Refined and Rustic “Yellowstone” Vibe at Deer Cove Barn

Whoa! It's as if Maine and Montana fell in love, and we think you will, too, when you step foot into this custom-designed post and beam barn. Newly constructed in 2023, this locally designed custom barn captures your senses. The fresh wood smell, the large stone gas fireplace, the cleverly outfitted cowboy-style bunk room…this barn has it all! The kitchen has an island for extra gathering, large dinning table, laundry room, and full bath with a walk in rustic stone shower. And that’s just the first floor! The second floor boasts another full living space with a full kitchen, cozy bedroom, full bath with walk-in shower, a hide away loft, a stone gas fireplace and a walk-out balcony. Relax in the rocking chairs, a great vantage point for spotting the abundant wildlife at Deer Cove including deer, turkeys, eagles, and the resident fox that has babies in its den every spring. 

Outside you can circle up around the stone gas fire pit with Adirondack chairs and flannel blankets to take off the chill… a great spot for s’mores and stargazing in the clear Maine sky.

In the winter months strap on the snow shoes and walk the golf course just across the River. Take advantage of the snow and build a snowman. The barn is equipped with the LL bean snowman kit and toddler sled, making it easy to get outside and play. During the spring and fall take the provided bikes into town to explore. Head to our beautiful Kennebunk beaches in the summer (Beach parking passes provided)… all within a short distance from Deer Cove Barn. The barn also comes equipped with boogie boards, corn hole, spike ball, and can jam.
