthorn mall. It suited a family of six without issue, plenty of space. It was clean and warm.

Great Property

We were in town for our son's Navy Bootcamp graduation. The property was just what we were looking for. This house allowed us to relax as a family and still be to places that we wanted to visit. We would book this property again.

My overall stay was excellent, the location, the rooms, and the amount of space we needed was on point. Getting to and from Great Lakes was very accessible and all my favorite stores was close by. I give this property 5 stars.

Roach problem caused bad experiences especially with the females. We had to be careful while unpacking back at home. All else was good, location near Naval base, downtown and options nearby.

Great Location

Came to Naval Graduation and this place was quite accommodating to our needs, was able to bring the whole family where we could all stay together. We cooked, ate and caught up on time lost together. No complaints

Great!

We were in town for a Navy event. Location to base was great (about 15 min drive). Loved being able to walk to all the shops, coffee house, ice cream, restaurants, ice cream parlor in downtown Libertyville which is darling. Kids loved the games in the basement. Would for sure stay again!

Great location and accommodations

We stayed for 3 nights for the Navy RTC graduation. Close to Great Lakes for the several trips back and forth. Good accommodations with 2 bedrooms and 1 bath on each the main floor and basement. Spent lots of time together in the comfortable living room and dining room. Cute neighborhood walkable to main street with excellent parking situation. Thank you!

Nice location

Stayed here for Navy graduation. Wonderful neighborhood walking distance to downtown Libertyville. About 20 minutes to the base. The house is nice. The only downside was there were not extra house hold items such as toilet paper, paper towels, trash bag and bath towels.

Quick and easy

Very quick response at 12:30 am when we couldn’t get our code to work. Automatically let us in so we weren’t stuck outside in the cold and dark! Really great communication throughout our stay.

This is the perfect place!! We stayed for my daughter‘s naval graduation. Walking distance to beautiful downtown Libertyville with places to eat, rose Gardens hair salons… anything you can think of!! Ten minute drive to the base unless it’s graduation day you need to leave a little early!! Located in an absolutely beautiful neighborhood! Four actual bedrooms, each of us had our own room, two sitting areas, one with a game room! Property manager is super communicative answers questions within just a few minutes. Easy keypad entry,.. downstairs bathroom has a huge shower, super hot water and great water pressure!! Big beautiful porch to sit on covered! 10 stars!!! If we are fortunate to be back in that area, we’ll definitely stay again!!

Family Funeral Stay

We were attending a family funeral in Lake Forest and needed a clean, comfortable home to house 7 adults and a dog for four days. This house met all our requirements. While an older home it was very clean, comfortable bedding, and ample room for us all to congregate in the evening. The house is walkable to the main street of Libertyville with good restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping. Also, very near to walking trails around Butler Lake and surrounding neighborhood. It was easy drive to Lake Forest and homes of other family and friends. Easy check in and check out. Again, this house met and exceeded all our requirements. Thank you!

The AC malfunctioned and it was not fixed, although we were told it was. It was still hot. No AC throughout the rooms. Never using this place again. Also, please confirm you will refund my incidentals coverage.

Hi Lydia, We are sorry to hear that your stay was less than satisfactory. As soon as we were informed of the AC not cooling to your liking, our maintenance staff delivered 2 window units that our team verified are in good working in order. Though we did not receive any communication to that effect via the VRBO messaging platform. We have tested the AC since your departure and it is cooling. You also made several requests during your stay that are not included in a typical stay booked via VRBO such as our cleaning staff to come pick up your used towels, so it is possible this type of vacation rental is not the best fit for you. Since you requested a late checkout which we accommodated at no additional charge as a courtesy, we assumed the AC was working as you opted to stay longer. Thank you for your feedback! VRBO handles the damages deposit directly and we have no control over the refund but they typically reimburse within 3-5 business days. Thank you!
