Welcome to Wiggle Butts #1 – Your Pet-Friendly Texas Hill Country Getaway!

Escape to Wiggle Butts #1, a private Hill Country retreat near beautiful Canyon Lake, Texas. With 2 bedrooms, 3 beds, and room for up to 6 guests, it's perfect for families, couples, friends—and, of course, dogs!

We welcome up to 3 dogs with NO breed or size restrictions.

Enjoy your own private pool, hot tub, fully fenced backyard, and gated entry, giving both you and your dogs plenty of space to relax and enjoy your stay.

Inside, you'll find a comfortable home with a fully equipped kitchen and everything you need for an easy Hill Country getaway. Outside is where Wiggle Butts #1 really shines. Spend the day lounging by the private pool, relaxing in the hammock, soaking in the hot tub, or enjoying the spacious deck.

In the evening, fire up the propane grill, play a round of cornhole, gather around the fire pit, and enjoy the Texas night sky while your dogs explore the fenced yard.

Located near Canyon Lake, you'll have easy access to boating, swimming and outdoor adventures while still being within driving distance of Wimberley, Gruene, New Braunfels and other Hill Country favorites.

Need more space? Book Wiggle Butts #1 and #2 together to accommodate up to 10 guests, with each home offering its own private amenities.

Important Booking Information

We are committed to protecting our properties and complying with short-term rental regulations. Guests are required to complete an independent guest verification process and will receive instructions by email and/or text.

A $35 damage waiver is also required before your stay. The waiver provides protection in the event of accidental damage during your reservation.

We have been traveling to the Canyon Lake area about once a year for over 13 years now. We have a senior dog who has never made the trip with us before so what we loved about this place was it provided us with the opportunity to do that. The location gives you great access to all the things the area has to offer or you could just spend a lot of time relaxing on the property itslef. Friendly hosts, not a single complaint about this place, would stay again.

The house was the perfect size with the right amount of beds. It was clean and tidy with all essentials included. We just needed to bring our own food. Sean, the host (owmer) was very pleasant, accommodating and informative. The kitchen was fully stocked with all cooking essentials and even had spices and steak seasonings. There was a drip foodie maker with a pod individual coffee cupmaker. There was coffee and pods, too. The hot tub was wonderful and the pool was refreshing and fun. The pool was a good size, not big but not small. We used the propane grill for rib eyes and we also used the fire pit to make S'mores! The whole area was breathtaking with a lot of activities and shopping nearby. All in all, it was the perfect weekend. We would definitely stay here again if we come back out to visit the Texas Hill Country.

Clean house, nice property with fencing all the way around. The back yard was fenced in and perfect for dogs! Hot tub was clean and inviting, pool was clean but unfortunately it was too cold outside for that. We had a great stay at Wiggle Butts!

Great summer get away!

My family and I stayed at Wiggle Butts #1 and had a GREAT time!! Everything was clean and well maintained. The area offers many day trip options too so the location was perfect! We will definitely be back to Wiggle Butts!

Property had everything you could possibly need or want. The atmosphere was very warm and welcoming. Watching all the birds and squirrels from the front porch with a morning cup of coffee was the best!

Perfect Getaway with Our 4-Legged Family Members

We absolutely loved our stay with our 4-legged family members (we don’t call them dogs cause they’re so much more than that). The place was very clean and we loved the fenced in backyard for the little ones, both 2-legged and 4-legged, to run around in. The place was just very quiet and peaceful. Sean and Holly were very accommodating and easy to communicate with. We 100% recommend this place to any one and will definitely be coming back!

Quiet, private, relaxing. Everything my partner and I desire when escaping city life. Their openness to accepting cats made such a huge impact for us as our 6 year old British shorthairs suffer separation anxiety. This allowed us to book the 6 nights/7 day stay.The pool was exactly what August in Texas calls for. We spent about 5-6 hours each day and sometimes capped the night with the Hot Tub. The grill was a major bonus!Definitely would book again!

Yes. The hot tub was great & well located. The home & yards were incredibly dog friendly with large yards totally fenced in & the home all on one level. There's were stairs & a gentle ramp for the dogs to gently walk down to backyard from the lovely pool & sitting area.It's a dog friendly paradise! Our 2 senior English Cocker spaniels loved it as did we.Sean is a great host, very friendly & helpful. The house is clean & very welcoming with plenty of kitchen amenities & if you need something Sean will help out.We loved sitting out the back watching the birds & trees & enjoying a gentle way of life. The pool & hot tub are wonderful & made our stay special.This is our second stay at Wiggle Butts & we are planning on many more.

Magnificent Getaway

The property is a bit close to the road (I could hear passing trucks), but after day two heard them less and less. That is the only negative at all. The property is convenient to both San Antonio and Wimberley, but far enough away that you feel remote. The little house has everything that you could ever need. I do mean everything (pool, hot tub, lounging indoors and outdoors, kitchen, streaming services). We could not have asked for anything more, it was brilliant.

Wonderful Stay at Wiggle Butts Ranch

We loved our stay at Wiggle Butts Ranch! The location was great for exploring Hill Country. Very close to Canyon Lake and an easy drive to several state parks for hiking, swimming, etc. The property was clean, well appointed, and very comfortable for myself, my husband, and two young kids. Our dog particularly loved the large fenced in back yard. Sean and Holly were super responsive and helpful. They live on the property so are always there when you need them. There is a second rental on the property as well, so if you are traveling with a larger party you could rent out both. Even though there are multiple houses on the property, they are spread out so it feels secluded and private. A great find and we will definitely be back next time our travels take us to Hill Country!

Great place to stay if you're traveling with pets and family. Close enough to all essentials and day-trip adventures with plenty of space and amenities to spend time together. We cooked, grilled, and chilled. We floated the river, checked out the lake, and had a great time, highly recommended for travelers with pets.

We stayed at Wiggle Butts #1 for a couple of nights to lay back and relax. It was the perfect place to do that. The highway in front of the house is pretty loud but in no way a deal breaker for us. We enjoyed both the pool and the hot tub. Our senior dog loved exploring the fenced in backyard. All in all a very nice place to kick back. Your backyard is spacious and is feels very rural but you are still close enough to enjoy restaurants and Canyon Lake.
