BHTS Kauai Vacation Condo - No Housekeeping Fee

Nestled on a hillside overlooking Kalapaki Bay. Make yourself at home in our 2-bedroom apartment that has a full kitchen, dishwasher, washer & dryer. Banyan Harbor is only 2-miles from the Lihue Airport and centrally located on the Island of Kauai which makes it convenient to travel to any part of the island.

Our property doesn't have any elevators and some units do have at least 2 flights of stairs to get to the unit. Please contact us with any requests regarding needing a unit with minimum stairs (Based on availability). We do not offer daily housekeeping service. Towels can be exchanged at the Front Office.

A credit card is required at check-in for any incidentals or charges for damages. Guest is responsible for any damages to the unit.

Wedding in Kauai

Everything about our stay was awesome. We were down for a wedding and this location was perfect since it was centralized. In 3 days we got to visit the whole island on our short stay. Also within walking distance place to eat. Thank you!

Relaxing stay

It is very close to the airport which is good. It is at a walking distance to the beach,, abc store, small mall with several restaurants. It is at a good proximity to the different shores of the island. Check in and check out process was easy.The apartment is spacious and very clean plus the unit has its own assigned covered parking which was a plus.We used the kitchen everyday to cook our meals. All the utensils and cutlery were provided. The bedrooms are on the upper floor. The only thing that troubled me was the bed mattress. It is too soft and easily sinks in.The Kauai community farmers market on Saturday is a 5 min drive and you can pick all your tropical fruits and vegetables from here. We enjoyed our stay here. Thank you!

This was my family’s first trip to Kauai, and spending the first few nights here was great. Plenty of space in the condo. Enjoyed how walkable dining, shopping and the beaches were. Would recommend!

Relaxing 3 days in Lihue

Great apartment in a well maintained complex, good parking opportunities as well as nice pool and good location to reach all relevant sightseeing points of the island. Our family enjoyed the stay with big living room and two bathrooms. Communication with owner and facility management was both excellent. Regards Marius

Proximity to Airport + Beach

Great spot for island exploration. 5 minute drive from Lihue Airport and quick access to highway to reach northern section of Kauai. Property was clean and met our needs.

Great stay!

Very centrally located. AC was appreciated! There is a walk up stairs to reach the unit. If you get back in the late evening the parking close to the unit may be taken , but there was parking further away. Minor considering the positives. Enjoyed our stay. Mahalo

Wonderful location , beautiful unit

Love being so close to Kalapaki. The unit is spacious and well-appointed. Love being able to go to different parts of the island — Poipu, West Side, North Shore — easily because of central location! Will stay again!

We had a wonderful stay. The location is convenient for getting anywhere. The room was more spacious than it appeared in the photos. I would like to stay here again when we visit Kauai.

Great Unit

Our unit was clean and updated. We appreciated the quality of the dishes and kitchen accessories. Often times rental units have sub par kitchen items and this was not the case at Banyan. We didn't care for the location but I think that's just our preference, having stayed on a different part of the island earlier. The Banyan property itself is old and shows wear and tear. I wouldn’t call it a resort. Our unit was very nice. You will have to turn each A/C unit on when you check in. They are on a 6 hour timer and kept us very cool! We found our unit comfortable and the price was right!

Fun Air B and B at Low price

We enjoyed the beautiful neighborhood of the location, the rain forest and the fun extras included at the air b and b, like pickleball, a walking trail and the pool. There was some confusion at check in and we got charged extra. However, we were able to quickly resolve the issue and the extra ammount was reimbursed.

Great mid-island location

This is our third stay to this condo complex - we love the location, easy walk to the beach and food, and nice mid point to explore the rest of the island. I wish the pool were a little warmer, and that there was a hot tub, but otherwise we love it (obviously since we keep going back...) We did get harassed a bit from the Auntie at the front desk who called us and wanted to us to bring everyone down to the office because she had information that we had 10 children with us (4 adults and one 8-month old in reality), and then told us to stay at the condo use the pool because the beaches would be too crowded with the cruise ship in port....Seriously? She had quite the attitude, and it was not good. We just ignored her and had a great time at the beaches (Kalipaki right there by the condo, Poipu,and my favorite Hanalei Bay on the northeast side. There are a lot of excellent local eats, and we always make a trip to Kalaheo Coffee and Cafe for breakfast one day - usually on our way up to drive Waiema Canyon. BTW, the last mile of the canyon drive at the top was closed, but we parked and walked up - it was well worth it as there was no one there, and the clouds parted several times for amazing views of the NaPali coast!!!

Great Location and Value

Great location close to all the Kalapaki Beach activities, restaurants and shops. It’s an older facility but clean and hospitable. Can’t beat the value!

Very clean

Condo was very clean and well equipped. View picture is a bit misleading as there is a nice beach/ harbor view to the left, but straight and to the right is a view of an industrial building with two ugly silos. Front desk clerk had her head down in paperwork when I arrived and without lifting her head to look at me she said “I’ll be right with you”. After two or three minutes she finally lifted her head and said “Name?”. NOT welcoming and NO ALOHA. She was efficient, but could stand to be reminded that her livelihood depends on tourists.

Central overall location with views of harbor

Stay was a short one…unit was quiet, very well stocked, comfortable well appointed unit with nice queen beds, 2 bed/2 bath 2 level townhome that we used for a night prior to flying on a red eye home. Good location where the cruise ships come into Lihue, close to airport, both to north, south and west coasts. Very nice harbor views, large activity area and lovely large pool and club house area. Nice beach a few minute walk away along with shops and good restaurants. Staff were very friendly, welcoming and friendly. I would not hesitate for another stay.
