This cozy 1bed 1bath unit has separated rooms so no need to sleep in the living room. Comes equipped with a full kitchen and bathroom as well as comes with complementary internet and Netflix services to stream on the one of two smart tvs located in the bedroom and living room. Bed room has one queen size bed. Convenient free parking on property. We are conveniently located within 10 minutes of multiple restaurants, shopping centers, Malls, Movie theaters, and other night life activities.

Everything was as advertised. Centrally located. Florida was experiencing a major cold front when we were there and the only heat we had was a small portable heater. Other than that we had a good stay.

We had a wonderful stay and absolutely loved how clean and well-maintained the unit was. The amenities were thoughtful and made the space feel truly comfortable and cozy. We did experience a brief issue with the lights during our showers, but the maintenance team and owner responded immediately and resolved it right away, which we really appreciated.We also loved that the unit is pet-friendly—it meant so much to be able to bring our cats with us. Overall, it was a great experience, and we can’t wait to book this cozy place again whenever we’re back in town!

Listing allowed me to book for 3 adults, but upon arrival we discovered that the couch (assumed to be a pull-out) was not, and no additional bedding was available.To their credit a host met us 30 mins after we arrived and brought bedding, but seemed surprised we were able to book for 3 adults.Location was clean, kitchen seemed equipped for cooking (through we didn’t use it). If it’d only been two of us, this would have been a decent little landing pad. However, I felt cornered… either upend our plans and try to find a place with 3 actual sleeping spots, fight to cancel, etc., or “grin and bear” it for a few days. We chose the latter.Despite having had a few days to update the listing, at the time of this review it still states “sleeps three”

Stayed 2 weeks. Area was older but safe and quiet. Owner/ host was quick to respond and very helpful with any issue. Air conditioning blew cold and the bed was comfortable. Rooms were clean. Loved having the gas stove! Also the microwave was a convection as well as an air fryer. There was plenty of towels and kitchen utensils. Recommended

I had an incredible stay at this Vrbo property in Lakeland, Florida! The home was spotless, well-maintained, and equipped with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable visit. The decor was charming, and the attention to detail was evident throughout. The location was perfect—close to restaurants, shopping, and local attractions, yet peaceful and quiet for a relaxing stay. The host, Jeremiah, was extremely responsive and made sure everything was perfect. I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone visiting Lakeland and look forward to staying here again in the future. A true home away from home!

Nice place, quiet

Enjoyable stay, automatic door entry was a constant problem. The one room apartment was very nice. The property manager was very kind when called about the door issue I had. It was a bit further outside of Lakeland than I realized but the accommodations were nice.

The cottage was quiet and clean. We had lots of options for free TV channels. One suggestion is to add a small bistro table and chairs to make meals more comfortable. The entry method was easy and fast.

It's a nice little 1-bedroom cabin, but it wasn't a good fit for us. It's not the host's fault, but there's a lot of highway noise and the trains blow their horns frequently and at ALL hours.Also, they used an electronic "air freshener" that pumps perfume into the room. As none of the windows operate correctly, the only way to air it out was the front door. And, of course, the smell gets into everything, so it wasn't clear we could ever get it out (even with a fan or something). My wife was reacting strongly to the smell, and, combined with the noise, we'd had enough and checked into a hotel at midnight on the first night of a six night reservation and didn't come back. We got no refund. Not that we were entitled to one, but some accommodation would have been appreciated. Not even an "if we can rent it" offer (and part of our unused reservation was for a weekend).So, if you're a heavy sleeper and not particularly sensitive to smells, it might be just fine for you. We met the couple next door, and they were staying for a month and seemed perfectly happy. Just know what you're getting into and don't expect any sort of refund if it doesn't work out for you.

Life in the VRBO

The property itself was great. The cleanliness was totally acceptable, however there were a few noted problems. There was only one wash cloth, there were no hand bath towels, the soap dispenser was empty, and no hangers in the closet. Other than these minor items it was a very nice place to stay

The bed was beyond uncomfortable. The pillows about crippled me. The water in the kitchen is not clean and leaves a residue on everything. There is no water pressure in the shower. It was nice that there was filtered water in the fridge. The coffee maker was clean. The place itself was clean. It sits next to a loud, major road. The property still had Christmas decorations up, its March. The other residents are quiet. The AC blew all the pollen into the bedroom. Can’t stress enough it was clean.
