Beautiful and peaceful

This is our second year staying here for a long weekend. We are a group of families just looking for a clean spacious house to spend time together, and this place does not disappoint. The home and grounds are immaculate!

This house was incredible! Each morning, waking up to view the Apple Orchard was magical. We enjoyed Thanksgiving with our family, and the home had everything we needed to cook a wonderful meal. A gentle dusting of snow enhanced the charming ambiance. The host was very attentive and quickly addressed our questions. Plus, the main floor layout was safe for our elderly family members, with no tripping hazards. The game room was really great fun!! We will definitely book this home again.

Private setting with great amenities

This house is great for a large family, group of friends, or even a wedding. The house is well appointed and spacious with good storage space. The views on the property are beautiful and the pool is terrific. The host is responsive and helpful. We’d definitely stay here again!

Unbelievable views and exceptional house. Much better than we expected, and I give it the highest rating.

House was great, well equipped and great heated pool. Lots of extras provided in the house. Definitely look and book this house, it was perfect. Can’t beat the daily views of deers from house.

Wish we stayed longer!!

When walking in the place, it smelled and looked super clean. The view is spectacular from every window and so much room to lounge around. They had everything we needed from cookware to bathroom essentials. The staff around the property where super nice and accommodating. We really enjoyed swimming in the heated pool and walking around the property.

Beautiful, peaceful, clean!

This home was clean and upgraded, and the property was very well maintained and peaceful. We had a group of families stay for a long weekend, and there was something for every age. The game room and lawn games were a hit, the pool was immaculate, and there was plenty of space and privacy to enjoy each other's company. The hosts were easy to communicate with and quick to respond. We absolutely loved it!

Excellent Stay - Didn’t want to leave!

We were in town for our son‘s wedding and had 14 people. There was plenty of space for all of us. The property was immaculate. We enjoyed the views and the opportunity to go fishing. We were so impressed by the attention to detail. This house is fabulous! We would highly recommend!

Perfect Country Vacation for Families

The house was clean and comfortable and well equipped. The beds were comfortable and the house was roomy enough for my family of 15. The property was just amazing. The kids were able to run around and play without having to worry about traffic or making noise. They learned to fish in the pond, loved the heated pool and the game room. We all enjoyed watching the deer every evening. It was just a perfect vacation for my extended family.

Quiet Quality Family Getaway

It was the perfect getaway for those looking for a beautiful view in the country. During the day, we played in the pool, hiked, fished, checked out the cavern and played wiffle ball. During the evening, we set a fire, watched an outdoor movie (brought a projector and screen or played in the game room. The air conditioning was our only issue upstairs but minor.

Snow Storm

We had an evening and had to leave the next day due to predictions of 6 inches for snow. Celebrated Thanksgiving w at my niece's home instead - did not go back to house. Got cleaning fee back.Schoharie had now had such a storm in a decade.

Great house on a great property

The house is great with plenty of space for family activities both inside and outside. We enjoyed the board games, game room (pool table, ping pong table, and foosball), saltwater swimming pool, and patio for both deer watching and some of the better stargazing conditions we have seen in NY. Our gracious hosts were quick to answer any questions and tell us about the history of their ~600 acre property, including which apples were already in season. Overall we had a fantastic time and hope to have an opportunity to return!

SPECTUCULAR GETAWAY!!!!

WOW! If you are looking to get away to relax and unwind this is the spot to be! This AMAZING orchard house exceeded our expectations! My family and friends truly enjoyed a relaxing and stress free vacation. We were in awe with how tasteful the house was decorated. The home was beautiful, clean and HUGE! From the breathtaking views of the mountains and apple orchard to the heated pool and game room, this home was impressive and a true oasis. We enjoyed our morning coffee each day on the back patio over looking the mountains. There was always at least 10 deer walking around the orchard close in view. It was simply spectacular! The game room was a huge hit for both kids and adults. Plus an outdoor grill for cooking made dinners easy. There are multiple living spaces w/ flat screen tv's and fireplaces for a fun "Movie Night" (movie subscriptions included). The kitchen has everything you would ever need and the beds were so comfortable! The pillows, sheets and towels were all A+. The master bath was a relaxing retreat. From unwinding in the soaking tub, to the tile scheme in the waterfall shower. The outdoor life at the orchard home is beyond incredible! We enjoyed hikes, both on and off property (10 min. drive to Vroman's Nose). We caught fish in the catch and release ponds and spent hours swimming in the enormous heated pool. The check in and check out process was very easy and Rene was always super nice and helpful from start to finish! We will definitely be visiting this property every year and would give more than 5 stars if we could!
