This is a home that you can relax and enjoy the San Francisco Bay view with a cup of coffee in the morning sunlight. It is quiet and private, with a separate office and WIFI, a perfect place for both vacation and remote work.

The home is close to freeway 101 and 280.
- 5 min drive to BART/Caltrain station and to SFO airport
- A short drive to stores and restaurants in Millbrae
- 20 min drive to San Francisco or the Silicon Valley
The space

Peaceful, Convenient, and Welcoming

This was my second stay and David and Long's place and once again, it was perfect for my business trip. Quiet neighborhood meant restful sleep, and the location is super convenient—close to Safeway, Trader Joe’s, and I-280. Ling and David are lovely hosts: friendly, responsive, and helpful. I especially appreciated their tip about the nearby trail—great for evening walks!

Great Place for Remote Work/ SF Vacation

Great place with space for a couple to enjoy some time in SF. Close to airport and really anything in and around the city. But also it comes with a nice private office area that i was able to really use for my work during an extended stay. Some strengths i really enjoyed: in-house laundry, great internet, cozy living room, and very private, lots of local restaurants and shopping options. Some details to note: The kitchen is small, not a problem, but don't expect to do fancy meals without some planning. The neighborhood is very hilly and can feel like a maze at first. Great for walks if you will enjoy the exercise, but keep your phone handy for a map if needed!

Nice spot

Very basic. Seems like the owners are new to temp renting. Kinda like a two star hotel room. Needs updating on bedding, kitchen supplies, lighting and Wi Fi. It is an attached two room apartment with host family house. No access to out door cooking area or patio with a view. Once they update it will be a nice spot.

Good Alternative to a Hotel

The location is excellent and served as the perfect base camp for us. We particularly appreciated the dedicated parking spot, which made coming and going easy. While street parking is available for those with more than one vehicle, accessing the unit requires a 150-foot hike up a steep driveway. The view of the airport in the distance was a delight we enjoyed each day.Inside, there’s a lot to like. Overall, the unit was clean, well-lit when the curtains were open, and smartly laid out. The LVP flooring is beautiful, and the sofa is incredibly comfortable. The bed is among the most comfortable we’ve ever experienced in a short-term rental, and the linens and towels were of high quality. Those details matter, and they got them right.However, some aspects were outside our comfort zone. The unpainted patched areas on the walls, an unreliable internet connection that was often unstable during Zoom calls and while trying to watch streaming services, and the minimal setup in the kitchen contributed to this. We chose this listing because of the full-size fridge and gas range, as I planned to cook regularly for our nearby family. This kitchen is best suited for light use, such as coffee, breakfast, and simple snacks, and is not intended for preparing full meals or extensive cooking.

Perfect for my business trip

I travel to SSF fairly often, and Milbrae is one of my preferred places to stay when I am travelling for work. David's place was in a lovely neighbourhood - it's a quiet and safe location, and I couldn't really even hear the planes despite being so close to the airport!. The cottage is clean, *very* comfortable bed, great little kitchenette with gas cooker and fridge freezer - perfect for making small meals if one does not fancy eating out. Utility room and small study area were a great bonus. Location is great - you will need a car - but Trader Joe's and Safety a 6 minute drive away, the i280 is literally 3 mins away, and so it is very easy to drive into town, or out to Pacifica etc if you fancy some nice coastal walks. All in all a perfect stay for my business trip. I'm bookmarking this place for all my future stays from now on! And a huge thank you to David and Ling for their wonderful hospitality - was really lovely meeting you!
