Great Week At The Beach

This was the perfect location for our week at the beach! The unit was perfectly equipped for all our needs. Everything was clean and updated to provide us a worry free and enjoyable stay!

Perfect location

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Carmen’s cottage. The location was just across the street from the beautiful gulf. Her decor throughout had the perfect “beachy” vibe. We just loved having our morning coffee every morning on the deck . Highly recommend this cottage!!

Another great vacation in IRB!

The cottage is lovely -- clean, organized, wonderful decor! We loved the close proximity to the beach and all of our favorite restaurants. We also appreciated Carmen's quick responses to our text questions. Hope to return one day!

Home away from home—just as comfy and clean!

We were very pleased and very comfortable (2 adults and our 3 year old kiddo). The house was clean and perfectly located to the beach—a short walk across the street at the crosswalk. No complaints—none! We enjoyed our family/beach/vacation time and this house was perfect for us.

Amazing place

January 2nd thru Jan 16th This place was amazing. Thank you Carmen for answering any questions i had. The location to the beach was great. House had everything we needed. 5 Star Stay!

Communication with Carmen was excellent. She was always quick to respond. Check-in was easy. The home was spotless and very comfortable. Wonderful location. It was a short walk across the street from the beach. Beach cart, chairs and towels are provided. It was a very walkable neighborhood with a nature preserve just down the street, and several shops and restaurants within walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the property.

Great value

Great location, wished there had been bikes and umbrellas for beach. Super cute and beautiful kitchen. Perhaps having salt and pepper, coffee, shower gel and lotion would be helpful. We did have to go get those items. I would rent again though.

Spring Break 2023

We had a wonderful time staying at Carmen's place. Everything was clean and cozy! I would recommend bringing your own beach chairs (if you prefer them) and bicycles, if you don't want to rent them. There are lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance, north and south of the cottage, but some of them were a little bit of a longer walk, as the week went on. Bicycles would have been a welcomed amenity but not a deal breaker! We would definitely stay here again! Thanks, Carmen, for being so responsive!

Fantastic experience!

I have been coming to this area for over 10 years with my friends and family, primarily at Christmas and spring break times, sometimes in the fall. Depending on the size of our group, we have stayed at various rentals, some multiple years in a row. This year we decided to go across the street instead of on the water. To say I was unsure would be an understatement, but from the moment we arrived, our time at this property was outstanding! It truly did feel like a home, and so many things were thoughtfully done…so much more than other properties we have stayed at. it was exceptionally clean, we were able to have an early check in, the thoughtfulness of cleaning supplies, trash, bags, paper towels, toilet paper, toiletries, etc., was so much more than I have experienced at any other rental property. Again, going more towards a home feel than a rental. Carmen was outstanding to work with, and the property was amazing. It was an easy access to the beach, just across the street, and both chairs and a wagon were provided which made it super easy and convenient. We will absolutely be returning to this property, and appreciate the hospitality and wonderful experience so much! Highly recommended!

Beach Vacation

The location of this property was excellent! Close to the beach and local restaurants. Overall the property was as described and the host very responsive. There were minor details that could have been addressed-the ceiling fans and vents were very dirty/dusty and there were no clearly defined check out instructions, like we are use to- but nothing that would prohibit us from staying again! Thank you!

Spring Break Fun

Absolutely beautiful property with plenty of room for the two of us. Spectacular location with easy access to the beach. It literally took 5 minutes from the time we left the rental to walk across the street and onto the beach, find our spot, put down our beach chairs, and start enjoying the sun, sand, and surf! The rental was very clean with plenty of towels and kitchenware available for us to make some meals. We were able to walk to several places as well for lunch/dinner, but we also enjoyed exploring several locations just a short drive away. Communication with Carmen was exceptional. Any question we had was answered quickly. Highly recommend this place! We would definitely return.

Great Location Near The Beach

We really enjoyed our stay at Carmen's place. The place is very clean and the beach is a two-minute walk across the street from the apartment. There are also many good restaurants within walking distance. The kitchen is stocked well, although we did not prepare dinner there, it's nice to know it has some utensils for cooking if needed. The was a minor issue where the shower in one of the bathrooms drained very slowly. We texted Carment to let her know about it, and she apologized for that and had someone over within 24 hours to fix it. Communication with Carment was wonderful - she always responded very quickly. The apartment is near a busy street, but the bedrooms are not directly on the street and the apartment is well insulated so we did not hear the traffic in the bedroom. My wife mentioned that she liked to sit out on the deck, but the traffic was a bit loud at times on the deck. Overall, we had wonderful stay and we were sorry we couldn't stay longer!

First Vacation at Indian Rocks

10 out of 10. 5 stars. A great place to stay and enjoy all the area has to offer. My wife and I will be back if Carmen will have us. We thank her so much for allowing us to stay in her outstanding rental. We are happy happy happy.

Perfect Beach Getaway!

We had a wonderful experience at Carmen’s cozy cottage, it is perfectly decorated and very homey. The location is very convenient (only a short walk) to the beach. The place fully met our needs. Carmen is the most thoughtful, gracious host as she was very helpful and readily available during our stay. We enjoyed hanging out on the terrace in the mornings and had a great use of the backyard for BBQ in the evenings. A super smooth stay. Location is incredible. Would absolutely recommend to stay there!

Absolutely loved my time at the beach!

Everything was as pictured. Carmen was a pleasure to deal with. The little things were all taken care of. It was right across the street from access to the beach. Part of my trip included working and I was able to setup a cozy spot for my “office”. It was perfect.

Beautiful home steps from the beach

We loved staying with Carmen! She was a great host and super responsive to our requests. We were able to work (we turned the second bedroom into an office), cook, exercise, and do everything two people need to do during our two week stay. It was incredible beautiful and designed to make it easy to do all the things! Plus, the bedroom is super quiet. We also made great use of the upstairs porch, which is on the road, but has a great view and ambience. The best part of the home is how close it is to the beach. We went down for sunset almost every night.

Great place by the beach

Loved staying here for a week. The unit is a 90 second walk from the beach, and there’s plenty of parking off the street to keep a car to get around. Even though it’s on a main road, you can’t really tell. Beds are comfortable, and the house is clean. The showers are huge, too. AC works great and there are ceiling fans in the rooms. Carmen was great and answered quickly and offered her phone number for any problems or questions. If I had to have one complaint, it would be the provided grill. It hasn’t been cleaned in a while, and resulted in a lovely grease fire while cooking burgers. Alls good though, food was still great, and we kept it under control. Thanks for a great stay over Christmas!

IRB Spring Break 2019

Another wonderful stay at this cozy cottage. We had a great time, the weather was wonderful, and we made it to many local restaurants and breweries. The home was clean, stocked with all sorts of gadgets and kitchen utensils, which we appreciated. Thanks for renting to us!
