Coastal Cottage Unit 28 Lot 21... NEW LISTING... A cozy cottage down a lane and against a hedgerow with ocean views and is a few yards away from the Bluff Trail with easy access to Walk On Beach. Located 4.1 miles from Gualala, this quiet hideaway is perfect for a weekend getaway. Cook a great meal, read a book, catch up on a streamed series, or just watch the ocean from the living room or the newly built redwood deck. The vacation home comes with 1 separate bedroom, 1 bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area and oven, and a small living room with a flat-screen TV, a mini-split heating and cooling system, and a wood burning stove to keep you comfy.
A one-of-a-kind retreat for discerning guests wanting privacy and a chance to get away from the daily grind.

SEA RANCH AND SONOMA COUNTY GUIDELINES
Drones are strictly prohibited in The Sea Ranch.
Quiet hours must be observed between 9pm and 7am every day.
No outdoor amplified sound is allowed at any time day or night.
Maximum number of vehicles at house shall be 2 (two), parked in driveway. No RV's

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit is close to Walk on Beach and the bluff trail. It was clean upon arrival. The kitchen was fairly well stocked. Private. The bed was comfortable. Poor lighting if you like to read; a few floor lamps would help. The downstairs furniture was not comfortable for me and my back. The primary heat source is the wood stove, which I had some difficulty with but eventually got going. An electric heater in the bedroom would be nice. As noted in the listing, there is no hot tub or bbq.

This is a small home perfect in size and location for a couple to enjoy Sea Ranch. The lighting is rather dim, which might be difficult to easily rectify given the layout. The tile floors should be deeply cleaned. The audio on the TV needs to be amplified. But none of this significantly detracted from our having a great break and thoroughly enjoying Sea Ranch. We might well return to the Cozy Cottage.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were looking for a place to go to escape our summer heat and friends suggested Sea Ranch. This was our first time there and we enjoyed every minute. The home we selected was perfect for the two of us and in a wonderful spot. It’s a terrific place to relax, enjoy long walks on the shore and forget all the stress of normal life. We would definitely go back!

Private and peaceful

My husband and I stayed for a 4 day weekend - it was the perfect getaway. The location was convenient and perfect for our needs. The rental property was very well appointed, perfectly clean, and had everything we needed. The house is set back from the road, nestled behind shrubs and almost in the trees. It is as private as it can be in Sea Ranch and we didn't see the neighbors at all. Beautiful ocean view, lots of quail and deer walking past, and steps from the coastal path. We will be back! It was perfect.

Dream sea ranch getaway

I couldn't have asked for a better place for solo retreat (would be perfect for a couple as well). Beautiful spot steps from the ocean with a meadow in front and plenty of space between neighborhing properties, lovely mid-century modern furnishings, Cypress grove immediately to the North and all the amenities one needs. The design of the house is the typical open Sea Ranch style, but with touches that also made it cozy and comfortable. I started my day on the patio with a cup of coffee, watching the ocean and a white tailed kite hunting in the meadow and ended each day in the same place with a glass of wine watching the sun set over the Pacific. My one suggestion would be shades for the sliding glass door in the Living Room and the window in the TV nook. It felt a little exposed, but more importantly, the windows confused the birds, 2 of whom sadly flew into them.
