2 comfortable bedrooms, loft, dining, living area with natural gas fireplace heater, electric heat in each room, sun porch, entry porch with couch, chairs and TV. High speed Internet, outdoor covered porch, two deck areas, beach and dock. Kayaks, canoes and boats available.

Absolutely beautiful, comfortable cabin, witb everything we could possibly need. Nicely decorated. So many great places to hang out, including a small covered side porch, an all weather room with huge windows facing the lake, an open side porch, a deck down a few steps, and the beach with a fire pit. Simply a wonderful, peaceful, beautiful place to stay. My son said it’s the best place we’ve stayed so far on our annual trip up north!

Lovely home on Black Lake! Enjoyed the outdoor seating and living room with huge windows overlooking lake. Beautiful setting for quality time together! Everything we needed was in the home and owner quickly replied to my message.

Had an enjoyable stay at Black Lake. Cottage was clean and furniture comfy.. There are quite a few stairs to get to the lake which provided beautiful sunsets. My spouse and granddaughter enjoyed the kayaks which were on site.Kitchen was well stocked and provided all we needed to prepare our meals. Two lovely decks enhanced the stay.

Relaxing and peaceful

Beautiful cabin with great views and gorgeous sweetpeas. It was well stocked with all the essentials needed. Peaceful and quiet location great to get away from the hectic work schedule.

Great little spot to enjoy the area and lake. The cabin was clean and stocked. Great views of the lake and nice little spots to hang out around the property. Due to weather and plans, didn’t get to utilize the complimentary bikes or kayaks but it was a nice option to have. Would definitely go back for another vacation.

We had a nice, peaceful stay. The cabin is cozy, clean, and quiet. We took day trips to several areas and enjoyed the deck in the evenings. The weather was too cool to be out on the water - maybe next time!

Beautiful Retreat

This property is the perfect spot to get away from the hussle of life. The views are breathtaking. Are trip was met with storms but that did not dampen our stay. Warm fireplace, snuggly couch, blankets, books and games gave us the perfect setting to relax, enjoy each other, and unwind.We definitely recommend!

A Perfect Get-Away

This cabin on Black Lake is truly a gem. The cozy atmosphere, comfortable beds, and ample seating areas made it feel like home away from home. The cabin was well-equipped with everything I needed, and everything worked flawlessly. The peaceful setting and quiet neighborhood provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of Southeast Michigan. Black Lake itself is so beautiful as well as in close proximity to Ocqueoc Falls, Lake Huron beaches, Rogers City, etc. The weather was absolutely beautiful, making outdoor stuff even more enjoyable. The host was incredibly easy to communicate with and always responsive to my questions. This cabin has definitely been added to my "return list" and I can't wait to come back and experience it all again. Overall, my stay was nothing short of perfect. It provided the much-needed rest and relaxation I was seeking, and I left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. Thanks, Jim, for everything!

Beautiful, cozy cabin

We were very happy with our choice of renting this cabin. It is small but was perfect for four people and our 2 month old. It is very clean, has a beautiful view. One of the best swim areas we have ever had. Only advice is if you are planning on cooking, maybe bring some cooking utensils. Such as spatula, can opener, big spoon. One thing my husband noticed is the handrail down to lake could use some tightening for safety purposes. Overall though this cabin is wonderful! We would totally stay here again.

A peaceful bespoke cabin

My husband and I spent a long weekend and this very well appointed peaceful cabin. It was the perfect location and everything was just so well done and clean. I would highly recommend this cabin. I particularly loved sitting out on the deck each morning with my coffee watching the lake and the birds and the trees.

Beautiful Vacation

It was a very beautiful place and we greatly appreciated the amenities and the view was incredible! Would definitely recommend this place to someone else to rent for vacation!
