New gorgeous private studio suite in country setting with laundry and parking.

Very Private studio suite in the beautiful Saanich East area, with views of trees and mountains out your back door. Located in a newly-built home, the totally private suite features an open-concept kitchen, living area with eat-in bar. Living room includes single daybed that pulls out to a king bed with storage, coffee table, and tv. Appliances include full-size fridge, full-size stove(with hood fan), microwave and brand new washer/dryer. Fully stocked kitchen.
Full bathroom with towels.
Wifi / Netflix
This is a suite in the lower level of our home. We are busy active family that will be around.
I’m available for anything you need but will respect your privacy. Families are welcome! Kids are welcome to explore the yard and visit the chickens but the terrain can be unsafe and will always need supervision. There will be sounds coming from the upstairs and neighbouring rooms.

We had 1 night stay with our dog and it was ideal for our visit. Very clean and hospital. Owner left fresh eggs and milk etc. in the fridge and plenty of tea and coffee for us to use. Bed was comfortable and shower was great. I would recommend this as a great place to stay

This place's rave reviews persuaded me to book despite some reservations. While the host was pleasant, and the neighborhood is quiet and quaint, it's important to be honest about the space/house. It's a small space, probably better suited for a college kid on their own. A kitchen with good amenities but no real living space as the bed takes up all of that. And to be clear, it's a hide a bed. Not a vacation style bed, which was just ok to sleep on.Most importantly, the noise is real and constant. You will hear foot steps/stomping at times. And theres a room next to yours which could be occupied. (Including alarm clocks). Probably shouldn't be available to rent if others are staying at the rest of the house.I do think this is a misleading ad, and I'm sorry because I'm sure these are lovely people. Due to the new rules in BC, these places are inevitable. It's most likely back to hotels for myself and for anyone booking you need the truth about the space.

Comfortable and welcoming home-away-from-home nestled in a pretty neighborhood. The location is perfect for going to the theater in downtown Victoria and for hiking up Mt Doug to see the 360 view.

Perfect fit!

I needed quietude, nature and a little place for me and my small dog, while visiting family in Victoria. So much love has been imbedded in this home and its location, flowers abound. I will be sure to return, thanks Maggie!

Art Residency Near UVIC

This is a great, clean, cozy, fully self-contained unit I stayed in on my own while on a self-directed artist residency at UVIC (which was a very short drive away!) The yard and the whole neighbourhood is quite beautiful, especially in late spring when everything is in full bloom. It also felt very safe and is within walking distance to a grocery store (15-20 minutes). The space was perfect for a solo-retreat and would also be great for couples.

Easy stay close to UVIC

I think if you are looking to stay near UVIC but not on campus, this is your best spot. Easy 15 minute bus ride, safe area and accommodation with all the amenities. The complementary farm fresh eggs were appreciated as well.

Quiet Stay in a Lovely Setting

I arrived for my week stay and the bed was pulled out and made up so I really appreciated this after my long day of travel. Note: When couch is opened to the bed you will need to step over the corner to access the kitchen and bathroom. Really nice living space, clean with many nice amenities like, soft towels, beautiful toiletries, nice comfy bedding and lots of pillows! Yay! Good set up in kitchen for meal prep, linens, coffee/tea etc. Washer/Dryer was a bonus. Look forward to my next stay.

Lovely visit

Comfortable, quiet studio with access to the yard and view of the owner’s flower garden. The location is near several gardens, parks and a quick drive to downtown. Thanks for hosting a memorable stay.

Nice space. A bit tight to walk around the pullout bed once it’s open and eating area not the best as there is no room for your legs to sit when on the stools but very nice suite and quiet area. Nice to have laundry equipment in the suite.
