About this space
If you're looking to stay somewhere in the country that feels like home this is it! This getaway is nestled in the outskirts of the bourbon capital. We are conveniently located 6 miles from downtown Bardstown where you can find shopping, dining and nightlife. We also located next door to McIntyre & Family Winery. During your stay make sure to check out the tasting room there!!

Bourbon trip

A nice and quiet place in a country setting. The house is not far from downtown Bardstown, which is quite charming. Some of the distilleries are just a short drive and others we had a longer drive, but at the end of the day we had a perfect place to wind down in the evenings Also, the owner responded quickly to all my questions.

Wonderful

Nikki and her crew were wonderful. The house was perfect for us and having the winery right there was amazing. We felt like we were welcomed by everyone there. Everything we needed was there and the house was clean and comfortable. We would definitely book again!

Base House

We used this house as a base for day trips around Bardstown. We toured distilleries, Fort Knox, attended the Stephen Foster story, and shopping. It was a nice house for a family get together (3 brother/sister couples). We had originally thought there was a grill there, but we had no trouble locating some great places to eat. I would stay here again and recommend it to others.

Relaxation and Location!

Comfy, cozy and very clean with a great location! Communication with owner was excellent. Easy drives to distilleries on the Bourbon Trail. Started the morning with the sunrise on the porch and ended the day relaxing on the wonderful patio with the sunset. The patio also overlooks the winery, didn’t get a chance to visit there, but the view was great! A wonderful and homey place to relax comfortably at the end of the day!

This place was perfect for three older couples to get together for our bourbon trail adventure. The house was clean & had plenty of room. The back deck was spacious & a comfortable place to watch the beautiful sunsets. Just located outside of town, it was quiet, the scenery was beautiful & there's a winery just behind the house. The one con to this place was that the bathrooms need more space to put toiletries & hang towels. Also, the master bathroom does not have an exhaust fan. Other than that, we would definitely stay there again.
