The Mountain House BNB is a spacious 1,645 sq/ft home, nested in the Ponderosa Basin, an ideal base camp to explore the vivacious Yosemite National Park. Just 17 miles from the main Oakhrust city and 15 miles from Mariposa city, this location is very near to the main attractions of Yosemite including the Giant Sequoias, Chilnualna Falls, Half Dome etc., making the Mountain House as your ideal family vacation, year round getaway or "workstation" destination.

BEDROOM #1 (MASTER)

The master Bedroom is equipped with a King Bed, large sliding door closet space, cabin drawer space for additional storage, candle holder for those romantic nights, full height mirror and an attached bathroom with all bathroom essentials.

- Work Table with all the essentials for kids to be occupied like color and comic books. Can be used as a wok desk by adults

THE ENORMOUS BACKYARD

The Backyard with its natural scenic beauty provides abundant space for the family/ kids to play around. The backyard faces a creek that has running water connecting to the river two blocks away. The neighborhood is blessed with Deer that occasionally visit our neighbors and front yard and if you get lucky, you can spend some quality time with these guests!

The contemporary Fireplace, Propane Grill and String lights provide the best possible ambience in the evening to have some quality outdoor time. During the day, you can hang the Hammock on the Trees adjacent to the Fire Place (look for the back belt wrapped around the 2 trees) Hammock is kept inside the closet of the Game Room. You can connect it to the hook provided in the black belt and utilize it for a light nap or reading space below the shade of the trees.
