Bienvenido a nuestro Cranesville Rental Whispering Pines ... Whispering Pines está enclavado en los pinos y en las principales tierras de cultivo en la pequeña comunidad de Cranesville. Limita con la conservación de la naturaleza del pantano de Cranesville. Tiene un hermoso estanque para la pesca de captura y liberación. Hay ganado, ovejas, caballos, mulas, patos y gallinas para que disfrutes. También verá ciervos, pavos, pájaros y un oso ocasional.

There’s nothing I can say that will adequately convey the magic of this place. The cabin is lovely, with windows on all sides, and you feel like you are inside a fishbowl with a beautiful farm all around you. All the animals are friendly, the fresh eggs are delicious and the people are all so wonderful and friendly! As an animal lover, I can honestly say this place is heaven and I hope to come back again soon.

Great stay

My wife and I really enjoyed our weekend at this property. It Is a very clean property located in a picturesque country setting. The host was very helpful and responded to all of our questions. The fire pit and hot tub are wonderful additions. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful, Quite, mountain cabin.

This was an amazing cabin, we loved every minute of our stay. It was a girls trip for my daughter’s birthday. We all loved seeing and petting the horses and mule. The morning was gorgeous. We loved how it felt very cozy and with nature while there. The Host is very sweet and her daughter in law as well. It was nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of city/suburban area’s. We will return.

A little glimpse of heaven

From the moment we arrived we fell in love. Beautiful spacious cabin. Laura has thought of everything to make your stay amazing! The 12 year old and 7 year old loved the animals. Beautiful scenery. Had a campfire both nights and roasted hotdogs and had s’mores. Got fresh eggs from the chickens. Dining room table was perfect for playing lots of games. So quiet and peaceful. Hated to leave and can’t wait to go back. Laura was one of the nicest people we have ever met. We can’t thank her enough for making our stay so wonderful!

Awesome hideaway

We loved the seclusion and setting of this home while still being close to the amenities of the surrounding area. We arrived during a blizzard and the owners really took care of us. Communication prior to arrival was great, they made sure we had supplies (they even dropped off some extras for the storm), and they kept the driveway plowed so we could get to activities even though the snow kept drifting. The home is extremely clean and well done in rustic style. The only neighbors were a pair of mules in the nearby pasture. The listing for this property was accurate and all was in good working order...hot tub, fire pit, new flat screen HD TV, etc. The kitchen is well stocked with all the needed dishes, utensils, and even some basic food supplies. We'd absolutely recommend this property...especially if you'd like a bit more privacy/seclusion and rustic setting. We plan to stay here again.

Wonderful weekend getaway

What an awesome little getaway. We came up the weekend of Easter to getaway from the city, unplug ( no internet or signal for miles), unwind and reconnect as a family. Although the weather was iffy, one day being 60's and rainy to snowing on our last day, we were still able to enjoy all the amenties. Loved the hot tub & all the cabin had to offer. So much more spacious than pics show. Laura stocked her cabin with so many essentials, we now know next time, we don't have to pack as much. The highlight of the trip for both my teens & toddlers were the chickens. Very friendly & loved collecting eggs each morning. Just a few mile drive to the beautiful waterfalls. Be careful, no GPS signal and we did get a little lost on the way back. Laura was very friendly, stopping in to check on us & made sure we have fire wood even with the wet weather! Cant wait to go back in the summer and experience all the lake activities.

Wonderful Family Experience!

Our kids have ranked this their favorite vacation, “We have our own mule, pony, cats, chickens and cows”! We were able to see deer off in the distance and one came in the yard. The hot tub was wonderful! The house was clean and the pictures don’t do it justice, there is plenty of room. We traveled into McHenry for the Festival of Trees and stopped at Mountain State Brewery (based on other reviews - awesome!) on the way back to the property. Overall, we had a great time and will probably be back!!

Mountain farm retreat

Place was better than described. Very clean, well taken care of rustic cabin. Hot tub was the best ever for a rental I have seen this far. Animals were a lovely addition to the overall experience. We loved it! Would definitely rent again from this host.

Nice Getaway

If you're looking for a place to get away from your busy everyday life, this is the perfect place! Beautiful scenery, away from the hustle and bustle. The kids loved the animals, and getting eggs each day.

Amazing Cabin, Property and location

This place was awesome! Laura very friendly and answered any questions we had, Cabin was very well done with nice finishes. Comfortable beds, clean kitchen and bathroom. Hot tub was awesome with great views. The animals surrounding you were very friendly such as the Donkeys, chickens and cats. Few ponds, eggs in the chicken coop, fire pit with nice seating area, close to hiking trails and state park. Kitchen had lots of things to make cooking easier, laundry room, and overall very peaceful and quiet.

Wonderful Farm Stay

My son and I need an escape from being stuck in the house due to online schooling (Covid times). Oh this rental was just what we needed and then some. Beautiful surroundings of pastures , ponds and our favorite farm animals. It was truly therapeutic being surrounded by such peaceful beauty and the lovely farm animals. The cabin/ home was very spacious, thoughtful decor, cozy, great Wifi, sparkling clean and every window view was beautiful enough to paint a picture of. Lori was such a kind host and went above and beyond to make our stay absolutely perfect. She has several rentals in the area on her website Crainsville Country Rentals’s which we plan on returning to. Thanks so much for sharing your slice of heaven with us. Julie and Joe

Amazing getaway

We had a wonderful stay at Whispering Pines! The house was perfect and just what we wanted. We loved seeing the animals on the farm and Laura was very responsive and answered any questions we had. We will definitely be back!

Whispering Pines, Cranesville

Our stay at Whispering Pines was fantastic! Great place to stay and relax. Our kids loved the horses, chickens, and fishing. We were able to enjoy Deep Creek Lake area activities, while also having our own secluded area to unplug.

Urban to Farm-Like Disconnect

Whispering Pines provided the solitude and privacy so needed by my wife and me. Having been raised in Baltimore City all of our lives, spending the week with horses, chickens ( with daily fresh eggs), geese and deer was a delightful and wonderful contrast to the normal for us. Laura, the owner was wonderful.

Beautiful Quiet Cabin

Awesome time, owner came to make sure everything was up to par and it was great! Needed a quiet weekend after 5 days in DC and the location was perfect. Close enough to Deep Creek for fun and far enough for peace and quiet. Great time!

Nice getaway!

Had a great time:) Very clean and rustic interior. Hot tub under the stars at 15 degrees outside was fun. Fed the mules carrots everyday... very gentle. Cold outside but super comfortable inside. Will definitely go back with the kids when it's warmer.

Amazing!
