A una cuadra y media de la playa, restaurantes, paseo marítimo, tiendas y FunLand. El lugar perfecto para que todos se reúnan. Mucho espacio con 8 dormitorios y 6 baños. Tenemos una habitación en el primer piso, cuatro habitaciones en el segundo piso y 3 habitaciones en el tercer piso. Todas las habitaciones y baños son amplios, actualizados y cómodos. El porche delantero es un lugar muy relajante para sentarse y disfrutar del tiempo con familiares y amigos. Cocina a estrenar. Listo para el verano de 2014.

Summer Beach Family Vacation

Great house, full kitchen and supplies, beach chairs, toys. Great bedrooms, games, puzzles and kids books. Easy walk to the beach, boardwalk, stores and restaurants. Great time for grandparents, kids and grandkids.

Great week at a beautiful house!

My family and I rented the gray whale for a week summer vacation. The house was beautifully done and well maintained. We were close to the beach and the kids loved Funland. We will definitely be back another summer at the Gray Whale. Elizabeth was great to work with and everything was seamless. Thank you for a wonderful week with a lot of great memories!

Perfect

Perfect home for a family get-away. The property was very clean and well-appointed. Beds were comfy and one could sleep without hearing everyone else moving about in the house. Beautiful front porch and back yard patio. A lot of fun hours were spent outside as well as well as inside. Highly recommend this historic, beautiful home.

Great Rehoboth Beach House!

We are long time Rehoboth Beach house renters and this house was wonderful! The location is fantastic being so close to the beach and boardwalk. There was plenty of elbow room for our large family. The kitchen is very spacious and had really nice appliances. The outdoor space in the back is great and we spent a lot of time on the fantastic front porch. They had really nice beach chairs that we used daily. Everything we needed was there and well organized. There is plenty of parking in the driveway too. Elizabeth was very helpful and extremely responsive throughout it all. We will definitely be back next year!

Fantastic house and property.

The house is lovely and very functional. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, and the living space is ample and nicely spread out. The back patio and front porch are pleasant and useful extensions of that space. The owners provide far more beach paraphernalia than we've experienced in other homes--beach chairs, beach towels, sand toys, and a caddy for transporting the equipment to the beach. The appliances are new and very efficient. The house was perfect for our large family of children and grandchildren. The house is located a block from the main street and two blocks from the boardwalk (a feature our grandchildren loved), but the street is quiet and pretty. We loved the house and its location, and will be back next year!

Perfect vacation rental!

Beautiful, spacious, well-appointed and inviting. Everything was perfect for our family celebration. Elizabeth was a delight to work with and had everything organized and was available for any questions. Everyone agreed that sitting on the porch was their favorite activity! The location was fantastic and having off-street parking a major plus. What a fantastic find! Dinner at Espuma on our final night was the perfect ending to our week.

Wonderful Family Vacation!

We came to Rehoboth with our family of 16 and 3 children for the first time. We made the right choice by choosing 55 Delware Ave. The house was absolutely amazing. It was extremely clean upon check in and is very well taken care of. The house is full of beautiful furniture and decor and it is evident the owner takes pride in their property. There is a beautiful, BRAND NEW patio out the back which was great for gathering after the beach or dinner. The front porch is nice and big with plenty of seating including another table. We sat out there every night. The house is in walking distance to both the town and the beach and the only time we drove anywhere was the first night to the supermarket. Elizabeth, the owner, is more than responsive. She was wonderful and accommodated all of our needs, including sending our clothes back to us that we left in the closet. This was the best experience our family ever had with renting a house. We will definitely be back! Thanks for helping us create wonderful memories!

amazing property

great experience! due to 2 snow storms we had to move our trip twice. The owner is very easy to work with and was able to accommodate our change in dates. The house is very clean, lacks for nothing. The description on Homeaway was exactly accurate. the best part was the fire pit. on a cold cold night we where able to start a big fire and enjoy the outdoors.

Awesome beach house

Our beach volleyball team had an awesome weekend last spring at this fabulous beach house. Close walking distance to the beach, the house was perfectly decorated and updated, and we had ample parking in the driveway. We hope to stay there again in 2016! Elizabeth the owner was very accommodating and helpful in planning our weekend.

Beautiful and welcoming

Our company was looking for the perfect location to do our annual retreat, and we have a team that we wanted to challenge and push boundaries with. Putting everyone in a house sounded ambitious, but when we found this property we believed we could do it. We cam in Wednesday night and everything was clean and ready, the home was spacious, neat, and tidy, and it immediately put us in the atmosphere of true family that led us have the most productive and ambitious retreat in our history. Folks were comfortable and connected. All of this was made possible by the property owner's positive and proactive negotiation of the details in advance, and she was available and friendly at any time for any issues we had. Would come back here every fall if we could.

This restored home was a wonderful location for our family reunion. The owner has made many improvements and updates making this home very comfortable and well appointed. It is a short walk to the beach, boardwalk, Funland and Rehoboth Avenue.

Family Reunion with The Justice's On July 4th~!

My brother Joe is absolutely spot on when he said not to change a thing! This home is so lovely, and the owners are absolutely amazing, you will LOVE using this house as your next memory maker for your get together! The home has 3 incredible levels, with so many bedrooms and bathrooms, but the amazing porch is probably most likely where you spend most of your time, sipping cocktails and getting caught up with one another! The straight walk to the beach also helped burn those extra vacation calories and the close proximity to all the action was also a huge plus! Elizabeth, thank you so much for Max's dog, he LOVED it, and it made it back safely with us to New Mexico! We all can't WAIT to come back and hang out at Rehoboth Beach and stay here again!! Thank you for your hospitality and kindness, I think this is what sets you all apart from the other vacation rentals! Love and hugs, The DuBerry Family! <3 PS: Max says "Hiiii" to Elizabeth~!!

We have been coming to Rehoboth every year, less one, since 1977. This year we were 14 relatives ranging in ages from 1 to 79 years. I thank Elizabeth Rhodes for the comfy beds, lovely kitchen and overall cleanliness of 55 Delaware. We will return😎.

Everyone had a wonderful Rahobeth Beach Vacation.

Property was well maintained and clean. Our room was great(#4); and, the kitchen was very well appointed. Two refrigerators was really helpful, especially for a large group that ate dinner in five of the seven days. Everyone loved the large front porch. I only have three items that would significantly enhance one's stay. If a ice maker would be installed in the second refrigerator it would lessen the burden on the LE refrigerator in the kitchen. Second, a bucket and mop would be really handy to clean the kitchen floor, sweeping it with a broom can only pick up dirt, but not any spills, etc. Finally, and I could have taken care of this myself if I had a screwdriver, but the pump on the front screen door needs to be slightly relaxed so that it can close completely on its own. Currently, it stays open a quarter of an inch unless someone pushes it completely shut. Otherwise, a great time was had by all. Thanks for letting us use your wonderful beach house.

Making Memories at the Gray Whale

Our stay at the Gray Whale was a home away from home experience. We had a family wedding and brought my 78 year old mother-in-law (whom just went through a battle with cancer) to stay with us at the Gray Whale. Her comfort was my top priority when searching for a place to stay. From the initial contact the owners were beyond gracious to accommodate our needs The home is beautifully decorated and inviting, the beds are comfortable and the location is perfect. Family that came to visit all loved the home. It was a wonderful stay and would love to book the Gray Whale in the near future.

AMAZING Time!

This house is beautiful! Everything is freshly painted and updated. The layout of the house makes for keeping the noise isolated to the floor and rooms. Small children slept soundly upstairs while the adults laughed loudly downstairs. Just steps from the beach, an easy walk for both small children and adults! The front porch is inviting and a great place to relax outside in the fresh air and shade. We'll be back for sure!

Loved it!! Beach is so close!! House is Charming!

Our family had the BEST time!! There was more than enough space for our large family and the house had such a great welcoming charm to it!! The porch is perfect for early morning coffee and reflection--LOVED IT!! I also really enjoyed the bicycles and riding up and down the boardwalk--so much fun with my kids! I definitely will be coming back--getting ready to book for 2015!!! Thank you again!!

Best Family Vacation Ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :))))

When we 1st looked for a place to vacation in Rehoboth we were unified as a Family that we all wanted to stay at one place close to Rehoboth Ave and the Funland/Beach. This definitely was the place. I was leery to write a review due to selfish reasons in fear that it wouldn't be available next time we wanted to rent it. We maxed the place out with 20 occupants and did not once feel like we were stepping on each others toes. I would highly recommend this for a small family reunion or just a week together at the beach. Either way you will not regret it. The Family that owns this place is very personable and kindhearted. I will never stay anywhere else when we come back North to visit our childhood vacation destination.

Outstanding beach house

The beach house was clean, beautifully decorated, wonderful appliances and kitchenware and very comfortable mattresses. The owner was gracious and extremely helpful and responsive. I felt like we made a new friend. Home within walking distance to beach, shopping and amusements. My young grandchildren loved the stay and helping to tend the beautiful flower gardens. Shed was stocked with beach chairs and sand toys. I brought beach towels but really no need as the mud room had many. Loved the property and we had a great time.
