This property was designed with families in mind. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, where all day you see families walking to the beach or loading up to go out for a day of boating. It is fun to stay and play right in the yard on the dock. Fishing, swimming, canoeing, paddle-boarding are all right there for your enjoyment. Bicycling, walking, rollerblading along the peninsulas' 2 mile sidewalk is an everyday event. Our canal leads directly out to the Destin Harbor, where the charter fishing boats are docked, from there you can go into the gulf or the bay or anchor right by the Destin Bridge at the popular crab island!

Unbelievable trip

The house was perfect! We trailed the boat down and kept at the house in the water. A short trip to crab island! We had four couples total and everyone had their own bathroom. The owners ate very accommodating!!!!

This is a beautiful home right on the canal short boat ride to crab island. The private slip was perfect to bring our boat, 6 bedrooms with a 2 bdr 2 bath apt on the second floor was great for all our friends and family. Would definitely book again.

Amazing Home

Could not have rented a better home. We absolutely loved the home, the accommodations, the location...proximity to everything we needed. We have 6 adult couples that travel together several times a year. This was one of our favorites rented in the last several years. Ashley was a fantastic host. Just wonderful

This property was immaculate when we arrived. Everyone had wonderful rooms and accommodations was a very large house. We brought our boat with us and having a dock right outside really made our vacation special with just boating minutes away to crab Island.

Great location

House was very nice and in a great neighborhood. Owner was very nice, attentive, and easy to deal with. House is only about a 10 minute ride from many restaurants and the canal in the backyard makes it easy to get to crab island by boat. Our group of 14 had plenty of room to sleep comfortably and we had a great stay.

Great Escape with Old Friends

Place was perfect for some old friends to get together. We golfed and rented a boat. The balcony overlooking the canal was great.

Great Location

The location was perfect. We brought our boat and it was a short ride to Crab Island (which is where we spent most of our time). The house was definitely large enough for 15 of us. The pictures on the listing do need updating as I was expecting a little different. I personally like softer beds, but it wasn’t unbearable. Overall, great trip.

Amazing vacation

Very nice place with lots of room for all 16 of us to relax and sleep comfortably. There were a couple of issues with appliances but Sally were able to repair quickly. Sally also found me a secure place to keep our boat trailers while we enjoyed our vacation. We spent most of our time on crab island but our time at the house was enjoyed sitting around the dock and balcony of the boat house. We will definitely be staying at this beautiful house again next year.

Great vacation home.

We really enjoyed this house. Very spacious, relaxing, and located close to beach. Enjoyed doing a little fishing off the dock behind the house. Would definitely rent this house again.

Wedding weekend crab island

We had a perfect weekend with family and friends!! The host was awesome and her husband even married us on the boat. House was exactly what we needed for our friends and family!! Location was also perfect since we had four jet skis and two pontoon boats. Hope to stay there again!!

Perfect location, fabulous house

The house was fabulous! Clean, well appointed, everything we needed. Plenty of space for three generations to relax together and to spread out when we needed to. We fished in the canal, enjoyed the covered deck, walked to the beach, and rented a pontoon boat to fish in the bay and head out to Crab Island. The location is perfect: a short walk to a gorgeous beach, a quick drive to so many good restaurants, and a lovely boat ride or water taxi to the restaurants on the harbor. Sally was helpful and accommodating. We would vacation in Destin and stay here again in a heartbeat! Highly recommend.

4th of July in Destin

Perfect for the family with lots of room. Great view off back deck of the canal. Short walk to the beach and easy to get to. Sally was great to communicate with and made our first experience in Destin that more enjoyable.

Reunion 2022

We had an amazing time! Sally made sure we could get in at check in time and the house surpassed our expectations. The outside upstairs covered patio is the only one like it in that area. We were able to sit outside and watch enjoy the weather the whole time. And we fished off the dock, which was a blast too!

This neighborhood is located right on the canal. You can call a water taxi and head to eat or enjoy the harbor. Crab island is right by the Destin bridge, which is a 2 mile ride by boat from the house. The beach access is 1/4 mile from the house. There is a boat slip, so it is perfect for a boating weekend. The outdoor kitchen is perfect for entertaining or just hanging out with family. Don’t forget to bring your fishing pole!

The property is located directly on the water canal. You can lay out, fish, swim, paddle board, or have a boat day. Our outdoor kitchen is perfect for a family get together. The apartment up stairs works great for teens or another family. We are 5 minutes from grocery stores and Target.
