Enjoy camping all year round? Now you can! This 4 season glamping experience is open to our guest all year round. Make a campfire anytime of the season and enjoy what Wisconsin Dells (15 min away) has to offer. Escape from the crowd to relax in your own private cabin. Make a campfire, grill up some food, kick back and relax! You'll love the peace and quiet.

The Hillbilly Hilt'n is a unique glamping cabin located in the middle of the 10 acre property. Enjoy a private glamping experience with your friends, family and furry pets. Whether you enjoy hiking the trails on the property, spending your day relaxing around the camp fire or just kicking back in nature away from the hustle and bustle of city life. This is the perfect place for that. With Wisconsin Dells only being 15 minutes away, your options are endless.

This is a Camping/Glamping lodging experience. Self-cleaning by previous guests. Just like camping.

***You will need to bring your own linens and warm blankets, comforters, PILLOW CASES, etc. and your own firewood. Bedding in pix is NOT included....

This is a SELF CLEANING UNIT. You must clean it after your stay. That's why there is no cleaning fee charge.

You will be subject to cleaning fee charge if you leave a mess for the next guest.

Not what i expected

Bathrooms were terrible,contact with owner or the management was a complete challenge. not reachable and poor,mice in the roof,cob webs all over the cabin and not very clean,dissapointing and not worth the price.

It was okay

We were aware that we were in the wilderness and outside there would be all kinds of bugs. We were also aware that the bathrooms were outside but we did not know we had to share bathrooms and it felt awkward if you had to shower. They were mice in the bed. We contacted the host and replied that it was normal and to keep doors closed to prevent that but due to that we left a day early because we could not sleep as we kept hearing the mice and running across the bed. Overall it was an okay stay.

Wonderful Hosts!

After an unexpected hiccup with our initial plans, we ended up staying at the Hideaway Retreat rather than the Hillbilly (as booked). The host was so understanding and went above and beyond to accomodate us. The cabins and property are so fun and unique. I could not recommend a better host to book with and can honestly say they have top notch customer service! Bonus, our pup was super comfortable and loved it! We will definitely look to stay again in the future.

Very unique and love the creativity of the place!!

Super cool concept, unique decorations, all the amenities you need, and only 10 minutes from downtown. As a bonus has a nice gotcha as well!! Be prepared to rough it a little as bathroom is not in the physical building, and some decor was creepy to the younger of the two of my kids, but this was super cool overall and definitely worth the stay!!

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

As outdoorsy as we are, we have enjoyed many attractions Wisconsin and neighboring states have to offer. We have found there was a lack of privacy for majority of them as glamp grounds and sites were way too close. We wanted to purchase a property where we can enjoy the space with our family and friends without the interruption of having to be quiet all the time. Because we all know, alcohol around the campfire makes it for a good time, and with that, comes loudness. Now you can be as loud as you please without having to worry about neighbors!

Cabins are private, and away from one another. We are a glamping experience so you will have to bring your own linens and clean up after yourself just like camping. That's why we don't charge any cleaning fee, making your stay affordable and memorable.
