Short visit

My husband and I ( along with our little Mini Pin dog ) stayed there a couple of days while we visited with our son while he was in town on business. We enjoyed our stay and there was a lot more room than we needed. I loved the open floor plan. The house was clean, welcoming, and well supplied.

Weekend getaway

We met friends from out of town at this beautiful house. Multiple living rooms with so much space inside and out. Yard was perfect for our dog to run around in. We spent a lot of time on the closed in porch drinking coffee.We will be booking this again when we stay in Michigan next.

Super cute and convenient!

The home is spacious and quiet with tons of natural light and furry friends that visited every day! Deer, bunnies, and a gopher! The listing did say there was a full sized bed in the living room but the couch didn’t seem to pull out but we made it work. Plenty of in house amenities included to make us comfortable.

wonderful place

Great location. Well stocked. Clean. 2 items that cannot change include the sulphur smell in the well water and the location near the highway. it didnt bother me but was noticed by otherrs. Great place and appreciate the experience!

A stay at your good friend’s cozy house

Staying here was like staying at your best friend’s clean house in Ann Arbor. It is inviting, clean, and cozy- you feel like you can really relax and enjoy your downtime. The host has thought of everything you could possibly need as a guest and the home includes more amenities and conveniences than you could imagine. I appreciate the attention to detail and the personality infused throughout the property. The location was perfect for our family’s visit to Ann Arbor. The kids loved it, too!

Comfortable stay

This cozy cottage was perfect for our family of 3 plus the dog. Way more spacious than I expected with 2 living rooms, 2 bedrooms upstairs and another bedroom in the basement. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a couple of meals. Was glad to have some extras-washer/dryer to use, bath towels, coffee pods, many toiletries in case you forgot something. Owner responded right away when I reached out. Constant hum of highway traffic all night did not bother us but others might want to know. We found the beds comfy and we could adjust the thermostat to a lower temperature that we prefer when sleeping. Would definitely recommend this place!

Clean, easy to access, with a couple minor quirks

The location was ideal for our needs, kitchen, living area, and beds were comfortable and very nice. The minor suggestions I would offer are 1. Vinyl floor has swollen, apparently, and has an area of very uneven and noisy humps in it that could cause someone to trip and are disconcerting towalk on. 2. I sleep with a CPAP and need a bedside table that it will fit on. 3. King bed in Bedroom 1 is comfortable but too big to shut bedroom door (thus noisy floor woke me at night). 4. No lights by beds to allow easy on/off from bed. 5. There was a small amount of outdoor junk on ground near entry door that detracted from view.

Great house and communication

This place had everything we need to accommodate two families, a total of eight. The location to the University of Michigan Central campus and the football stadium was perfect; a quick Uber ride. The price per night was very accommodating too. The reason why this place doesn’t get higher ratings is because when we checked in the whole property smelled like marijuana, which concerned us immediately having children with us. The back sun porch area was unusable because of the smoke, tobacco and marijuana, smell. We had to spend the first few hours fumigating the house with every fan, opening up as many windows as possible. Property owner replied quickly, and was able to get us a one night refund, which we really appreciated. We don’t blame her, as it clearly was the previous guest, who stayed there and didn’t follow the rules. And, although a cleaning crew went through the property prior to check in, I was surprised they missed the smell and didn’t do anything to air out the property prior to us arriving.

Host answered all questions quickly. We enjoyed our stay in Ann Arbor. This trip we travelled with 2 dogs, they had a great time watching the squirrels and playing in the leaves. We did not use all the amenities, but there were many and they appeared in good condition.
