Tropical Escape Villa, where the Caribbean sun, sand and sea meets your vacation dreams! This newly built, spacious, peaceful and quiet three bedroom property (all with en-suite bathrooms), is the perfect holiday home for families, couples or a girls getaway. Located within the gated community of Verandah Estates, it is only a five minute walk to the beautiful Long Bay Beach.

Tropical Escape will become your home away from home during your holiday vacation, providing everything you will need for a comfortable stay. Relax in the living room on beautifully appointed furniture while watching your favorite movie or enjoy cooking a wonderful meal in our fully equipped kitchen which can be served in the formal dining room. There are three outdoor areas to enjoy including a poolside patio complete with a gas BBQ grill and dining table and chairs or enjoy a cocktail on the verandah off the main bedrooms while watching the sun set over the flower filled back yard. Enjoy your morning coffee while sitting on the front verandah watching the sun rise in the distance. Tropical Escape has something for everyone to enjoy.

Verandah Estates is part of the Elite Island Resorts group of companies, so access to both Pineapple Beach Club and the Verandah Resort and Spa, which are located adjacent to Verandah Estates, can be utilized for a fee. Enjoy an evening out with dinner and entertainment, book a massage in their spa, or enjoy a full day pass at either of these adults only resorts. Their tour desk can also help to arrange a variety of tours, such as boat/snorkeling trips which leave directly from the resorts, jeep tours, or a variety of other nearby activities. Be adventurous and swim with the stingrays at Stingray City, only 15 minutes away. Or experience the beauty of nature at sunrise at nearby Devil’s Bridge.

We are located in the peace and quiet of the countryside, so a car rental is recommended. We provide contactless check-in, but our villa manager, Cheri Benjamin, lives a block away and will be there to assist you with anything you need.

We were a group of people spending some days in this fabulous villa before going on a sailing trip. We had a great time, the property is beautifully maintained, very clean and well equipped. It was so spacious and comfortable and our host Cheri was extremely helpful and courteous! The area is quiet. Long Bay Beach can be reached by a short walk and having travelled the Island, we can confirm it is one of the best beaches :-) Thank you so much for everything, Cheri!

Had a fantastic week here. Villa was surprisingly large and in a very nice condition. Long beach is a very short walk away but would recommend a car. Driving is not as difficult as I was expecting and the island is small so we managed to see all of the main sites and beaches very easily. Would recommend highly.

Very clean, great pool, nice location, large comfortable rooms, private baths. Would use this property again, for sure. Cari was really great. Plan to use again.

Wonderful in Willikies

Tropical Escape Villa was everything you could want in a vacation home. Located on the quite side of the island it was clean, well maintained and well provisioned. With Long Bay Beach only minutes away and the plunge pool off the back deck you get the best of both worlds. Long Bay Beach is beautiful, calm, and has nice snorkeling! The villa is very close to Devil's Bridge so a rental car to get around and check out Antigua is a must. The host Cheri lives close to the villa and is very responsive, she also takes great care of the pool and property. We would definitely rent Tropical Escape Villa again and highly recommend it!!

My husband and friends and I enjoyed this property. Very clean, Host quick to answer questions, very spacious. We stayed 10 days. This property is about 30 minutes from the airport on a nice property with beach access five minutes away or a very short walk. The roads leading to the property are very rough. Once there, you have to travel to get to any restaurant’s or stores for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can’t drink the water. Property is one mile to Devils Bridge.

I am so glad you enjoyed your annual vacation with your high school friends and we look forward to your return if you ever come back to Antigua. I hope you did get a chance to enjoy the two restaurants which are walkable from the villa, the brand new Long Bay Restaurant and Bar located on the beach and Mama Pasta serving pizza and Italian located right about the beach, while you were here. And yes, Antigua roads on the whole are challenging but I was glad to see your group out and about every day enjoying yourselves! We are a developing country so everyone, including the locals, all drink bottled water, but it is a small price to pay in exchange for access to all of our beautiful beaches. Thank you for coming and keep enjoying your yearly trips with your friends!

Great home away from home

Thank you for an overall Amazing stay. From the moment we booked to the moment we left Cheri was an amazing host. Prior to our arrival, Cheri was in communication with great tips and lots of useful information. The check in process was easy and instructions were clear. We met Cheri within a few minutes of arrival at the property. Any issues that came up during our stay Cheri addressed then quickly and provided updates as needed. The property is great for a group of friend or family. We all loved the layout of the property. We loved the furniture as it felt modern and a home away from home. It is walking distance from the beach, which was great for our morning swims. The drive to the property is a little long, but for what you get it is worth it.

Verandah Estates Vacation

Our family of five from Canada spent nine nights at this property near Long Bay, Antigua and had a great stay. The house itself was obviously renovated very recently and was nice, modern, and spacious. The living quarters were comfortable, and the four bathrooms were great to have for privacy and convenience. And the plunge pool was awesome. Our kids spent hours swimming in the pool when we weren't at the beachNearby Long Bay has a great beach with amenities (and a lifeguard too) and is only a five minute walk away. Long Bay has decent snorkeling too, as there is a coral reef in the bay. Our kids even saw a small stingray, as well as quite a few other fish. Cheri was very responsive and helpful with support for the accommodations and with other travel tips too, which we really appreciated. This side of the Island is a bit quieter then the west side, but there are also some sightseeing options near to the property, such as Devil's Bridge. Other spots to the south are only 20-30 mins away, including Shirley Heights lookout and some other very nice beaches too. All in all, I would definitely recommend this property for an Antigua vacation, especially those looking for self-catering options with a family or small group.
