The Space:

Casa Mar Azul offers six bedrooms and six bathrooms across a generously sized oceanfront property.



Bedroom 1 has a king-size bed; bedrooms 2, 3, and 4 each have two single beds; bedroom 5 has a king-size bed; and the studio has a king-size bed. There are six bathrooms.



The open kitchen adjoins the living room and is equipped with a cooktop, refrigerator, freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, blender, coffee maker, ice maker, and kettle.



Outside you will find a terrace, private garden, and spacious pool deck with a private pool. From the property you have access to the private beach and the Caribbean Sea. After your dive, you can store your gear in the private storage area.

Good to know:

- No dryer: there is no dryer, but clothes dry quickly in the trade winds.

As a guest of Casa Mar Azul, you have access to the entire property: six bedrooms, six bathrooms, the open kitchen, living room, and the outdoor areas including the private garden, terrace, and pool deck with private pool. You will also enjoy nearby beach access, an outdoor kitchen, and free on-site parking.



To warmly welcome our guests and provide an introduction to the accommodation and our beautiful island, we handle all arrivals in person. The Sunwise hosts will coordinate your check-in time with you ahead of your arrival.



The Neighborhood:

South of Kralendijk and toward the salt pans lies one of Bonaire's best-known residential and vacation areas, traditionally associated with Harry Belafonte. Belnem has grown to encompass several upscale neighborhoods, including La Palma, Sabalpalm, Lima, Punt Vierkant, and Playa Esmeralda.



Here, you will be close to popular beaches along the southern coast, such as Bachelor's Beach, as well as iconic dive sites. It is an ideal area for sunsets and relaxed beach life, with a peaceful residential atmosphere and easy access to the airport and Kralendijk.



Casa Mar Azul is approximately 500 meters from Good and More supermarket, 500 meters from Dive Friends Delfins dive center, 50 meters from Bachelor's Beach, 2 kilometers from Lac Bay (windsurfing) and 500 meters from Brass Boer restaurant.



Sunwise insider tip: Just steps from Casa Mar Azul is Bachelor's Beach, a beloved small beach on the southern edge of Kralendijk. A staircase leads down a roughly 3-meter rock face to a narrow, often partially hidden strip of sand. The water here is calm and clear, with great snorkeling over the shallow coral garden close to shore. Water shoes are useful for entry and exit. It is a relaxed spot for a refreshing swim and to end the day overlooking the Caribbean Sea.



Getting Around:

Bonaire and especially the hotspots like Washington Slagbaai National Park, the remote pristine beaches, and the kitesurf and windsurf locations, are best enjoyed with a rental car, as our lovely Caribbean island has so much more to offer beyond the immediate surroundings of Casa Mar Azul. With your own car you can explore remote snorkel spots, dive sites and local restaurants at your own pace. We strongly recommend renting a car so you can get everywhere easily. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for nature areas like the park, a pickup truck or SUV is advisable. The park roads are unpaved and sometimes rough, making a regular car less suitable. There is no public transport on Bonaire and taxis are limited, especially on busy days when a cruise ship is in port.



Other Things to Note:

Check-in to Casa Mar Azul is from 3:00 PM and check-out is until 10:00 AM. Early arrival or late departure may be possible on request, depending on other reservations. Smoking and pets are not allowed in our accommodations, and we kindly ask you to keep noise down at night. Enjoy your stay at Casa Mar Azul!
