What I love most is the balance: the peace of small-town life mixed with just enough modern comforts. You can spend the morning surfing or fishing in crystal-clear waters, then grab a coffee from a local café where they still remember your name. The restaurants here are outstanding, blending traditional Mexican flavors with fresh, local ingredients, but without the pretense of big tourist towns. Nights are quiet, filled with the soft hum of cicadas, the occasional bonfire on the beach, and the sight of stars stretching endlessly across the sky.

Guillermo is a founding father of the Cerritos surf scene, one of the original surfers here before the world caught on. At Punta Lobos, he’s not just another fisherman—he’s a respected tournament winner, fishing alongside the local fleet. If you’re looking for a Magazine-worthy experience, from epic waves to deep-sea fishing, you’re in the right hands.
That said, we’re also pros at leaving people in peace. You’re absolutely welcome to opt in or out of whatever level of interaction feels right for you. Some guests want the inside scoop on surf, spearfishing, or where to find the best hidden beaches. Others just want a quiet escape, and we respect that fully.
