Relax with the whole family, at the lake, in front of a fire, on top of our private mountain, or on the spacious screen porch. Watch movies on our large Flat Screen TV in the Living Room.
30 minutes from Saratoga Springs, Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC), Lake George Village, Outlet stores & Several Amusement Parks including Great Adventure near Lake George.
Private 75' dock with 100' of private lakefront including use of 2 kayaks and 2 canoes and Paddleboard... more if needed.
Three bedrooms with all new 2 Cal. King and 2 Queen sized beds. Two full bathrooms. (tub & shower). Air conditioning, WIFI, Large TV with cable access. Full kitchen with spice cabinet, large washer and dryer.

Comfortable, clean home. Kitchen pantry could use some organization, expired foodstuffs, pots and lids not matching.Quiet neighborhood and a very relaxing stay. Lots to do in the area: drive to Saratoga Springs and Lake George. Had fun on the rail/bike tour and cruising Lake George.The walk to the lake is steep so driving is an option. The 200 acres of hiking trails was across the street but we never made it there.

We had a great 4 days there. We had all that was needed. Screened porch was so nice to hang out in. Barbecue was top of the line which made our cooking easy. I would stay here again anytime. Bob and Ann were very accommodating

Our stay at the Red Farmhouse on Sacandaga lake was so nice and perfect for my husband and I, our adult children, their spouses and our 11 month old granddaughter. The house is very clean and comfortable with plenty of room for us all. The screened in porch was lovely for mealtime. The kitchen was well equipped and all of the appliances looked relatively new. Our favorite part was the dock on the lake for fishing, boating and swimming. Bob is an amazing host that made sure we had everything we needed!

Excellent home. Pack lightly. Everything you need is supplied. Owner is quick to respond to any questions. He ever brought me ice packs when my hip acted up. View from the mountain was awesome. The porch was super and was our hangout site for games. Beds were comfortable. AIR conditioning worked great during a very hot week.We will be repeat customers as this place has it all. Best VRBO rental ever.

We loved our stay at the Red Farm House! Bob and Ann have a beautiful home! We've been renting homes for over 10 years now for vacations and this was one of the cleanest we've ever stayed in! The views and short walk down the hill to water and floating dock were amazing! We used the paddle board and kayaks every day! The porch was our overall favorite place to spend time in the house. Communicating with Bob was super easy and he was very responsive. As a family we played cards, puzzles and Jenga that were in the house. The kitchen is fully stocked and we made many meals through the week. Nearby you have the general store for breakfast and lunch, Biscuits Bakery and Rocco's in Corinth, and a 30 minute drive to everything in Lake George. The must do's are Revolution Rail, Adirondack Adventures, Natural Stone Bridge, and taking a sunset cruise on Lake George. So much to do in the area and a great place to stay thanks to Bob and Ann!

From the moment we arrived at the Red Farmhouse, we felt at home. Welcomed by our wonderful host Bob, we quickly settled in and enjoyed our week long stay. The house has everything you need. Wonderful comfy king beds and a/c in each room. We love to cook and we found all the amenities needed from a wonderful grill and barbecue to a full spice cabinet! The puzzles and games in the living room kept us occupied but the gem of the house is the screened in porch. We enjoyed reading, playing games and dining at the large table. We had a fire in the fire pit and watched an amazing sunset. Dock is great and easily accessible by car if you don’t want to walk down the hill. We swam and took our fishing boat out several times. The private Mountain is not to be missed……must have 4 wheel drive if not hiking. We went up on our last full day and took in the views of the lake just breathtaking!! We are so happy to have spent the last days of August at this amazing place.

Bob was an excellent host and very responsive to all our needs. He even brought a thermometer over when one of us was sick! The house and property are wonderful! We spent all our time hanging out on the screen porch and enjoyed all the scenic beauty, bird calls and were entertained by a pair of chickadees going in and out of their nest a few feet away. The house is well stocked with dishes, cookware and spices. The fireplace in the living room was great for winding down in the evening. I would highly recommend this property!

Great place!

We loved the house and the hosts are second to none! Great place to relax and fish! The fishing was excellent with about 50 smallmouth caught over three days of fishing.

This is a terrific property with a great host. The screened-in porch is the perfect place to relax, the bedrooms were comfortable and the kitchen had new appliances. The dock is very nice; it's easy to swim and there also are kayaks and a canoe. The owner provided chairs down on the dock as well. In terms of the area, there's hiking, boat rentals, and small towns all around--mostly a 20-30 minute drive. We did a pontoon boat rental for an afternoon from Majestic Mountain Marina, which is right down the road, and had a terrific time out on the lake. I didn't love the traffic noise, as the road is quite busy, but that was mostly during the day and it was quieter in the morning & evening. I would say the only downside is the very steep hill going down to the lake. Mercifully there is the option to drive down, because one of my family recently had a dislocated knee and was not able to walk down. (I enjoyed the walk - it was a good workout!)

We had an amazing time at the house! The lake is beautiful and the house is comfortable and clean, just as pictured. The kids enjoyed taking out the kayaks and paddle board, fishing, and swimming off the dock. Bob is fantastic...friendly and very responsive with any questions. Everything was wonderful, we really appreciate you having us stay!

Sacandaga Lake

This is a great spot. House is updated with everything you need for the week. New appliances, beds are comfortable and clean. Plenty of space to sit and relax with family inside and out. Updated furniture on screened in porch for meals. Dock has private access to water, picnic table, sitting area on dock with awning, owner allows use of boats and life jackets. Bob the owner very welcoming and attentive to ensure a great stay.

Relaxing lakeside stay!

We had a great week at Bob & Ann's comfortable cottage! It's a good layout for extended families with 2 king bed bedrooms on the 1st floor & a larger bedroom with 2 queen beds upstairs. The screened-in porch gets a lovely breeze & there's new furniture that comfortably seats 6 for dining & 4 more casually. The kitchen has everything you need & new appliances. Our boys had a blast jumping off the dock & hiking up the mountain right in front of the property. Bob is helpful for anything you might need & is one of the nicest hosts we've stayed with. Bring your s'more fixings for the firepit! This would be a cozy spot for fall stays too, there's a beautiful fireplace in the LR.

The cabin is really sweet. It had plenty of room for 6 people. We were a family of 5 and our German Shorthair Pointer. He loved being at the lake. Bob the owner has to be the best host ever! He was available instantly for any questions you may have. Kitchen has excellent pots and any kind of coffee maker you need. My husband and I did hike up and down to the dock on the lake, but we were glad Bob also has access right to his dock by a road very close to house. We literally lived on the great screened in porch! We had our coffee there in the mornings and every dinner.we.ate there. We did travel to fun places like Lake George, Bolton Landing , Northville etc. We did white water rafting, the Revolution Railway, Steamboat at Lake George and lots of hiking. We enjoyed our stay

Me, my mom, my uncle and my dog Barney had a lovely and relaxing stay at Bob’s Hadley cottage. We spent a lot of time on the porch and deck, enjoying the view of the lake down the hill. The cottage was perfect for us because it has two bedrooms on the main floor and just a few small steps to get to the yard, since my dog is 14 and a couple of us are 75 years or older.Bob was an extremely responsive and friendly host who greeted us upon our arrival. We knew we could reach out to him about anything should we need it.We prefer to unwind and do very little on our September vacations, but there was plenty to do, such as boating, hiking, etc. If you wanted. We did drive up to the Hadley Overlook a couple of times to take in the beautiful view. I enjoyed doing a puzzle at a table with great lighting perfectly positioned in front of the window so you can take in the view at the same time. And we enjoyed making a couple of fires in the terrific fireplace, and one outdoors as well at the fire pit. We will definitely keep this great cottage in mind for future vacations!

A wonderful time at a terrific property

My wife, our two well behaved, mature dogs and I just returned from a glorious week at Bob and Ann's beautiful Lake Sacandaga, fully renovated farmhouse. The home is located a short walk from the lake and a lovely dock where there are kayaks and canoes available for your boating pleasure. If you prefer the mountains, Bob and Ann have over 200 acres of private property including a 40 minute walk to the top of small mountain where you will enjoy spectacular views of the Great Sacandaga Lake! We also enjoyed hiking the Tenant Creek Falls trail, about 45 minutes from the house, that led to three gorgeous waterfalls. We went to Northville about 30 minutes from the house where there are several good restaurants. We particularly enjoyed the The Local Dining and Spirits restaurant on Main Street. Bob is an incredibly nice host and he was always available to answer our questions and suggest dining options, including La Cosina Mexicana, in Queensbury. The food was amazing! You will not be disappointed by this lovely home and all it has to offer!

We loved our stay at Bob's Adirondack Lakefront Cottage in Hadley! At first, I thought the rental included the entire 210 acres directly on the property, but the house is actually across the street. You still have access to the 210 acres across the lawn where Bob and his family live, which is where the hike up to the mountain and off-grid cabin starts. This setup worked out even better as it felt much safer and more comfortable than being completely isolated on such a large empty property. The home itself was very peaceful, and we felt secure the whole time.Some highlights: sitting out on the porch patio and down by the dock were favorite relaxing spots, and the hike to the top of the mountain overlooking the lake and off-grid cabin was well worth the 45-minute climb, a true trip highlight. The dock has been updated from what you see in some of the older photos due to wind blowing the previous furniture structure away. There’s now an umbrella tied to the dock and a picnic table, which made it perfect for shade on sunny days. We also made a fire and had s’mores with the provided s'more sticks, such a fun bonus!Bob was a wonderful host, very communicative, and made sure everything we needed was in place. A top stay overall, and one I’d definitely recommend for anyone looking for peace and nature. We hope to be back next year!

Perfect Lakeside Getaway!

We were 2 couples and were very comfortable. “The Shack” (as the owner calls it) has 2 perfectly well-outfitted private bedrooms on the first floor and a bath with shower off the kitchen. The open upstairs has 2 queen beds and a full bath with a tub. There is a great room with plenty of seating and a beautiful fireplace. There’s a deck with both a gas grill and charcoal grill. The appliances inside the house were all brand new. We brought our own beach towels, but there were plenty of towels. The spacious fully screened porch had a table that can seat 8 comfortably and also had a seating area. While the house is on the lake, we seniors opted to drive down to the dock as the walk down hill is a little steep. Lakeside there is a picnic table by the brand-new dock that has deck chairs and an umbrella. There is internet service, but no cell service. The owner, Bob, who resides just up the hill, was extremely personable and accommodating. We would (and already have) highly recommend “The Shack” to everyone we’ve spoken to since our return home. If you’re looking for a peaceful, quiet, well outfitted classic Adirondack vacation lake property, look no further. We will keep this vacation spot in the win & repeat column. Thanks Bob

Relaxing Week in a Beautiful Setting

First I want to compliment and thank the owner Bob who was very accommidating to our family. My husband, me, kids (late 30's)and granddaughters spent the week. We flew in from Florida so we were not able to bring things we might have needed in a VRBO. Bobs mountain (yes mountain) and surrounding area is gorgeous. The girls loved swimming in the lake and one evening we ate dinner on the top of the mountain and watched the sun set over the lake. The house is very cozy and does not feel like a rental. The kitchen has tons of dishes, pots, pans, spices, and nice appliances. The bedrooms are comfortable. My granddaughters who re 2 and 5 had all they needed for the week to be entertained with toys, books, highchair, pack and play, safety gates for the stairs, life jackets, and a beautiful backyard to run and roll down the hill, gather leaves and just look at the sky. The fire pit is large and great for smores. We bought the fixings and they have everything else, wood and roasting sticks. My favorite thing about the house was the screen porch! We relaxed and ate on the porch all week. There is great new furniture and a deck with 2 grills. The only thing I could caution others about is the steep hike to the lake from the house which I didn't realize. If you are older and not used to walking on steep terrain you can drive around the corner down to the lake but it is tight and there is just a small area to park. The dock, kayaks, and canoes were enjoyed by all.
