Nestled among the rolling hills of rural Garret County, Rest Assured provides you with a true country get-away, great for a romantic weekend, or a small family vacation. While only less than two miles from the Wisp resort and deep creek lake, you will find a feeling of seclusion and privacy.

Enjoy spectacular sunsets while sitting on the front porch, roasting marshmallows by the campfire, or soaking in the hottub. If it's action you seek, we are located 2 miles from the Wisp Resort and Deep Creak Lake where you can enjoy the restaurants and entertainment around the lake.

If the outdoors is what you crave, take advantage of the many seasonal activies like hiking, fishing, ice fishing, rafting, kayaking, and of course all of what the Wisp and Deep Creek can offer.

Not an outdoor person? Not a problem! Unique to this small home is its own private "theater room". Binge watch your favorite shows on our 75" screen tv and incredible surround sound.

Our goal as hosts is to provide you with a restful, peaceful, getaway where memories can be made and relationships strengthened!

We had a great time! The views were amazing, especially after it snowed. The house is close to Wisp, shopping and restaurants so if you bring a 4WD, the snow won't stop you from enjoying it all in the winter. The night before we left, we got about 6 inches of snow (on top of the few inches that fell earlier in the week). We really appreciated that the driveway was plowed to make our departure easier.

Cozy Get Away

We had an amazing few days at Rest Assured! Communication with Janelle was great and she was very responsive and helpful. The property was very clean and we especially enjoyed the theater room and outdoor spaces with the hot tub and fire pit area. Would highly recommend!

Very cute place, comfortable and close to everything. Owners were great getting back to me with any questions I had. My two girlfriends and I truly enjoyed our stay, all three of us had suffered loss(family members) and the peacefulness and energy of the area was what we needed. My grandbabies loved the theater room. We cooked a lot (everything we needed)in the kitchen. Hot tub was wonderful. We definitely talked about returning. Thank you for having such a peaceful place

Excellent Stay

Stayed here to get away for a few days. The house was clean, the theater room was a big hit with the kids. Got to explore Deep Creek Lake area too, which was very close.

We had a wonderful family ski trip at Wisp and stayed here (just a few minutes away) for a long weekend. Very clean, cozy, and welcoming home with fantastic communication from the host. We would absolutely recommend and would be happy to stay here again!

Very nice cozy cottage

We had a very relaxing time at the cottage. It is not a big place but that was ok with us. The kitchen was well stocked, as was the bathroom and laundry. The beds were comfortable. We loved the comforters! The back patio was very relaxing with a nice breeze blowing thru most of the time. The fire pit and hot tub were a nice edition. We've already discussed the possibility of staying here again. The area is beautiful! We saw some deer, including fawns in the back yard.

Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed your property and cottage. The views and amenities are stunning. The hot tub and theatre room were what initially attracted me to your property and they did not disappoint. The close proximity to deep creek made the possibilities endless for activities. Central air would be preferred as a guest if there was any room for improvement. The property was clean, cozy, and perfect.

Amazing house right near wisp

My children and I stayed here for a short snowboard trip to wisp mountain. It's very close to wisp, maybe 1 mile away. The kids absolutely loved hey Angela lollipop now the house, the bunk beds and the theater room are very cool. This house has a lot of nice touches and welcoming details. For example they had toiletries if you were missing any including toothbrushes, a hamper, coffee, and all the things you need in the kitchen. The interior has been very well done with recessed lighting and high ceilings, nice kitchen appliances, nice carpet in the kids bedroom, and nice hardwood flooring throughout the rest of the house. I also had a couple communications with the owner and she responded very rapidly.I would definitely stay here again, I would highly recommend it to anyone that needs a two-bedroom place near wisp or in deep Creek in general.

My Husband and live 20min away in Grantsville MD, and are blessed to have 3 boys under 4yrs old.

For almost 10 years, part of my day to day job was cleaning vacation rental properties around deep creek lake. Now that I am a stay-at-home mom, that part of my life is over. However, I always wanted to own/manage a vacation rental of my own. So, 2 years ago, when we had the opportunity to buy this home, we jumped at the opportunity. We were very excited to jump into doing some remodeling and turning the home into an exciting, enjoyable stay.

We love the opportunity to share the beauty of Deep Creek Lake and Garrett County with people from other areas, and it excites us that our little home could be a part of someone else's adventures.

Deep Creek Lake is only 2 min away from the house. The lake brings many attractions for both family fun and romantic getaways. Garrett County has much to offer in the way of hiking, kayaking, skiing, whitewater rafting, sightseeing, biking, historical towns, and so much more. All of this is within easy driving distance of the house.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Our house is on a 3 acre lot by itself. There are other houses in sight, but not close enough to feel intrusive. From the hot tub or front porch, you can enjoy beautiful views of the mountains and the farm country, and take in beautiful sunsets. All of this scenery and seclusion, and yet you are only minutes away from the main attractions of Deep Creek Lake and the Wisp Resort!!! Our house offers the best of both worlds, country seclusion with all the action only minutes away.
