The flat, paved driveway makes arrivals easy, and the home has Wi-Fi, a fully equipped kitchen, a big screen TV and fireplace, a beautiful living room, a washer/dryer, and a loft with shuffleboard, board games, toys, and a big screen TV.

Outside, lounge around on the deck, toss burgers on the deck, relax in the new 6-person hot tub, and take in peaceful views. Within Big Canoe, enjoy access to swimming pools, tennis courts, a golf course, a spa and fitness center, restaurants, and more!

What a surprise to open the door and see that Christmas was there. We loved having the Christmas tree and decorations for us. We had several days of warm weather for December and were able to enjoy the screened porch. A great getaway for us after the holidays.

Great location, property met our needs!

My family (husband and 4 year old twins) stayed at this property for 3 nights/4days over Memorial Day weekend. The property was as listed and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The location was great. It was really peaceful and quiet, and easy to access the clubhouse, beach club, and marina. No complaints. Would return.

Great Family Getaway in Big Canoe, But Needs Exterior Improvements

We had a great time with my family at the house in Big Canoe. The house is located in a really quiet place, surrounded by trees, which made for a peaceful and relaxing stay. The spaces inside the house are well distributed, and it has everything you need for a family vacation. The game room was a big hit with the kids, keeping them entertained for hours. The amenities of Big Canoe make it a great place to spend time with the family. We rented a pontoon and had a blast on the lake! However, we did notice that there were a lot of insects around, including spiders, and unfortunately, we didn't use the hot tub because there were some bees around it. The exterior cleanliness could definitely use some improvement, particularly in terms of pest control. Overall, it's a nice place, but a little more attention to the exterior would make it even better.

Nice house - not so good communication

This house was really nice. The bedrooms are a nice size, and the bathrooms are as well. It has a beautiful deck and and a really nice screened in porch. The living room is great with a wood burning fireplace. However, the communication with Georgia CFY was not good at all. When my family arrived at the front gate of Big Canoe, the security guard did not have our names under the property for check-in. So, I had to call Georgia CFY and leave a voice mail. This was very frustrating because we were literally at the front gate helpless. I finally decided to try the "new reservations" option - of course I got a human being - and she emailed the front gate to give us access. Yay! We arrive at our cabin, punch in the code for the front door and... nothing. The door does not unlock. I, once again call "new reservations" and 30 minutes later, she afer a lot of "hold please", she gives me a code that is no where near the code that was given to me in my arrival email. She got the correct code from the house cleaning supervisor. From the time I arrive at the front gate until we actually got into our cabin was 90 minutes. Needless to say, that put a damper on our whole experience. I hope they improve their communitcation - it was a really cute house.
