Riverside Cottage w/ 70' Private Dock - 5 Minutes From Town!

Families will enjoy the spacious deck and waterfront lot. Boaters will enjoy the private 70' dock and immediate access to the 40-mile inland waterway. Mackinaw City is a short 20 minute drive from the cottage (or venture to Mackinac Island via boat through the Cheboygan lock!) Downtown Cheboygan is less than 5 miles from the cottage.

During the Winter months, we welcome families, snowmobilers and ice-fishermen alike. The river in front of our cottage freezes over completely, which makes ice-fishing a dream!

Beautiful location and nice accommodations. Communicating with host was outstanding! We had an issue with the WiFi, but the response from the host was almost immediate and the problem was resolved promptly. My wife and her girlfriend liked the decor.

Inland waterway

We had three couples stay as we were boating the inland waterway. So the dock was very convenient. All of the accommodations were as presented. With plenty of cooking items available. We ate many meals on the nice deck overlooking the black river.

This was the perfect place to stay and enjoy Lake Huron and the river. We have been visiting each of the Lakes and we enjoyed the stay in the house between our days of adventures. Relaxing throughout the day on the deck and playing games with family were very relaxing moments. The dock allowed us to have fun paddle boarding along the river.

Cottage came just as advertised. Great layout, very clean, lot & lake frontage is very nice! Great location to town and lots of fun things. Would stay again and recommend to others.

Quiet and peaceful

The property is very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed hanging out on the deck. The cottage was very clean and we had great communication with the owners.

Great backyard place

The host was super nice and so thoughtful. She communicated with me very quickly, kindly, and was super helpful. There was a welcome booklet with nearby restaurants, grocery stores, beaches, and other great things. The beds were super comfy to sleep in for sure! They also made sure to keep stocked whatever you could think of (or forgot to pack), which was so incredible. Location is nice and secluded with being in a road back road right in a river. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking to get away!

Perfect

We loved our stay it was close enough to Mackinac City and Mackinaw Island but far enough away to enjoy the quiet of the area. Everything was clean and very comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

Great view

Traveled with the in laws for our annual end of summer/ bridge walk vacation and landed on this gem. I never had to reach out to the owner but she did send me a message about a week prior to the vacation which my family enjoyed. We had 11 people in our group including five under five and the large yard and river were great entertainment for them. We tried to fish a little but it seems like all the fish have been caught in the river but no big deal. The river was quite weedy which was frustrating but obviously not the owners fault. The place was really clean and cared for. We would come back and I would recommend this place to anyone especially if you have a boat. Only about 30 minutes to Mackinaw which was nice and really close to downtown Cheboygan.

Best vacation ever!

To start, we had a last minute unusual request and the hosts were amazing to work with us regarding it. Second, we arrived super late Sunday night and the check in process was so easy my 12 year old took care of it while we unloaded the car. The house was clean, well prepared, extremely close to everything you could imagine. We all absolutely loved the deck and spent many evenings out there playing board games. My husband said it was the first time he hasn't wanted to go home and wanted to stay on vacation. We will definitely be back!
