The midges were so bad and at least 50 came into the house each time we opened the door. I suggest spraying it with something like some of the bars did so we can get in and out of the house. Due to the number of midges in the house, we slept with the bedroom doors shut and had to turn the AC down low to cool off the bedrooms. We wouldn’t have had any issues without the midges, so I would definitely stay here again! Had everything we needed and was clean!

The property was a two minute walk to the strip at Geneva on the lake. It made it so easy just to park our car at the cottage and walk up to the strip. The host was so accommodating and answered any questions I had very promptly. The interior of the cottage was very clean And very up-to-date. There were also some amenities that we appreciated having. I rate this cottage as a five. We could drive to the beach in about six minutes, so convenient.

Loved the little cottage. Very clean and nicely decorated. Perfect for my sister and I. It’s so close to the strip but in a quiet little area. Would definitely recommend.

Quaint cottage, great location

Excellent location, just a minute walk from the strip. Small but comfortable cottage, nice fenced in backyard with fire pit. A little pricey for the space but otherwise a terrific stay.

The place was clean and equiped with most everything we needed. We were there three nights so did not cook only made coffee in the morning. We plan to come back again as the rental was very convenient to everything we needed. Thanks for allowing us to use your place.

Get-A-Way

Very clean. Perfect for my husband and I for our little get-away. Just the right size for us. Bed was comfortable and the air conditioner worked perfectly. Michael was very easy to communicate with and answered questions promptly. Close enough to the strip to walk, but didn't have all the noise from the music venues.

Highly recommend…..small but Gr8 for me & my husband. Easy walk to strip, nice neighborhood. 2 story house overlooking backyard with balcony but no one there during our stay otherwise might be uncomfortable sitting in backyard with them looking down on you. But still would stay again….A rating.

Darling cottage steps from the strip!

My husband, our friends, and I enjoyed our stay at Lake Grove Cottage. The cottage is tastefully decorated, and we had everything we needed. We were able to walk to the strip which we really appreciated. It was our first visit to Geneva on the Lake, and the host communicated with us promptly in response to our questions about area restaurants and wineries. We lived GOTL and the cottage!

Overall it was a good property and stay. Close to everything! It is very nice that they provided soap, garbage bags and a few other things. Sadly the washer didn’t work so we couldn’t do laundry before leaving as planned. The fridge was very clean and check-in was easy. There was also a homeless man roaming around non stop around the street and kept following us around which made me very uncomfortable with my kids.

Girls trip

Wonderful 4 day trip. Place close enough to strip but far enough away from busyness of strip. Plenty of room, great accommodations such as towels, sheets, kitchen items, propane grill. Very pleased! Only request I have is adding mat or slip strips to tub for safety. Overal definitely place to rent and would be thrilled to do it again.

MDW Family Trip to GOTL

My family (wife and two kids ages 5 & 6) visited GOTL for Memorial Day weekend. Overall it was a great visit. The cottage is very close to the main strip making a lot of activities walkable. We went to the Adventure Zone, Eddie’s Grill, Madsen Donuts and many of the little shops with a short walk. The cottage is great for families but is a little snug. But we spent so much time away from the cottage that it wasn’t an issue. The property is very clean and has been modernized. There were lots of amenities provided by the owner which quad greatly appreciated. It’s the small things that count and there were plenty of those!

Great Cabin

Perfect stay in a cozy cabin. The cabin was as described and well furnished. Beds were comfortable and fit our needs. Owner was great and let us check in early. Highly recommended.

Adorable Cottage with Great Location!

Booked this cottage for a friend’s bachelorette getaway trip. We had never been to this area before but the cottage provided many brochures and contacts for local businesses. For the 4 of us girls, the cottage was a good size. The backyard was spacious for a fire and even had a grill. Due to the weather, we stayed indoors when we weren’t out at the wineries. Very nice interior and decor. Overall we loved it!
