Welcome to Cottage at Sebago a 5 bedroom 2 bath Cottage nestled in a nice lake side community embracing fun and relaxation. Come with family and friends to this private oasis on a 1/2 acre. The home is warm and cozy and offers room for up to 14 guests amenities include a walk out deck, grill, hammocks, 2 sheds, outdoor fireplace, horse shoe pits and a stroll to the private beach association at Sebago Pines!

The welcoming association boosts a long dock and well maintained private boat launch and a large pavilion. You will find the beach area shallow for beginner swimmers and easy to relax onshore where there are fireplaces and grills to enjoy.

Sebago cove allows boats up to 25ft access to the Sebago lake under the route 114 bridge and is a peaceful and quiet section of the lake. Long Lake and Naples Causeway are a 2.4 miles
away giving access to all the amenities e.g Ricks Cafe, Freedom Cafe and Watercraft rentals. Book your trip and enjoy the way life should be at this perfect Vacationland retreat.

Overall we were happy with our stay. The house was clean upon arrival. Our host Alex was very responsive to any inquiries made. The house is equipped with the basics but did meet all our needs. It was also well stocked with paper towels and toilet paper which was unexpected but a nice surprise. There are 2 full bathrooms which was great for the number we had in our party. There is no king size bed but the configuration of the bedrooms/beds did work well for us to ensure everyone had their own space. Each bedroom also had a tv which was a unexpected surprise. The yard was big enough for the kids to play and the beach area a short walk (maybe 10 min) away and was clean and well kept. Would recommend driving to the beach vs walking if going with anyone elderly or mobility challenged (getting there no problem but the walk up the hill to come back home proved to be too much for my elderly mother). As previously stated we were overall satisfied and would stay here again!

Served it's purpose. Had a grill and a firepit in the yard. 10 minute walk down to a nice beach area. House was very bare bones with a bunch of beds upstairs. Some parts of the listing felt misleading. The 1 kayak in the shed only had half a paddle. It would go a long way if the host followed through on the promise of a stocked kitchen. There was only 1 cutting board available that had been left outside that was covered in mold. The knives were so dull we had to buy a knife sharpener. No pepper, oil, or sponges around. The grill did work though which was good.

Fishing trip on Sebago

Property was overall clean, water was not very potable and the grill was infested with mice. Only real issue was the listing offered a private boat launch and the key happened to be lost in the mail so our boat launch was unavailable to use which forced our group to use the extremely busy public boat launch 18 minutes away. The host did refund $100 to my account for inconvenience. I feel this was an avoidable problem because we booked months in advance and had conversations with the host about the boat launch.

The description did not match out experience.

The rental did not have a king-sized bed as advertised. (I even specifically asked beforehand and was reassured that it did.) There weren't any hot mitts or kitchen towels. Two of the bedrooms are missing blinds and the sprayer for the kitchen sink does not work. Upon arrival we found a bottle of Advil propping open the window in the bedroom with bunk beds. This is unsafe since we had young children with us. The amenities mentioned spices and a baby gate, but those could not be found. Communication needs some work. I had to ask for check-in information the day before since none had been sent. (I've done many rentals and most send information 3 days out in advance.) We were sent a checkout message after the checkout time had already passed. I've never written such negative review for a rental before, but our whole group was disappointed by the experience.
