Visit Mt Washington via car or the cog railway, go tubing on the Saco, try mountain biking at Attitash, or enjoy mini golf and shopping in North Conway. Golfers take note that Jackson is home to two picturesque golf courses. You can swim in the Ellis River just a short walk from the house. North Conway's Echo Lake State Park with its Cathedral Ledge views is also 15 minutes away (reservations recommended).

At the end of your hiking or skiing day, relax in the jacuzzi under the stars, along with the rush of the Ellis River. Close by the quaint town of Jackson offers country stores, restaurants, and Jackson Falls. Fast internet. We love the location of this house, which is adjacent to the Jackson Foundation Ski Touring Center Ellis River Trail. You can walk into the town of Jackson for breakfast or hot cocoa in about ten minutes, yet when at the house no other properties are visible. For those who need to check in with the office, the house has fast wifi and a desk in one of the bedrooms. Have an electric car? There is a Level 2 charger in the 2-car garage.

Looking at the pictures, you will see that this is not a typical rental home. We bought this house in late 2023 as our vacation home which we are sharing with a few other families. It has been lovingly furnished with Hubbardton Forge and Ugone lighting, a Mid-Century Modern Erik Buch Bar, and every kitchen appliance you might need - a burr coffee grinder, a waffle iron, Cuisinart food processor and coffee maker, mixer, blender, and stick food processor. The livingroom sofa has 3 built-in recliners, and there is a 75 inch Sony TV for streaming. Relax in a Jacuzzi hot tub under the stars after a day of skiing. We provide garage access via an app and a Level 2 charger.

"The listing undersells how nice this place is. We shared the house with another family for a wedding long weekend, and there was plenty of room and also comfortable spaces for sitting around chatting. Excellent big kitchen. Proximity to the Ellis River is a huge plus: the house is just a few minutes’ walk on woodsy ski trails from a secluded swimming hole where we waded in and cooled off in the hot afternoons. The view off the deck, of those three hills, is indeed splendid, but what the pictures don’t show is that if you look the other way you can see the summit of Mt. Washington. And the owners went above and beyond after we accidentally left a favorite pillow, and wrote to them in a panic – they immediately found it and helped us get it back. Strongest recommendation. "
