We’re sorry for the confusion that occurred during your stay. The situation arose from a rare technical error where our calendars on two booking platforms didn’t sync correctly, which resulted in a double booking for one of the nearby cabins. The lady in the other cabin was not a friend of ours. She was on vacation with her family and booked on another platform which I explained to you that night. I was in the car on my phone checking on things for you when we were talking and I did go thru a dead zone on the mtn I live on. I refunded both of your housing even though I didn't have to because there was nothing wrong with your sisters place but I understood you wanted to all be close to one another. We did everything possible to make the situation right and ensure your family could still enjoy the special weekend. We’ve since added additional safeguards to prevent this from happening again. We truly care about our guests’ experiences and are proud to maintain consistently high ratings across all of our properties. To any readers, please look at our reviews! There is a reason we are ranked as premier hosts and hold a 4.9 rating on 10 homes! This is a very rare situation and was out of our control. I could not ask the other guests to leave who had already been there 3 days and had a paid reservation thru another online platform. I am very sorry this happened and I wish you all the best in the future!
