Enjoy the surrounding area with skiing, tubing, hiking, fishing, kayaking, rafting, shopping and gem mining during the day while enjoying the pool, spa and views of the ski slopes at night. Lots to do and see in Banner Elk and other local towns. Plenty of restaurants to choose from. Friendly environment for the entire family.
Gated community, plenty of parking located near the guard gate with shuttle service to the top of the mountain.

Highly Recommend

We would highly recommend this property. The condo was very clean, had amazing views, and the owner was quick to answer all of our questions before we arrived for our stay. I even did a Little Rock climbing on the property. Ssshhhhh, don’t tell anyone! We hope to stay there again soon!

Well equipped

Nice place, great for the kids. The unit was well equipped with all the little things that a lot of places throw out after each guest which is both frustrating and wasteful. My only complaint would be one of the bathroom doors would not shut but it appears it just needs some adjusting. Perhaps that can be resolved.

Ski getaway

This property was perfect for a ski getaway with the family. The location was perfect as we were able to walk to the ski lifts, the shuttle service to the parking lots where we kept our ski gear was timely and the drivers were super friendly. The resort itself had a nice pool, two hot tubs and a little pantry with great snacks to purchase. The condo had a great view, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen had all the things we needed to be able to bring in our own food and make all the meals. The only thing to be cautious of is if going in the winter and there is snow in the forecast, make sure you either have 4 wheel drive or bring everything you may need for a few days till the weather clears up. Lastly, communication with the host was amazing, the best I have had with an VRBO property. He communicated all the information we needed before hand and promplty answered any questions I had.

Sugar Top

We had a nice mini ski vacation. Place is a quick shuttle and walk to the lift. We got fresh snow two days and enjoyed our visit. The place is clean and cozy.

Gorgeous Place, Owner went above and beyond, wish parking situation was better

This condo was simply amazing. Clean, comfy, and everything you could want is here. I love cooking, and appreciated the fully outfitted kitchen. There was so much attention to detail I have to imagine the owner must spend a good amount of time here. Games for kids, extra linens, and al very clean. I had a few questions, and the owner responded to each within minutes. One of the things about Sugar Top (that has nothing to do with this unit) is that there is no parking on site. You have to take a shuttle to and from your car. This was a real hassle, but on the other hand the property has a pool, a hot tub, and this particular unit is just fantastic - so as long as you know what the property entails you can't go wrong here.

We will definitely be back

5 out of 5. We had a great trip and the condo was perfect. Location, ease of booking, and cleanliness were awesome! Communication was quick and easy, not to mention the owners were extremely caring and sweet. They went out of their way to make sure we had a relaxing weekend before the crazy holidays. We did, and will definitely be coming back!
