Bienvenido al Honua Kai Resort and Spa, el más nuevo resort de lujo frente a la playa de Maui. Situado en el oeste de Maui, North Ka'anapali Beach ha sido votado como uno de los 10 mejores playas del mundo. Este complejo, inaugurado en 2010, es simplemente increíble y un total de 43 acres de cuidados jardines tropicales. El Honua Kai tiene vestíbulos al aire libre con vista al mar, un gimnasio con lo último en equipos de última generación, piscina con cabañas, tumbonas aqua y jacuzzis, río lento, una piscina de niños zona con fondo de arena, gruta y un tobogán de agua, todos los con vistas al telón de fondo del océano.

También tenemos una suite casi idéntica VRBO # 400530. Si necesita una segunda suite o éste ya está reservado, lo comprobamos por favor hacia fuera. Si necesita algo un poco más grande visita nuestra 1 dormitorio y den VRBO # 554.771 que pueden dormir 6 personas.

Muchos viajeros han comentado que las suites del patio interior, aunque son hermosas, tienen lanais que se miran entre sí, están juntas y, en general, sienten que la privacidad es algo deficiente. Nuestra suite se encuentra en la torre Konea más reciente en la parte tranquila con vistas tranquilo Honoapi'ilani Park, que ofrece privacidad, manteniendo los parciales vistas al mar! La imagen vista desde nuestra terraza es exacta, no usamos un objetivo zoom.

Ho'ola Spa está abierto en nuestra torre Konea. Desde masajes y muchos tratamientos a la sala de sal del Himalaya Spa lo tiene todo.

La suite es el extra grandes 780 sq. Ft. Unidad con bañera de inmersión, ducha y lavabo doble en el cuarto de baño. Cuenta con vistas al mar parciales del 140 sq. Ft. Terraza. Se trata de "llave en mano", con una cocina gourmet con todos los utensilios suministrados y que ofrecen Bosch electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable y encimera de granito. El dormitorio principal tiene una cama king y un televisor HD, un enorme baño privado con ducha y bañera separada y él y ella se hunde. El salón tiene un tamaño queen sofá sofá, pantalla plana de TV de alta definición con reproductor de Blu Ray y una zona de comedor.

También tenemos un dispositivo Roku (similares a Apple TV) conectado para Netflix, Fox News y juegos como Angry Birds para su disfrute.

Buscando lo último en paisaje y la relajación? El Honua Kai tiene todo. Caminar o correr el paseo marítimo de la aldea o bucear Balleneros en Negro Rock. Relájese en la piscina o en el pop de Duke Beach House para el happy hour o cena. Compras está cerca y hay el Mercado Aina Gourmet ubicado en el lobby Hokulani.

Amazing home in Maui

Absolutely beautiful condo in a stunning resort! Unit is exactly as advertised and was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Resort is stunning - great snorkelling right off the beach and pools are lovely. Location was great- just 8 minutes north of Lahaina. Would gladly stay again!

Terrific stay!

This is a great 1-bedroom condo. Very quiet location with a partial view of the ocean. The owners are outstanding communicators throughout the booking/stay process. We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation.

Awesome family vacation

Honua Kai was a great property for our family (mom, dad, 5yr old, and 7yr old). The pools, beach, bbq's, Dukes, and nearby shave ice were all we needed. The condo had everything we needed and more (life jacket and floatie for the kids). The bed was super comfortable and the pullout couch was perfect for the kids. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful unit in newer oceanfront premier complex

Spacious, spotless deluxe unit with all the comforts you could want--well-stocked elegant kitchen, oversize bathroom, premium King size bed, comfy seating for TV, and a bank of floor-to-ceiling glass doors opening onto a large balcony with a partial ocean view great for outdoor meals and relaxing. The multiple beautifully landscaped pools and lounging areas of this newer complex make it hard to choose between hanging out there or at the lovely soft sand beach just steps away where you can use the high end beach chairs & umbrella available in the unit for your use. We LOVED our time staying here and would definitely come again. Be sure to pay attention to the driving instructions for check in since the road to the tower you are in requires driving all the way around to the back -- but it's totally worth it!

A little slice of paradise

The resort was great. Easy check in. The Owner happened to be on site & super responsive. The location couldn't have been better for our stay. Duke's is a favorite of ours & onsite. The view was beautiful. Super easy - free parking. Very easy access to the pools. The unit was very peaceful and quiet. They had beach chairs, umbrellas and toys too use. The only thing Id say is the couch was hard (sofa bed.) Maui was wonderful to us. @MauiStrong! I'd rent the unit again & recommend it!

checked into a condo that was full of trash, sand, unmade bed and food from previous guest.

I was stereotyped from booking process, won over owner (rightfully so), checked in after check in time to a condo that was not ready. Offered to come back, over an hour later, condo still not ready. 6, 4 and 1 year old kids were cold wet and left to wait in a hallway! Terrible!!! I work in hospitality and this was unacceptable!

Fantastic condo and property ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Amazing condo unit on an amazing property! The location can’t be beat, the condo is spacious and clean, quiet, and well stocked. The owners (Jill and Terry) are fantastic to work with and super helpful. Jill personally called me when I initially booked (I’d been communicating with her about one of their other condos and accidentally booked this one instead.) Turns out it was a happy accident (but they were more than happy to fix it if I wanted them to!) They are super helpful and accommodating, the unit is beautiful and their check in and out instructions super helpful and reasonable. You can’t beat the location (4 pools and Dukes right on the property, beach steps from pools) and the partial ocean view is exactly as described (do be aware that it is a partial ocean view so you do need to be on the side balcony looking out to see the view but I personally don’t mind it to be honest). The view is gorgeous and the unit faces a public park and parking lot so it’s pretty quiet all hours of the day. We have stayed on the Honua Kai property several times and we’ll definitely be back to stay in this unit! Mahalo to Jill and Terry for allowing our family to use your wonderful home!

Great location

The condo was equiped with just about everything you need for cooking and hanging on the beach. The lanai was very private which I loved and the partial ocean view was way better than I expected! We even saw whales from the lanai. It was awsome having beach chairs and a cooler for use as we were out just about every day exploring the island and I loved that we were able to pack picnic lunches for our adventures. We were usually too exhausted at the end of the day to care much about going to eat at restaraunts which made the nearby food truck park a saviour. I think the walk takes all of 5 minutes and eating there took the pressure off of us to have to shower and get ready for a restaraunt meal. There is also a pizza restaraunt and grocery store within walking distance as well. The resort itself was superb! Very clean, not too crowded, leads right to the beach (which is beautiful!) The views from the beach are beautiful and the boardwalk that runs along the beach side was lovely for morning or afternoon strolls. There were several days during our stay that high end local craft vendors would set up tents showcasing there items for sale. The only snags we had (if you can even call them that) was some minimal confusion when checking in. Our paperwork indicated a specific room number that turned out to already have a guest in it. Upon further review, we saw that the wifi password was connected to a different room number, so we tried our door code on that room and it worked.

Incredible condo in an incredible location!

My family stayed at this condo during the Christmas/New Year (2011/2012). We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed our stay at Honua Kai. This unit was very spacious, clean, well equipped and has a nice view (we watched a pod of Spinner Dolphins swim by from the balcony on our last day at the condo). It was great to have a full kitchen (didn't have to eat out all the time), and the washer/dryer made it easy to keep up with laundry (didn't have to bring home dirty laundry). The swimming pools/waterfalls/water slide are incredible. Duke's Restaurant is very good too (try the Calamari, Hula Pie and Lava Flow!). The parking was great too (underground parking w/elevator that takes you to the second floor just down the hall from the entrance to the unit). The snorkeling at the beach (a few hundred yards away) was really good too and it's less than a mile to Whaler's Village/Black Rock. There is a grocery store (Times) across the street and other stores/shops (I even got a haircut in that strip mall across the street). It's about a 10 minute drive to Lahaina Town. Honua Bay is about 15 minutes away (great snorkeling and surfing). If you're staying in the Ka'anapali area I highly recommend this condo in Honua Kai!

We saw whales from the lanai!

Our family enjoyed a great 1 week stay at the Honua Kai! The best part of the stay was the whales :) Not only did we see whales from the beach and pool area but we also got a few glimpses of them from the lanai! Truly magical!! Jill was great to work with and super accommodating. Always quick to respond to questions and provided us with great recommendations. Condo was in a great location! We enjoyed the boardwalk to all the shops / restaurants in Kaanapali. We ate at the food truck lot right outside the resort multiple times, great casual food options! We loved eating outside on the lanai in the condo. Condo had close access to the elevator, which was great with small kids. Close to the pool! The condo had everything we needed. Great selection of pots and pans to use as well at everyday condiments! Plenty of room In the condo for 2 adults and 2 kids. We loved how the Honua kai had the feeling of a resort but comfortableness of a condo. Kids loved the pools and slide. Tons of great pool options for adults and kids of all ages. Even when it was busy there was still plenty of space to lounge at the pool. Overall great stay! Can't wait to come back next year!

Very dirty Condo! Not worth the money for this unit!

Walked into a very dirty grimy kitchen! ALL kitchen cupboards and handles were dirty and sticky! Hadn’t been properly cleaned in a long time! Fridge dirty, stove dirty, floors had big dirt spots on them so you could clearly see the unit hasn’t been cleaned properly AT ALL! We complained to owners and they had another cleaner come in and we asked specifically to concentrate on cleaning the kitchen. To our disappointment the cupboards, handles, fridge etc hadn’t been touched so we spent a whole day on vacation cleaning. Their other units were booked so we asked them to move us to a clean unit but got no response. They only suggested another cleaner come in and try again or do our laundry? We received no money back and still paid for cleaning fee ( they never offered to take money off for disappointment and inconvenience of their condo) We love Honua Kai, have stayed here before and units have always been clean, great owners/management company to deal with etc. These owners own a few condos and have lost the personal touches that matter to people when it comes to having a great vacation.

Amazing Property!! Condo living with the luxury of a hotel setting!

We were pleasantly surprised with the Honua Kai resort as it has much more of a hotel feel to it than we were expecting. It has a beautiful little lobby with a well-equipped gift shop and free valet service. (The self parking was always full if coming in late at night.) The grounds and pools were amazing. Having Duke's Restaurant located right on property was huge as we went out to other restaurants a couple of nights and Duke's was still the best so we should've just stayed there! The beach was small but the owners provided everything you would need to enjoy it so we took advantage. The snorkeling right out in front of the resort was some of the best snorkeling we saw the entire two weeks we spent in Hawaii. Tons of fish and sea turtles just feet from the shore!! The unit was exactly as described and so well equipped. We loved having the huge Nana Wall that we opened every morning to have breakfast out on our lanai. We also cooked quite a bit and the unit had everything we needed...even some extras that we bought on our way to the resort not realizing that they would already be provided! The only negative that I can think of is the sofa bed was very uncomfortable...basically a very thin bed of creaky springs. Every night we tried adding things to it to make it more comfortable for my daughter but she had a hard time sleeping there. We made it work though and enjoyed being there so much that we were okay with it. In the future, I might not request this particular unit just for this reason though...we might upgrade to a two bedroom if traveling with more than two people again. The view is exactly as advertised. I feel like the units that face in definitely have a better view of the beautiful grounds and/or pool and ocean but this one faces the side and basically just looks at a parking area/back of the neighboring hotel, although you can see water in the distance. With that said, we enjoyed the peacefulness of being on this side of the resort and eating breakfast in our PJ's without an audience. We had a couple of questions throughout the stay and Jill and Terry were always very helpful with answering them quickly and politely. I highly recommend renting this unit, especially for a couple. With an upgraded sofa bed mattress, we would absolutely stay here as a family again!

Fabulous Ocean Sunsets and Pools

We enjoyed the sunsets over the ocean visible from the lanai and the many pools and waterfalls at the resort. The accommodations were modern, clean and comfortable and the pool/beach towels were easy to get from the automatic dispensers (activated by waterproof, electronic wrist band available in different sizes after checkin). This unit is on the quiet side with views of gardens and monkey pod and palm trees in addition to the ocean. Our unit included beach chairs, umbrella and cooler. Communication with owners was great when needed. We would stay here again.

Relaxing place to stay

Everything was wonderful and the apartment was well maintained and had excellent instructions for us to have a great time.

Great Stay!

It’s a great condo with a nice corner view of the ocean. We ate all meals on the lanai. The kitchen is well stocked with equipment. I loved the small touches like a drying rack, liquid hand soap in the kitchen & bathroom, bin for shoes & laundry basket. All appliances were working well. Jill and Terry are accessible and easy to contact. Great time in Maui… thanks!!

Great room for conference getaway!

Overall, very nice room. It was clean, plenty of space, and the outdoor deck was expansive. We didn't have the 'greatest' nights sleep as the bed was kind of hard, but for most users, I'm sure it will be fine. Property is extremely high-quality, we would stay here again. Thanks!

Aloha, we are Terry Gardiner and Jill Oudil, we are Realtors and we have been coming to Hawaii since the 1980's. We used to always go to Waikiki but now we find that West Maui in general and the Honua Kai Resort in particular take the Hawaiian experience to a whole new level.
We love living in Vancouver B.C. but this place is exactly what we dreamed about in a 'home away from home'.

As REALTORS® we believe that it is all about location. (cliched but true) We scouted out several areas in Maui but found that the combination of easy access from the airport, beach front access, proximity to shopping, Whaler's Village and Lahaina made the location ideal. When you add in all that the Honua Kai Resort has to offer is was a 'no brainer'. It is an amazing place to stay.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

We love gourmet cooking and we find that having a fully stocked kitchen with everything from the salad spinner to the martini shaker was ideal for us. When we land at OGG we grab the rental car and then drive 1 block to Costco and load up. In the afternoon we will relax by the pool and then usually hit Duke's for Happy Hour to have a cocktail and an appie and listen to a little live Hawaiian music. We follow that up with some time on our lanai before either firing up the stove or heading to the bar-be-cue areas that feature many Viking Grills.If dining out is the plan we take a stroll down the boardwalk to one of many restaurants along the way or head into Lahaina. The boardwalk that separates the Honua Kai from the beach also comes in handy in the morning. We like to grab a coffee at the Whalers store in our lobby and take a leisurely stroll towards Black Rock and Whaler's Village. For those that love to run or jog the boardwalk is a scenic treat.
