Amenities were lacking, such as paper towels, shampoo dispenser (broken), shower water temp control (seemingly only working at near scalding level). This stated, the location is very convenient to Old Town Scottsdale and restaurant options

The unit is in need of an update. A thorough deep cleaning is needed. I took photos and the host pleasantly responded. The location is great. Amenities were great.

The location was definitely a plus and very convenient, and the price was reasonable, but overall the place didn’t quite live up to expectations. It felt pretty old, and cleanliness was an issue—there was a crusty towel left in the shower when we arrived, which was off‑putting right away. The air freshener was also extremely strong, to the point of being nauseating, and it felt like it might have been trying to cover up another smell.There were a few maintenance concerns as well. The ceiling fan/light fixture in the bedroom looked like it might fall down, and the light flickered in a strange way when adjusting the fan settings. While this was a cheaper option and the location is good, the overall the experience wasn’t great.

This listing was filthy, out of date, and not up to even the lowest standards. Communication with the host was horrible, because it was non-existent. When we arrived, we noticed the back sliding glass door was ajar and upon trying to lock and secure it, we noticed the lock was completely broken and unable to be secured at all- the lock mechanism was broken off. I reached out to the host several times via message and phone and received no communication in return regarding the inability to secure the property. We had to book a hotel last minute due to the unsafe conditions and zero communication we received from the host. Overall, the listing did not feel clean and was in need of a major upgrade as well.

I’m going to recommend you look elsewhere. This was one of the most low-effort Host situations I’ve ever seen (I travel often). A property management company, very slow to respond and slower to do anything. The electrical wiring in this unit is screwy, lights would flicker (including the one directly over the bed in the bedroom) and turned themselves on unexpectedly. It was bizarre, annoying, and seemed unsafe. I let the Host know the first night of my arrival, but he didn’t arrange for someone to look at it until 3 days later. Other issues, such as the heat not working, temperature control in the shower being faulty (hot water was blazingly hot, then with even the slightest turn of the cold dial the shower would become unpleasantly cool). Cookware was damaged, drawers in dresser were broken, etc., etc. It has this feeling of a company maximizing the earning potential of the space, spending as little as possible on it and disregarding their responsibility as a Host.

I would not recommend this property, especially for a single female traveler. I am currently disputing this stay because the unit was not as advertised and I did not feel safe.Upon arrival, there was a strong odor — a combination of what smelled like prior cigarette smoke and a heavy, musty scent throughout the property. The front entrance has a double iron security door, which initially made me think safety was a priority. However, I was extremely concerned to discover that the back sliding glass door was being secured with a broomstick as the locking mechanism.As someone traveling alone and unfamiliar with the area, this did not make me feel safe. I have rented many properties in the Phoenix and Scottsdale areas with sliding doors and have never encountered this issue or felt this uncomfortable.When I contacted the host immediately about the odor and the security concern, my message was not properly addressed until the following day. By then, I had already chosen not to stay overnight due to safety concerns. The host later responded that he would send someone to remove the broomstick, but the delayed response and dismissive tone did not provide reassurance or confidence.Although the property is located in a nice area of Scottsdale, the townhouses are tucked behind a less desirable section , which further contributed to my discomfort.I do not believe guests should have to pay for accommodations where they feel unsafe and unheard.

The property was as described. Great location and very clean although somewhat dated. The unit's air conditioning is very loud, but did not disturb our sleep. It was a good value for the price.
