We felt very safe at the whole resort. The beach was not a far walk and we had plenty of space to spread our stuff out and enjoy it. The condo was perfect for our family of 6. Everyone had a comfortable bed to sleep in. The bathrooms were very spacious. The kitchen was a little small but still had space to cook and prepare meals. The kitchen also had plenty of pots and pans and other kitchen accessories to do anything we needed! We honestly had no complaints! It was a great week and we will be back!!

We got the top floor not to hear people beating and banging and stomping above but for some reason we heard all of that from the rooms on the sides of us, wall must be constructed thin. Location was great and again very clean!

Great place and beautiful view

Great property for two adults and 8 kids ages 16-7. Plenty of room. Tons of extra pillows and blankets. Kitchen had everything we needed. The view from the balcony was beautiful and a very short walk to the beach. Loved that the balcony overlooked the pool. Will definitely stay again.

We have used Jackie Battles for 4 years and have never been disapointed. The Plantation in Ft. Morgan, AL is where we stay. It's secluded, secure, the beaches are never over crowded. With 9 pools (2 indoor) the pools are never over crowded. This unit the AC was COLD. That was a huge plus! Be back next year!

The pool was nice and an issue with a broken chair on the balcony was resolved quickly. The unit seemed smaller in real life than in the pictures, but we made it work with seven adults and a baby.

Week away with the family

Small outdated condo. No cupboard space for food. Would be a nice quiet location if we didnt have to share pool with rowdy vacation homes aross the parking lot. Chasing crabs on the beach at night was the most fun

This was our 3rd time staying at these condos. Really liked the loft. First time to have that. Everything was great. Only complaint i have is our dishes were dirty. I had to re wash a hand full of items that was put back up in the cabinets.

Perfect getaway

We stayed the week of July 4th. The condo is exactly as prescribed and fit our family of 2 adults, 2 children and one teen. The Condo and property were very clean. The beach was not crowded at all and they do have beach chair rentals during on season. Short 15-20 minute drive into downtown Gulf Shores. We ate at the Sassy Bass Grill on the property one night and the food was great. I would definitely return here next year!

Gulf Shoes- Fort Morgan

Great area that is not commercialized so less traffic and noise. Beaches clean and property extremely well kept, clean and pools very nice.

The Dunes are the best

This is our fifth time returning to The Dunes. This condominium was spacious and had easy access to the pools and the beach. We had an amazing time. Our children had room to spread out. There is no where better to take your family if you are looking for the perfect place at the beach, this is it!

First time with VRBO and Gulf Shores. Weather forecasts weren’t too accurate so don’t fret if it calls for rain. Beach was awesome with Convenient access. It’s about a 15ish minute drive to town which we enjoyed as it seemed quieter and less busy. There are carts next to the elevator which made hauling our stuff much easier. We had 6 of us stay here - kids ranged 15 to 9. We live in a small house so even with all of us plus gear we didn’t feel too cramped. Besides why spend a bunch of time in the condo when there is a beach right there? We’d book here again if we have another vacation opportunity.

Great spot and value

The condo was a nice value for this location. Had some unsavory interactions with inexperienced Security and was sad that a beach rental had no beach “stuff” like chairs or towels. But overall we are glad we stayed and would like to return!
