Inside, our 3,267-square-foot home has everything needed for a comfortable stay. The open-concept kitchen is designed to bring people together, featuring lake views, modern appliances, and three separate seating areas, perfect for meal preparation, casual dining, or simply gathering with loved ones. Unwind in the cozy living room, equipped with a 60-inch smart TV, a wood-burning firepit, and plenty of plush seating to relax after a day out.

Family friendly:
Being parents of young kids ourselves, we know how hard traveling can be sometimes, we have really tried our best to accommodate young families. We have a pack N plays, sound machine and crib sheets available. Plastic plates, bowls, cups, sippy cups and kids spoons, knives and forks, Kids toys, books, games and puzzles for the whole family to enjoy.
Pet-Friendly Accommodations:
We welcome one dog only (up to 60 lbs) for a fee of $150 per stay. This fee helps cover the additional cleaning required for pet hair. If any waste beyond hair (such as urine or feces) is found, an additional $200 cleaning fee will be charged. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pet, and dogs should not be left unattended in the home, as barking may disturb neighbors. Please let us know if you are traveling with a dog
Not Fully Fenced:
While the yard is spacious, it is not fully enclosed, so it’s not suitable for leaving young children or pets unattended outdoors.
Park Proximity & Activity:
Our home is conveniently located just across the street from Meadow Park—great for families and outdoor lovers. However, please note that during weekends, holidays, or peak seasons, the park can be active and lively, with sounds from sports games and gatherings often continuing into the early evening (typically no later than 9 PM). If you`re seeking complete silence throughout the day, this may not be the right fit.
Lake View & Access:
While our property offers partial lake views, they are interrupted by power lines, and there is no direct access to the lakefront from the backyard. We recommend enjoying nearby lake access points just a short drive or walk away for a true lakeside experience. We believe in setting the right expectations so you can fully enjoy your stay. If you have any questions or want help deciding if our home is the perfect fit, we’re happy to help!
Heating/Cooling:
While there is central heating and a wood burning fire place, please note that there is no air conditioning which is extremely common in Big Bear as it tends to be cooler year round, there is a mountain breeze that is beautiful when staying in the summer months.
TRAVELING IN WINTER:
CalTrans can mandate all vehicles to carry snow chains between November 1st and April 30th. Chains are sold at most auto supply shops, hardware stores, and some convenience stores. We will not be held responsible and do not issue refunds if the city doesn`t allow you up the mountain because your vehicle does not have snow chains.
Parking:
Please note that the garage is unavailable, but there is ample driveway parking.
Power outages are common within the Mountain Areas and are generally prompted by the power company directly. We strive to notify our guests in advance, but this is dependent on the power company notifying us in advance, which doesn`t always happen. If an outage occurs during your stay, reach out to us and we`ll be happy to send over flashlights if needed. Please note, we are not liable for outages during your stay.

• Primary renter must be 18+, sign a rental agreement, and provide valid photo ID. The registered guest must remain on-site for the entire stay. Subleasing is prohibited.
• Maximum occupancy is 11 overnight guests, per city regulations. Exceeding this limit may result in fines or eviction.
• No parties or events. Loud music, rambunctious gatherings, or excessive cars disturbing neighbors are strictly prohibited.
• No sticking tape on walls or pictures, and no confetti is allowed.
• Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 10 AM. Excessive noise or disturbances may result in immediate eviction without refund.
• Smoking or vaping is not allowed indoors, including cigarettes, marijuana, or e-cigarettes. Any cleaning or damage costs will be charged to the primary guest.
• Please clean up after your pets and be mindful of barking to avoid neighbor complaints. Max 1 dog
• Park in driveway, no street parking is permitted. Max 4 vehicles. Avoid blocking neighbors’ homes or driveways.
• Firepit, BBQ, and fireplace must be operated by responsible adults only.
• No firearms, fireworks, or hazardous materials allowed on the property.
